The funniest one I've seen was someone who was an "inglish teacher" and what was worse is the fact they actually genuinely WERE an "inglish teacher" too

Everyone can make typos I guess, and your own typos are the hardest ones to spot whereas everyone elses tend to leap out of the page at you

I had a keyboard once where a couple of the keys would sometimes stick for a short period and anything you typed during that period didnt appear

So for months I had that I was an "arm installer" on my profile before someone pointed it out lol

That wasnt because I cant spell "alarm" I just hadnt noticed the typo

Actually it would to some extent depend on the profession

I know a totally excellent carpenter, a carpet fitter and a couple of plumbers who arent dyslexic but are pretty crap with the written word and have hardly any qualifications

So they would all be quite likely to spell practically anything incorrectly but are really good at their prosepective trades

So its not THAT unlikely that someone could do a job but not be brilliant at spelling that profession really as spelling isnt exactly the cornerstone of quite a few jobs, but their skill and ability to do the job is

Today im an excelologist, powerpointologist and accessologist, whilst employing my skills in keyboardology and opticalpointingdeviceology.

Want a great sounding job title?

Just add "ologist" to any word you can think of :p

In all seriousness, I can't spell my profession, I can't even whisper it..... I'd have to kill you :(

There is a lot of different types of engineers though so maybe they do it to differentiate themselves lol

An acoustic engineer could spell it as "enginear" as that would be far more detailed

And one that finds faults could be an enginhere

It would make things much simpler :)
