congratulations Rosie!
so nice to see you have your own place to call home. Now I have another calm place to visit. I'll be back later with some dribble to read. Love ya sweety.

ok...my post above didn't read right. I meant "my" dribble, not someone elses writing. My coffee wasn't strong enough this morning!
so many tales of roses,
and songs are written too,
adoring the colorful flower
in red, white, yellow, and blue.
The symbolic gesture of feelings
no matter what they are
only one Rose stands out
that's you Rose...our shining star!

There once was a tart named Rose
She gets around as everyone knows
drops a petal here and there
like so much sexy underwear
leaving us aglow in her rainbows
Now your writes have got a proper depository
where we all can convene to hear your story
but you could not call it home
without a limerick poem
cause I know that it's a favorite category
your words reflect your sweetness, no refute
sometimes a bit more saucy but always cute
so far here it's tame
and I won't muddy your name
but hope you'll still visit threads of ill repute
A tranquil place here, not a house of sin
but the door was open so look what the cat dragged in
I'll try to be nice
but I know you like spice
so don't be surprised if I flash a little skin
Love ya, Rosie, baby. Hope you had a great weekend!

I wanted to say that I'm happy
to see that you started this thread
The words that you write
show great insight
And the things that you say needed said
Your kindness and grace are amazing
This is something that everyone knows
No one else here compares
To a blossom so rare
As a Rose is a Rose is a Rose

The purple clusters of
Dusty concord grapes
Hung from the vines that
Were straining under the weight.
I could feel the relief
With each cluster I picked,
I felt the dirt settle
Under my bare feet.

Painted canvass plain!
What a freedom , felt not in a while!
Stroking freely, with mixed colours smile!
Created painting perhaps unorthadox
Pleased I with expression called 'Fox'!
Painted canvass with expression suppose!
Inspired colours by the gardens of rose!
More colours and most free to explore
Graced found on rose garden door.
(Truly, Rose: I painted a picture with oils tonight....haven't done so in a decade! Thanks for inspiration! You rock!!!)

haven't been here very long
yet your heart comes through so strong
a great loving heart spreading love to all
so thanking you for your light you shine
it's always a gift to read your lines
and here, now, your wild rose vine
can climb as high as it needs to go
inspiring all to smile and join you
and your new photos are beautiful!

a mountain would be intense
a symbol of recompense
for the cloister-fvck of the city
and the pitiful needing more pity
a pinnacled precipice pristine
oe'r a valley serene with green
flinty rocks faulted into the air
displacing eagles without a care

thought lost in living faster than noticed
even the moment is seen only in the rear view mirror
hard to be together when apart is so easy
harder yet to feel the loss
( turning away before we remember)
who turned away
feeling sometimes drives out of turn
leaving all the other passengers to scream
sometimes that noise is music...to someone else
listening to your own stories
makes it easier to edit ,while theres still time
time to share what should be
choosing to be better is the only choice
that will move others to occasionally stir your ashes
before they blow away

my heart just skipped a beat
for out of the corner of my eye
a young deer just walked by
slowly sniffing and nibbling
the fresh wet grass
in the gentle rain
autumn scene mirroring the beauty
of this most graceful being.....
i slowly creep to the window
sensing another might follow
feeling like my cats
when they're on the prowl.....
just as i'm thinking to stop
another skip of my heart
for a second young deer comes
walking quicker in the rain
right across my backyard again.....
my spirits lift with happiness
feeling this gift is a wonderful omen
so i offer it here on your thread
this vision of deer such an inspiration
as so many do here, you beautiful women!

in reflection of the world today
a few things that i'd care to say
bout this little blue dot,out in space
if not taken care of,not even one trace
there's many our gone now, will not come again
some deadly to man and some we called friend
the condors were one, almost gone like the rest
thinking in the clouds, soaring ,just being thier best
one comes to mind,a beauty named nancy
seems she was always lost in thought or flight of fancy

Just a thought
to start the day,
a mental fart
that took flight,
in your fancy,
shaky and turbulent,
hooked on the bean,
java that is!
wake my mind
with a quick injection
from the carafe,
restoring these archaic bones
to, at least, artifact state,
soon to be dancing
upon my discovery
of flight of fancy.

This place is magic Rose, if I may post it in your home?
I know a place that heaven forgot to take back
when it closed its doors to all the sinners in the world
hot waterfall splashing into a cool creek
gives a sensual primal shower
while tiny fish kiss my toes
everyone is smiling and playing like children
in the bright desert sun, as Eve in the garden did
before she knew how to cry her sorrow
from hot pools to swim in cool water
choosing the temperature depending on my mood
and my company
the trees will welcome me
offering soft white sand to stretch out on
and a whispering green canopy for my shelter
a few miles of mountain road
and I'm there

I just have a few minuets Rose as I'm staying with my family right now. I didn't know you were soon to have your second grandchild. How wonderful, you sound as happy (thrilled) as I am.
This is my only son but I love his wife, now my daughter, too. I get a new girl, already have my beautiful Emily. God bless us all!!!

What a warrior yearns for is seldom understood.
And even the warrior cries poetry.
Give I pray thee the warrior love.
And indeed a warrior will love in return.

[Internally Beautiful Woman]
Though used and abused,
I pardon those sins!
Though lustful, self-destructive and rebellious
I grant to thee immunity:
Indemnity required to return to me.
Here I await this illusion.
Who refrains from the rain!
Especially when the rain is so rich in pleasure-ous pains.
I dance to this tune of matrimony!
Utterly disdained for this loyalty:
Utterly disdained, by my goddess of love!

Teach Your Children my fav!
with Crazy Horse...it was Cinnamon Girl,
then, of course, Harvest Moon!
He is still one of my favorite musicians.
