The invisible ink shows up under the black lights. You could draw one and the next day nobody would know it was there even though it would be .

Tramp Stamp (lower back tattoo)...
Beginning in the late 1990s the lower back tattoo became popular especially among young women. Lower back tattoos are often oblong in shape, following the slope of the back on either side of the woman's spine. The lower back tattoo is body decoration with the intent of emphasizing sexual attractiveness. Generally, a lower back tattoo will be designed to emphasize the shape and curvature of the female figure.

What about one of those four foot models that they sell at some car parts places to put on your car when it has a "boo-boo." He could wear it like a sash!

Cycletolive, you'd better hush about that tramp stamp, I know where you live. Just cause someone appreciates art, doesnt need it slandered by that term. There is no such thing, just a dumb person!

Tramp stamp is nothing but a word. They are considered by some to suggest promiscuity and also known as "splattoo," "arse antlers", "ho-tag", Panama City License Plate, "Myrtle Beach Message Board", Slag Tag, and 'dirty girl' tattoo. All just words and they mean nothing really. On a guy I believe a hickey is called a tramp stamp. And some men get lower back tattoos, I don't know why but they do. Anyone that gets one knows what they are called a head of time and can't take offense at the word tramp stamp. If they know a head of time what they are called and they are that worried about it then they shouldn't get one back there. I love em on a woman. I personally find them sexy. A lot of guys do. And I haven't ever come across one woman with a tramp stamp that took offense to it being called that. Several attributes of lower back tattoos have made them popular. While the lower back is not the widest area of the human back, it has abundant space for a large design, and horizontal tattoo designs can be worked easily. Another advantage is that the lower back is less likely to stretch and distort due to minor weight fluctuations, thus reducing the likelihood the tattoo becomes warped and faded. You know the saying... sticks and stones may break your bones but words will never harm me .

Thank You, Whynotu52, thats exactly my point. I have tat's and they are very good, placed perfectly and specially designed and I like them, I take offense to the gender terminology, as you so graciously pointed out. Ok, its done now, point made. Thanks for listening!

According to recent stats, nearly 25% of the American population aged 18 to 50 has a tattoo, out of which almost 20% of the women have a lower back tattoo. It's almost hard to spot a teen without a tribal on the low back these days. Lower back tattoos are very feminine, sensual and sexy in my opinion. They are in a place normally covered by clothing, but easily uncovered. The tattoos themselves draw attention to this fact. We are seeing part of a woman’s body that would normally be covered. There’s something tantalizing and slightly forbidden about a tattoo like that. Which I think is why I think a lot men like them. To get bent out of shape because of what these lower back tattoos are called is just plain crazy.

What has been said that is incorrect? That is what I want to know? If someone is going to claim incorrect info, then please correct it for us .

hey mshenny... I have always said I don't have a low pain tolerance - I have no pain tolerance... but I got my first tat last year and can't wait to get my next. All I have to do is find the right picture and I'm there! I'm not saying it didn't hurt... but it wasn't pain as much as just uncomfortable at first.... and soooo worth it!
