She is trapped,
They do not allow her to come out,
She tries, But does not succeed,
Each time, She comes closer and closer,
She is trying to be free.
Just below her is Mother Earth,
The clouds are set in their minds,
Today is going to be a cloudy day,
For the sun shall not shine today.
Lo, the sun wishes to come out,
Behind the white and gray clouds,
She does not wish to hide no more,
She makes another push,
But the clouds cleverly cover her once more.
For those on Mother Earth,
They yearn and beg to see the sun,
To be protected warmed by its gleaming rays of light,
Darkness has covered this land for too long,
The sun knows this, She wishes to shine today.
In a final moment, In what seemed an eternity,
The sun in all its majestical strength,
She shines mightily upon the Mother Earth,
The animals, the trees, the even man,
They celebrate the sun's protective sunshine,
Warmth has covered land, there is great joy and celebration.
For the animals it is a blessing,
Now they can go yonder and seek out new places to roam,
For the trees it is a blessing disguise,
Now they can be warmed and grow,
For the time under the shadows has made them cold,
For man, it is a miracle,
For many times, they asked for the sun to shine,
To know whether they are truly alone,
Now they know, For someone special is with them,
For the Lord was graceful and answered man's prayer,
Great celebration has come to Mother Earth.
The sun, the moon and all that dwell on Mother Earth,
Truly a blessing from Heaven, Telling and showing us,
Mother Earth's beauty and we not are far from the Lord.

A son with his mother,
Together walking in the park,
She does not know who he is,
Time, age and disease has come to her,
All she knows is that she is safe with him.
He utters memories to her,
But to her it is story he is telling,
Deep inside he hurts,
He longs for her to remember his name,
But he knows the inevitable.
The memory of the good times,
The memory of the bad times,
This is her gift to him,
The stories she has shared with him,
Now it belongs to him.
A tear slowly descends his cheek,
Longing for her to remember,
In his mind,
There are many words he has left unspoken,
All he can do ask is why?!
He holds her hand gently,
She smiles, And slowly she sees his face,
She pauses, She thinks slowly,
She remembers, She cries. . . .
Her hand goes upon his shoulder,
To comfort him, She sings an old lullabye. . .
. . . .This is his mothers curse. . .
. . . .This is his tragedy. . . .

He sees her each day,
He notices that no one says hello to her,
Why? This is all he can ask, but he gets no answers,
No real answers are given, only that she is different.
He does not understand this answer,
He does not understand how people can be cruel,
To completely ignore another's presence because they are different.
She walks alone,
She walks the halls, No one sees her,
They only see someone different,
Inside she longs for belonging,
She knows that can not happen,
Because everyone sees her different.
Today, she walks the halls,
Someone bumps into her,
All her belongings fall to the floor,
And so did her sense of pride,
She is sad, No one bothers to see her.
But today will be different,
Today he will see her,
From afar he walk towards her,
He helps her pick up her belongings,
She is amazed, Someone has seen her,
Her heart races, She does not know what to do,
A smile begins to be formed upon her face,
A smile begins on his face.
He utters words of welcome and peace to her,
She utters the words of appreciation and her name,
And he does the same.
Friends they become,
Now, evereyone sees her,
But truly, the one she sees is him,
Best friends they are.
Two strangers. . . friends who have not met yet. . .
Two strangers. . . friends who have not said hello to one another yet. . .

Today Janie has decided today is her last day,
Nothing can turn her back now,
She is determined.
Each day Janie questions God in anger,
Why do you make me suffer like this?!?!
What did I do to you?!
I asked for something simple,
But I do not understand why you do not give it to me!
And each day, she receives no answer.
Today Janie has had enough,
She longs for someone to simply love her,
She longs for someone to simply hold her hand,
To caress her soft gentle hair,
She longs for someone to be at home,
To have someone to look forward to,
But the world is too cruel to her.
Janie is average looking,
She wears glasses that over 5 years old,
She is a chubby person with brown eyes,
Her hair is hi-lighted blond with brown hair.
Janie cleans out her desk at work,
No one knows her inner demons that plague her so much,
Longing for simple love,
In the midst of leaving her job,
She walks to her car, she trips and falls,
All her belongings are now on the floor,
She begins to cry,
All she can think is:
"Is this how it is going to end?
Is it really going to end on a sour note?
From afar, an average man comes,
He sees she has fallen, He comes to help her,
He notices this time it is different,
But it does not matter, He does the gentleman thing to do,
To help a lady in distress,
He helps Janie pick up her belongings,
He notices a tear upon her cheek,
Sharply she says thank you and is amazed about his eyes,
She does not know why, But his eyes captivate her.
He is tall, his small hazel eyes and brown hair are neatly placed,
It is obvious that he works in her building because of his badge,
He is a medium build man, with glasses and cleanly shaven.
He notices that the young lady, Janie is troubled,
As any gentleman would do, He asks her if she is okay,
She looks at him with glariing stare as if to say yes, but she says no.
He tells Janie he must wait for a friend to drive him home,
He asks her if she wishes to go to the resturant and wait with him,
She ponders, in what becomes the longest 5 seconds of her life,
She says yes, She figures that she will leave this world on a full stomach.
In what will become 30 minute wait becomes two hours,
Little does Janie know, she is having the time of her life,
She laughs, she smiles and jokes,
At this point she is not thinking about leaving this world,
She concentrates on the gentleman's words and he concentrates on hers.
It is now four hours since they met,
The gentleman nervously asks her if she much obliged to go to dinner with him,
With a humble smile, she accepts, she is going on a date.
Before she leaves, embarrassingly she asks his name,
His name is Robert, Death will have to wait now.
It is now 2 years since they met,
Janie is in love with him and Robert is in love with her,
A full moon night, they are walking in the park,
The moon is shining brightly, They reminisce about that day when they met,
He holds her hand tightly but gently, he reaches into his pocket,
He gets on one knee, She knows what he is about to ask. . . .
But she can not bear him asking but she surrenders to his gallantry,
He asks her the words she prayed for her so many years before,
"Janie, with this ring, I ask you, will you be my wife."
Tears go down her face like a fountain, she holds him tightly,
She releases the pain, the agony the trials and tribulations,
He holds Janie tightly, He gently lifts her happy but weak chin,
They are eye to eye, In a gentle voice, she utters the words, "Yes, I will."
He his kisses her gently upon her soft lips,
He caresses the back of her head gently,
He pulls her closely and rests her head to his shoulder,
A gentle silence comes about,
From afar, She can see a white bird, Heavenly looking,
She notices it, and into the darkness it flies,
As if the Lord was watching this moment,
Two souls, one wounded and the other a nurturing her.
Truly now their great celebration in Heaven and among the Angels,
. . .Love has conquered Death. . .

