Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

take the money and give him a receipt, and explain that if he wants rights then he still needs to be consistant and will need to be healthy one time charity does not count for all the drama he could cause.

OK, here's the deal, some people do change so assuming that he is on the up and up, he may merely want to really give it to you as a gift, which is nice to see. I still buy my nieces and nephews gifts but it is more fun watching them opening them than just shipping a box.

He could have some type of agenda so as Carolann and others have suggested, take someone with you and if he does offer it, take it gracefully and have some additional fun with your daughter. Even if this is a one time deal I would think it signifies that at least a part of him feels like a sh!t because of how he acts.

I wouldn't feel funny about it either, he cannot be kind because he is your ex? Who knows, you let him offer the olive branch, maybe he will step up and be a better dad.
