Galloping across the dunes
Free spirited through the sands
Muscles sleek and flexed
Manes flowing back in strands

Heads weaving up and down
Eyes darting to the sides
As they race each other
With their quick and wild strides

Tamed to only Mother Earth
Unbound to fences and laws
Moving about effortlessly
Desert beauty without flaws

That was sure a write to impress
In this life that sets your stage
It’s just too bad, that you’re IQ
Will never surpass your age
So bring it, you tell me
In your ventful release
yet, I’m just here to play
And try to keep the peace

You know what they say,
Blondes sometimes slip,
Or do something a different way,
That people cannot grip,
They have a catagory all their own,
Titled by their hair,
Something that is not outgrown,
That makes others stare,
That's how you can tell,
When a blonde goes oops,
Because they always misspell.

Tides and waves
Are flowing free
Quiet is the night
By the fire by the sea
Crimson red the water bleeds
As the sun begins to melt
Horizon singing hymns
Peace is inner felt

I felt a strange sensation
I knew I had an earwig
I tried to get it out
With a crooked twig
I must have gone in to deep
As the blood drip shows
I only tried to scratch the itch
And ended up pick’ in my nose

hmmm ..operating..lets see

You have a different way about you
The sun sets in your eyes
And rises in my heart
My soul is laid bare and open
Come inside and rest in my heart
Every memory
Thats ever broken you
Will be pieced back together again
Think of it as open heart emotion surgery
Its long over due
Time to operate

OK that was literally a 60 second write from me:)Ive missed you guys.Great writes....and Holly Props for this thread:)Mwah

When the sun goes down
All life exchanges
Nocturnal creatures wake
Causing many deranges
Through the dark
Walks the ghosts
Into your dreams
As deathly hosts

Would I be a fool
To just dive in
Would my heart
Hit concrete
at the bottom of the pool
Or is it filled with life giving water
I want to bathe in it with you
Drink in your smile
The quiet moments when things left unsaid
Are enough
Because our souls
Knew eachother all along:)

Hi yall..a quick 30 sec write from me..Love yall,Kat

In tug -a- war you feel like the rope
In certain situations it's hard to cope
Every minute pulled a different way
You follow the pull never attempting to stay

You experience life on the left and right
When one side gives a hard pull
To the same direction your in flight
Looking for others to make you full

You do whatever is good in the second
Not once do you stop and reckon
Of how it would be to stand firm on one side
You look at yourself and know you lied

You let drama in life pull you around
It is almost like playing the clown
Nobody knows which direction you will go
It's almost like your putting on a show

Never concrete in what you say or do
Doesn't this make you blue
Here today gone tomorrow
Doesn't this bring you sorrow

Good Points
Posted: 8/1/2005 10:22:44 PM
What can distinguish one point from another
To each persons point they are a lover
If it were bad they would keep it inside
They would never let voice give it a ride

If it was worth sharing telling about
Then it being good I have no doubt
As long as the point causes no harm
We have no right to be alarmed

We can not say that the point is bad
Unless we have the experience they had
Everyone holds a seperate belief
And to me that is a true relief

Maybe the question is not bad or good
But what we learn or what we should
Before you say a point is bad
Just remember it could make someone sad

The Impact Of Inferiority
Posted: 8/2/2005 10:54:24 AM
The way she moves from place to spot
keeps me guessin'..what's she got?

I read her words and see her face
what brings this woman to this place?

I'll catch her here, i'll catch her there
ooo an email do I dare?

The light is dim and the day was long
the way she moves...poof, she's gone

absurd word
Posted: 8/2/2005 3:05:35 PM
Heard the word that's so absurd
People that say that must be nerds
Why would you say that if others could hear
They must think they are the only ones near

So if you ever hear the word
That is so absurd to the ear
Just sit down and have a beer
and think to yourself how queer

Tangled in the sheets
Posted: 8/2/2005 5:22:01 PM
first the day's sun was bound to fall
then feast was layed to be enjoyed by all
sippin', tastin, sharin of food
she wasn't wearin' a bustle, how lewd

we took to sittin' and sharin' a word
then noticed not another was heard
i looked to see where the revelers had gone
to no avail just the faint sound of a song

the way I figured we had two choices
follow sound of those distant voices
stay right here and tango in the streets
8am we're tangled in the sheets

an enchanted moment

Under Cover

Under cover it's a warm safe haven
It's cozy comfort in a soft space
When I feel lonley, scared, or erased
I pull the covers up over my face

They are always there to catch my tears
Always there to comfort my fears
It is refreshing to know they never resist
To wrap around me a peace that exsist

Only found in the safe place I often visit
It is a place a retreat that is very exquisite
Please keep your arms around me tight
it is under the cover of your embrace
That I know I have found that safe place

hair [hare]
Posted: 8/3/2005 2:56:07 PM

Elephant stew feeds about 405
some potato, spice and good ol' endive
chop up into bite size pieces
really goes good with all kindsa cheeses

No should you find more guests do arrive
we can modify this for a bit more than 405
simply grab an onion and a pepper if you dare
simply sautee them together
and add just a hare

[I know I modified the word. Couldn't resist]

Give the Original a try would someone plese?

If you want to talk about hair
I should definately share
Talk of our canine friends
And the rules they bend

They come to the groomer on the clock
they just walk in don't even knock
They do not want shorter hair
To them the situation is unfair

They hide in corners try to run
To them this is not a bit fun
If fear they have bite they will
Instincts are the way they deal

Their owners like the grooming salon
If only they could wave a magic wand
Mr. Smith would get a dip and shave
Lets see how well he would behave

Hmm Push.....

The waves crash over me
Bliss and freedom
bright blue and bold
Warmth ,sunlight filters in
I push off the sandy bottom
Making my way back to the surface
Almost like sort of rebirth
I love it here
Swimming in the ocean
So full of mystery
And depth of emotion
As the waves crash over me
Making me clean
Once more :D