There she is,
She listens to her sad song,
It does not matter how many times she plays,
It is her song,
The song of her and husband.
A loved one she lost,
He was her first love,
He was her first kiss,
Now he is gone,
Death came and took him without warning,
She does not know why,
She curses Death each day,
How can Death be so cruel?
This is what she asks every day.
Outside her home where she listens each night to her sad song,
She looks upon the sky,
She hopes that maybe, just maybe she will find a star.
You see, her husband was a soldier,
He always told her when they are apart,
To look up on the stars at night,
To look for a special star,
Once she finds it, It shall brightly for her,
And that is him looking down upon her.
She searches, and searches,
But each night she turns up empty,
She knows she has not found that star.
She is desperate, she longs for his gentle touch,
She misses his soothing and calming voice,
The love they shared, A blessing from above.
Upon the sky she looks and in desperation,
She utters words of desperation,
Upon turning her head in submission,
From the corner of her eye she sees a bright light,
She turns, She sees the light, It is the star of her loved one,
Her beloved, A tear of rejoicing descends her cheek,
She is at peace, there is great calm within her mind, body and soul.
And just yonder,
There he is, with an Angel of the Lord,
Protecting her, by her side always,
As he promised her many times,
That he will always be by her side.
And that when it is time. . . .
. . .He will be there waiting for her at the Gates of Heaven. . .

|The search. . . |
A broken heart, cracked, hurting and now it has begun,
Sadness has entered her life,
Her is heart looking, searching and scavenging the Earth,
She looks for that one thing that will complete her,
For it is love that she wishes to have.
For it is love she hears of,
But she shall not know it.
For it is love that is within her grasps,
But she shall not hold it.
For it is love that she seeks,
But she shall not find it.
For it is love that she will kiss her on the cheek,
But she shall not feels its touch.
Outside on her window,
Upon the sky she looks,
She gazes upon the bright stars,
Tear from eye descends slowly,
She prays to that whomever may be up there for love,
For the enchanted love sweeps so many off their feet,
The blinding love that will make one perform wonders.
From over yonder a bright star shines in the Heavens,
For many of the stars among the Heavens shine with such beauty and awe,
Its beauty and nostalgia would brings anyone to their knees,
For it is those who have come before her, Seeking love.
In unison, the stars in the sky feel her pain,
They know, they understand and they see she hurts,
She is longing for that special someone.
In tears she goes to bed,
But little does she know,
Her prayer has set in motion events that she has longed for,
Love shall be within her grasps,
Love she shall know its touch,
The love she seeks, she shall find it.
When she finds love and love finds her,
There will be great rejoicing in the Heavens
And those who have come before her say in a great voice. . .
. . .Your time shall come. . . .

|The skin Im in|
Is delicate like porcelain
Im not as tough as I may seem
Only in my wildest most vivid dream
I can bend enough to break
Im not a fake
I have a heart
Beating black and blue
There are so many things Id love to see
But the day is much too new
I have a mind
By the existance of the obvious
Ive finally cut the puppet strings
That sometimes can confine us
Ill never be a person
Stuck in the same place
Do you dream with that same smile
I see shining on your face?
Do you encapsulate all the colors
You see in a sunset
Have we reached the pinnacle
Our ship has not yet set sail
The skin Im in is comfortable
It fits just right for me
it hides the dreams Im dreaming
So deep inside of me
Girl..no worries..Youll get your writing groove back soon.I was in a bit of a slump for awhile:)I love ya megs!Mwah
