I'm sure some of you have seen Zuzanna's YouTube videos if you haven't visited her site. She's in incredible shape and I was considering trying out some of her routines rather than splitting up my cardio and weights. Has anyone tried them? Are there any you prefer over the others?
This is her site:

Yeah... I've seen some of her vids on youtube.
For the most part I believe in keeping cardio and weights separate. For the most part. But throwing in something like complexes and mixing it up once in a while can be beneficial.

LOL...I know. She's killer.
I like the concept of her workouts. They're very quick, varied and require a lot of stamina. Apparently the workouts on her site are the only type of training she does.

Nope, never heard of her before you posted the link.

She certainly is in great shape, she is very fortunate to have the right kind of genetics and plastic surgeon that allowed her to look that way, as to the workout helping I am sure there is some help but I would say she would look pretty much the same way with any type of complete fitness plan.
Has anyone tried them? Are there any you prefer over the others?
Already do some things similar.
I prefer what ever kicks my ass the most.
Bodyrock = Fitness Porn
OP - Would you be as impressed with the exercises if it was just an average looking person doing them?
Posted: 11/22/2009 3:40:08 PM
No, I wouldn't. I'm one of those people who very rarely takes advice from people who don't look like they know what they're talking about. They either need to be in great shape or have made significant gains. Is it possible for someone to be in terrible shape and know a lot about fitness? Sure. I just think it would be odd for someone to be that well versed but have no interest in applying it to themselves, so it seems more likely that it just doesn't work for them.

Agree it would be the exception more than the rule.
So she has got the technique down to get the killer body and the accent makes me want go out and buy a Volvo, but as most know, fitness only plays a role and diet is just as if not more important to achieve that look and maybe even some chemicals tossed and of course gentics.
It seems though there is one thing she is not so good at though, paying the bills with her web hosting company.
When I go to the page I get this message.

I see they are back up now, must have been a temp issue, maybe just got slammed with hits and knocked them down.

So, I've actually been trying these workouts and I'm LOVING them. I find it hard to fit workouts in when I'm working so these are perfect as they're all in the 15-30 minute range. You can always add or remove sets as well as increase rest time (she normally doesn't include any) if you feel so inclined. For the women out there who are crunched for time, I'd definitely recommend it!

That chick is wicked hot!
Her workouts are insane too, I mean, wow, talk about taking it to another completely different level.

They aren't her routines. She is just another certified trainer following a program by BodyRock.
Posted: 1/4/2010 11:48:43 AM
^ Really? Who is "Bodyrock," then? I thought the company was owned/run by her and her husband, Frederick.
Posted: 1/4/2010 3:23:02 PM
^^ google Susana Spears
Posted: 1/5/2010 3:16:18 AM
^ Well I already knew she has done porn but didn't find anything to suggest that the bodyrock.tv site is owned/run by somebody else. If you did, please link.
Posted: 1/5/2010 4:39:08 AM
So, you are going to tell me that BodyRock gave her that body? Let's see ... did someone say genetics? Why would I take a porn star serious about health and nutrition?
Posted: 1/5/2010 5:06:08 AM
^ Of course genetics has something to do with it, but when DOESN'T it? She obviously has put in some very hard work to look like that---her midsection cuts are phenomenal, and she has a stunning balance of slimness and muscularity...looks both lean and strong, still feminine not bulky and mannish like the typical female bodybuilder.
I don't see how her being a porn star necessarily disqualifies her from being much more knowledgeable about working out and nutrition than most people.
The proof is in those workouts, and in her flawless physique (well, "flawless" minus the implants).
Having lived in the Czech Republic for most of the 90s, I can also tell you that the majority of Czech women are naturally slim, but most of them are what is known as "skinny-fat" because they don't exercise and if they do, they won't do serious strength training out of a misguided fear of "bulking up." Susana clearly does not have that problem.

I may incur the wrath of some of you here but, although she is cute and well-proportioned, I don't find she's that extraordinary.
I doubt it takes a lot of genetic advantages to be lean and have some shape.
Everybody won't be as cute, but many if not most can get the fat off (except the minimal vital one!) and have a lean, firm body.

She's not a runner, so she doesn't have sculpted calves.
Not that I'm complaining, of course...

I like staying power and history in the fitness field. Just me. I'm not one for fads. Its my opinion and I am entitled to it. I don't care for her as a "fitness guru".

That is why I believe that -
Bodyrock = Fitness Porn
and nothing more.

I have no idea what her credentials are and despite not knowing that she did porn, it really doesn't phase me. All I know is that her workouts are a lot of fun. They're nice and quick when you're pressed for time and they're adaptable. I'd far rather do something like this than interval training on a treadmill. If fun and effective=fitness porn, so be it. I even have my class doing it and they LOVE the routines. I figure the routines must be fun if 6 and 7 year olds keep asking for them...they're not always that easy to please.

Agreed, as long as it works it's ok.
And interval training on a treadmill...yuck..I don't like running a treadmill too much, to begin with..

Nothing wrong with a little fitness porn now and again, heh.
Her workouts are excellent, though. I will start doing them in a few months when it's 125 degrees and I can't run outside. Hate hate hate cardio machines!

I have incorporated some of the stuff from the site into my routines.
I just wonder if people would still feel the same about the workouts if it was an ave. sized female sans boob implants and ripped jeans.
