Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

I agree with your decision and how you handled it. Let me stress though, for those other people in similar situations that he must understand why.

constanly talking about the ex is wrong , negative or positive , ythe date should be about both of you , not a third party , he is probably not over it , still loves and hurt .

I've been on the receiving side of this and I've come to the conclusion when "we" is used rather than "the ex" the person is still mentally in the relationship ("we"). When they begin to NOT speak of the "we" or simply not speak on the past relationship at all, they have begun to move on. But be aware of the "we"...they are still in that relationship...and NOT with you.
