Try living!
What else you got?
You bought
the Lexus,
the three-bedroom, two-garage house,
the holiday in Cancun, but
how fast do you need to get there
when you don't even know where there is?
And what are you doing in that house,
pulling the curtain aside to see
who's at that noisy party next door?
You're just along for the ride
if you don't know that living starts

Best advice I can give you, onelonelymomma, is to lay off end-rhymes altogether. They get you (and others) into artifical, forced-sounding lines, and the rhymes are sort of obvious.

Finger Licken Good
Posted: 10/19/2006 12:18:38 AM
Finger licken good...
Ohh yes...with every single drop...
A taste so devine with it's enticing gravity
Flavor unforgettable...Aroma dancin' in the air...
Bypass heaven's gates to indulge its splendor
This can only be a dream...
For nothing can be this perfect....
Why would Nature dare....
Was it solely for my pleasure
To happen upon this treasure
A "blessing" is a dismal compare...
I breathe in the intoxicating vapors that allow for no thought....
This devilish treat that I enjoy has more than hit the spot...
And what may you ask is this I speak
Of what fabrication do I say....
For unbelievable it is me it is right as rain.....
And if you know not what my tongue now waits to taste again....
It's simply the love given....from my love...with true intent....

moonlit meanderings. in a lovers glance

With this bread, we honour the intertwining of our present with our past, and each of us with each other: husband with wife, parents with children, friend and friend. We who have never suffered the pains of bigotry are entwined with those who are suffering it now or may do so; and all of us with all of those people everywhere who ask for bread and are given a stone; who ask for actual bread or the bread of understanding, of respect, of compassion, and are given stones.

In breaking this bread together we express our appreciation of the earth, which provides for us, and of all those who work respectfully with the products of the earth: the farmers who plant and grow the grain, the millers who grind it, the bakers who turn it into bread.

As we share these loaves let us remember that we all eat of the same human experience, of hope and fear and need and, above all, of love for one another.

So silient as the fog surround
Breathing hinder in the thickness
Chocking till there is no sound
Devouring me whole with quickness

Fog ravenous in my soul
My famished heart's desire
Love rapacious me whole
Soaring in fog, soaring higher

Bubble gum in my hair
I'm stuck to everywhere
Need to make a trip
To hear the barber's snip
Bubble gum in my hair
Now ain't that somethin rare

Walking sticks....
Stocking wicks....
He said....
See head....
She said....
See shed....
Long strike...
Strong like....
Cutting pain....
Putting cane......
Fast pace.....
Past face.....
Fast car....
Cast far......
First blame....
Burst flame.....
Save whales....
Wave sails.....
Saint Peter....
Paint cedar.....
Lost cause.....
Cost laws......
Bell sound....
Cell bound......
(Yeah I know...Makes no sense.....But Ohh Well! At least it was fun....)

You can't fly when your wings and
your legs are broken from being pushed
down the stairs for the third time today
and the neighbours no longer hear
you scream and thump down them
like a crystal vase that shatters
again and again and then
gets glued up with super glue
by yhe doctors and nurses who
turn their heads at his smarmy crap
as he explains that it was an
"unfortunate accident" and that you are
"terribly clumsy" F*** you and your
arsenic words...
bitter poison in my ears as I
tumble down the stairs again...
terribly clumsy fool that I am....

Denial is Your Karma

I'm okay
no pretense
my Spirit unbroken
you had your say
in a short sentence
of words unspoken ...
I feel so misused
pained by your taunt
so well you hid your lie
those words not used
will come back to haunt
till the day you die!

next 'happiness'
