One of my erotic fantasies (other than intercourse) is for a beautiful woman listening to my heart & lungs with a stethoscope. The ideal for this would be for my shirt to be off while she is placing her cold stethoscope on various places on my chect & back & having me take deep breaths.

My question is; what would be a good way to lay this on someone I'm dating? If I'm dating a nurse for example; what would be a good way to get her to listen to my chest? I am asthmatic; so maybe I could tell her I've been wheezing a little bit & wouldn't mind if she made sure my breathing was okay. Or maybe I could say that my heartbeat has felt a little funny.

I would especially welcome comments from female medical professionals as to what would be a good way to approach this.

OP if you google it, you can find forums about such a subject. Guys who like to listen to women's heartbreats and vice versa. They even have pictures of what the heart looks like and such.

Here you go: heartbeatbabes dot com

Don't have a heart attack now.

I never thought of that aspect of it. I guess it would be deceptive to tell her my asthma was acting up since she most likely would take it seriously & not know that I'm trying to set her up to do me a sexual favor. It could come back to haunt me. Maybe I could just ask her if she'd like to hear how she makes my heart skip a beat. Quamila, have you ever listened to a man's chest who you were intimate with?

OP- Look up "Erotic Clinic" and read the forums on it. I'm sure this interest doesn't stop at just a stethoscope for you. I think there is more to it.

LOL!! OP... don't deceive her, be honest. Even this last one isn't entirely honest...

Maybe I could just ask her if she'd like to hear how she makes my heart skip a beat.

Just tell her the truth... that the thought of her using her stethascope on you makes you incredibly aroused and would she consider doing it...

I'd be seriously pissed if I were tricked into it.

Namrael,

Just for the record; I do have a stethoscope collection & I don't restrict myself to dating medical professionals. I actually did go on one date with a nurse several years ago & the word stethoscope never came up in any of our conversations. (I just didn't want to scare her away.) As far as using someone's profession to indulge my fetish; a person doesn't have to be a medical professional to know how to use a stethoscope. Come to think of it; maybe a non medical professional would be better since using a stethoscope wouldn't remind her of work & maybe she'd be more likely to go for it.

On one last note; I really don't mind some of the criticism even when it seems harsh at times. It's helping me avoid making mistakes & will help me question what my motives really are for wanting to be in a particular relationship.

I hate to rip apart the porno fascination that everyone has with nurses, our jobs are NOT glamorous, there is nothing sexual between a nurse and a patient EVER!!!! Really do you want to know what my 17 hour shift consists of? Would you really want to hear where my stethosope has been, and has been used to listen to? It's used for a more than just hearts and lungs!

I don't think anyone would belittle a health care workers job or not take what you do for a living seriously. I watched my father die recently in intensive care and I saw the caring and work that those nurses did. There is nothing sexy about caring for those who are gravely ill and quite frankly I couldn't do it.
Surprisingly enough there are actually a lot of health care workers who are active in the fetish and bdsm lifestyle. An intelligent person can distinguish the difference between a real health issue being dealt with and their fetish or fantasies. Someone who gets turned on playing doctor and patient still should behave respectfully and appropriately in a real life medical setting and save their emotions for a partner who is into the same behind closed doors. The OP trying to trick a health care worker into satisfying him is using her and she has not consented to his fantasy. That is wrong - He needs to grow a pair, and tell her exactly what his desires are and give her the opportunity to decide if she wants to be a part of that or not.

.......and what short uniforms? They all wear scrubs now, not cheap halloween costumes.

I am a nurse and I also enjoy having a woman listen to my chest with a stethoscope, to me it's a turn-on. But I am able to keep the personal and professional lives separate and apart. When I am at work, there is no other interest beyond caring for my patients. Away from work in an intimate setting, it is an activity of pleasure and enjoyment (but only if the other person enjoys it, too). I would not have any trouble bringing this subject up to the woman that I would be involved with, as I see it as completely harmless but yet erotic. And I would only broach this subject after a period of dating and the relationship moved on to the next level. If that person did not like it or found it to be repulsive, I would not push that person into doing something she did not feel comfortable with and let the subject drop right there. But if she was receptive to it, it adds another dimension to intimacy. There is something wonderful about how one's heart sounds when it reacts when in the presence of that special someone. We have all heard the cliche about "how she makes my heart flutter", well, this is a way to actually find out if it's true or not! What I'm saying is, there is nothing wrong or strange about this type of interest and/or fetish. It can add a wonderful element to a relationship when both parties participate.
