I've got a google G1 phone thats runs on the android system & POF was pre set on it. Try opening ur browser>menu>bookmarks & it might be there along with other websites/pages either pre set or the one's u have bookmarked urself. Failing that just open up a browser window, google POF & then bookmark it 4 future use. Simples! Have fun!!

I have a Motorola CliqXT..can't log onto POF.
Tried via the internet from my company blackberry..same thing.

Says my internet security settings are wrong..they aren't.

I was able to access POF prior to the crash of a few weeks ago...can't now.

Pof does not come pre bookmarked on Android, your phone was either used or refurbished. Besides you can bookmark any site, that doesn't justify not making an app for android. Especially when its open source, and when there is an app for iPhone which had to go through Apple for approval since it is proprietary.

I would like to see a POF app for Android. Has this thread got the attention of the pof team yet?

Its kinda ridict how long this is taking for an android app consider android ooutsales iphone but large amounts. Just look it up. We know the iphone apple fanboys will say well thats cause there is like 30 android phones and only 4 appple phones but still. It outsales it and its a much better operating system. The pof site kinda as a mobile version but its still not good. It kinda shocks me. That a lesser sites(ok and zoosk) with wayy less users and popularity have android and iphone apps before pofs who claims millions of users a day...?

Millions of users maybe but two staff/employees that I know of. One concentrating mostly on customer service/support issues. Admin wrote all or most of the code for this site is the way I understand it.

Admin picks and chooses the enhancements to use his time developing, to benefit the widest range of users or those that just seem to interest him in particular. You just never know what is going to strike his fancy.

Perhaps he will see this thread and consider the Android app. I would not hold my breath waiting. It may take a while although I do see where it might peak his interest in the future perhaps.

i think they are more worried about spending their millions of dollars on the google adsense revenue this website generates then making an android app that is going to be limited in the amount of ads it displays on a small handheld

I used the POF mobile to log on POF on my android and all it does is go to mail. I try on google to just go to the regular site and it keeps coming up with mobile with user name and password... How do I get rid of it?

My lg ally android works fine accessing pof. I'm even posting
This from it.

I have the forums bookmarked in my browser. Can see my profile
And post.

I suggest you bookmark forums . Plentyof fish . Com. You can
Access your mail and profile from the forums at the top.

An app would be nice but I don't see it happening.

I took a look at the app now offered
for android.

It's not getting very many good reviews.

If anyone has downloaded it I am curious to
hear thier opinions here.

I just loaded it on my phone. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I'm sure it will get better as it progresses.
They just now need to link these forums to it.

I downloaded it, and it seems to work ok, but it changes some settings somewhere because my regular screen on my laptop works no more.
Noboby said it was one or the other! I want both.

The Android application has just received a new update and I think it now looks very funky.
I like the new icons and it seems a bit more responsive.
