LOL..
Nurses are people also. It really only takes one bad apple to spoil the bussel as they say. Some view nurses as sex symbols only because of a few bad ones, some as angels.

Yes nurses do know about the human body. Knowledge is a good thing.Stress relief is also a good thing.

Some do get into bad relationships as someone has mentioned. Maybe there is a little something wrong with all of us. Why work long hours, low pay and clean up bodily functions, bloody messes, and care for those in their last hours? Maybe we like to know at the end of day.

where do nurses actually wear a "nurse outfit"

Why, they wear them in porn, of course! The rest of us all wear scrubs. I've been in nursing for a long time, and can't remember the last time I saw a white uniform dress on anyone. Or (hold onto your hats) a nursing 'cap'.

Never fear, men, the nurse authority has arrived! I have previously been married to two different CNA'S. (different times, of course) As I didn't know either before their nursing career, I cannot testify that the job had any effect on the matter, but I can testify both were extremily highly sexed women. The first was my CNA in a nursing home, where I spent 6 months healing from a very hard Harley crash. The day I was releashed, she took me to her house for some 'personal' intensive care. In some unexplainable way, said intensive care resulted in radical swelling of the caregivers tummy, some months later. After careful deliberation of the situation, over the obligatory bottle of Jack Daniels, it became clear to me that I probably loved this woman for ever & ever, & her 500 lb. fat Daddy didn't even need to persuade me to 'do the right thing'. No suh, not this romantic devil! I loaded said lady into my cheery 1964 pickup, (with only one fender slighty smashed), and proceeded to motor off , at great expense, to Kentucky, for a lovely romantic wedding in the JP's office. then to a charming motel on the interstate back home, for the honeymoon. Yes, it was a storybook romance and wedding!

Sadly, the romance soon faded when we got back to the farm, 20m. from the nearest town. However, through deligent effort we kept from killing each other, until finally we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl. 3 monthes later, the Mrs. decided she was ready to go back to work, & the drive was too far, so she rented a place in town. Did I want to move to town with her? This was a moot question, as I had a small herd of cows, pigs, chickens, etc & could not just pick up & go. It was then decided that I would stay on the farm to tend the animals, and be Mr. Mom to our daughter, and she would spend weekends with us. Naturally, this was not satisfactory to either of us, so it was mutually decided to split the sheets agreeably. This agreed division proceeded amazingly smooth, until we came to the small question of who gets the kid. With the typical woman attitude, she assumed I would simply let go, and if I didn't the court would give daughter to her, anyway.

BS, I said, I'm not giving up without a fight! And, fight I did! After many many hours studying custody and divorce laws on the Internet, I went to court representing myself, (because the local lawers would not accept such a hopeless case as a crippled up, 30 year, outlaw biker seeking custody of an infant girl child). After several somewhat shady legal moves I had learned, the miracle happened! Full custody to the Father, Your Honor said! Then ASKED me if I would be willing to award reasonable visitation to Mother. Well, heck, my case was won, no point in being a hard-ass, so I offered every other weekend, which was accepted. Case over!

Being a nice guy does pay off sometimes. 3 months after the divorce, and the usual divorced f**ks, the ex decided to repay my nice guy efforts by introducing me to one of her CNA co-workers. 6 months later, I married this one, too. (yes, I'm a sucker for them nurses) However, I have since learned them city girls, just can't handle life on the farm. Oh well, no biggie, I was now an experienced divorce lawer! Got this divorce finalized and over, for a grand total of $30, filing fees! Yes, the judge remembered me! Doesn't seem to be all that many husband's represent themselves in divorce court. I wouldn't reccomend it to everyone, but I will say it CAN be done, if one is willing to get serious about studying divorce laws on the net. It's all there, if looked for diligently, enough. Be sure to study it good enough to go into court with confidence, though! Any doubts of your ability will shine through to the judge, instantly, and you are then looked on as a bumbling amauter, denying some hard working lawer a living.

WARNING; nurses are great bed partners, however they are all looking to get married, too. Tom42149

They are NOT Registered Nurses!

Didn't say they were, however the 'nurse' in the title is good enuf for me!

Yes, I know RN's find this very irritating, my older daughter is an RN, and has told me many times, CNA's are not really nurses. But, these women took care of me for 6 monthes, while I was in a bodycast, & I don't care what anybody says, they are Nurses to me! Tom

No doubt at all, in my mind, you girls earn the nurse title. Anybody that has been there can tell you, the "nurse assistants" work harder than the nurses, and for less money. MOST of you are Angels! But, I ain't marrying no more of you, anyway. Well, not tomorrow anyway, maybe next week. I will have to check my schedule, to see whats going on then. Tom

Dani you are right assistants are very important part of the team. I started off as CNA>LPN>RN. I have done it all and working in ICU I do it all again.

Anyone can wear a uniform doesn't make them a nurse or any other profession they are dressed up as.

RN here...I think its that we have seen everything. We have seen all body types...had to get over the wierdness of touching other people...women...men doesnt matter they need our help...I think that translates well into an intimate relationship....for me it does anyways. I really dont care about a little gut...hairy backs....having health issues...whatever...its just who you are and we arent turned off by it. Yes I still have preferences but I know that statistically there arent any flawless men in my age group out there.....now if only more men would become nurses and get that in thier heads...

Oh I dated a male nurse....and men who have cared for a sick person in the past...far better lovers in my opinion...they know how to touch you...and are attentive, sensitive, passionate, and strong enough to be gentle with a woman....

oh dear this is making me think stuff.....ok...what were we talking about again?

Yes about that suckle thing, I wish we could change it, the name that is. Think of it from my point of view.
I'm a RN. the difference between RN and LPN. We can delegate. We can give IV meds. We can do nursing orders. Start IV s and other such catherters. The big difference is pay and job security and what fields are open to you.
The good news is there are a lot of good programs for LPN to RN that usually take about a year. My advive is finish the LPN program, rest a few months and get going into the RN program. DON'T STOP.
ya, sorry, I'm a little passionate.
Brian. RN

sorry Brian, you are wrong. I live in Texas, am a Director OfNurses, but when I worked for the military, I started IV's, gave IVpush, did nursing orders, and delegated.
I still delegate, and do nursing orders and start IV's. I make more than most RN's. My LVN skills have brought me further than any RN skills could have.
I have no desire to just do the managerial part of nursing, which is a big part of what RN's do. Still love you guys, and some of my best friends are RN's.

I used to think that nurses were the most wonderful, the most beautiful, and the most caring people in the world. I still think that way, but I look at the INSIDE.

Though I think it is most unfortunate, most nurses I know have had a hard time pushing away from the food trough. The job pressures must be enormous, and many nurses apparently use food as "self-medication." I suspect over-medication might be a bit of a problem.

I long for a day when all nurses look as good on the OUTSIDE as they do on the INSIDE.

You are working in the wrong hospital then hun, because Nurses around here and most opther places get pretty good pay comparably. Unless your talking about a Nursing Assistant. They are the ones that do all the nasty and grose work now-a-days. Tech's, Aid's

Nursing Assistant doing all the work? Yeah, maybe if you can find one. Every time I look for one, they scurry for the nearest exit to escape doing any work. That leaves the RN's to pick up the mess. I wish I worked where you work.
