Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

When he says...Page 1 of 1
"He puts his pants on, one leg at a time, just like me!"

How does he know?

HOW DOES HE KNOW???!!!!?????

What ELSE do people say every day that sounds VERY creepy when you actually listen to them?

This was from the morning Football Review show today. Apparently, LOTS of people don't know that SOME of us actually pay attention to what they say.

There's more than one way to skin a cat.

Now, I don't know more than one way. I don't even want to try to imagine all the other ways. I can't imagine how this little gem entered the common lexicon.

"This experience/product/service is second to none!!!"

Why would I make an effort to acquire something that isn't as good as having nothing?

yeah ... about that "there's more than one way to skin a cat" ...

and the other charming one: "kill two birds with one stone" ...

both gross me out to the max ... I usually just look confused and say, "but why would you want to do that?"

then the person who said which ever idiom ... (ARE they idioms?) ... accuses me of being too literal ... or too liberal ...
