Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

I would rather not get an electronic greeting card. As nice as some of them are, most of those card sites are loaded with things that will corrupt your computer...I would probably just delete it without opening it

a greeting card for the first message? ummm, are you talking about a cyber card? i never actually had anyone send me a cyber card for a first message but was flirting back and forth with someone with the apps in facebook....that was fun. here i am being flirted with by some guy that lives 7+ hours away from me, living in canada and me in the states....it started out great but then he backed off and hid his profile because he didn't want to get too many flirts from other people.....now it's just no fun at all.

Right on, J-me. I've seen card-notices that require you to go to a website and enter your e-mail addy. That is a very foolish thing to do. Besides, as you may not have known before now, you can right-click on any picture on the Net, save into a folder, and send it direct.

I would report it as spam.
