As anyone seen this show on AMC, if so what do you think of it?

I just watched the marathon today of the first season and after watching it 6 hours lol, I was hooked. If you like Zombie or horror films this show is def worth a look if you haven't seen it yet.

Really enjoyed the first season even if it was only 6 episodes, looking forward to the new season. Another good Zombie mini-series was Dead Set, a british horror take on Big brother.

Who do you guys think shot his son? I have some ideas maybe it was the brother that sawed his hand off. Just came as a shock to see his son getting shot.

Steel, you may not be aware of it, but the series is based on a comic book. (Take that, comic haters!) Check your local library for issues.

I know full well, who shot him, but I ain't tellin. It isn't who you think.

It's a wonderful series. I couldn't believe it when I heard they were doing it, but AMC doesn't do half baked shows.

Extremely well done, and worth watching, even if you don't like Zombie movies. The interpersonal dynamics are great.

"Fido", and "Shaun of the Dead" were two of my favorite humourous zombie films. Rodriguez' "Planet Terror" was a hoot.

You'd enjoy this, EP. Well written and well acted.

One issue I have with last seasons finale' (Which ISN'T in the books, for the purists among us), is the scenes at the CDC.

Here the group is, low on ammo, weapons, and reliable transportation, and they totally ignore the plethora of military weapons laying on the ground around the CDC, and a whole bunch of very reliable, go almost anywhere, diesel powered Humvees. Now, I spent far too much time in Hummers, and they suck for comfort, but they ARE very reliable, and much better than a beat up RV for cross country travel. Very glaring oversight.

Yeah This is way better than a lot of the generic crap SyFy puts on there network. You want to ruin a horror series, put it on Syfy. LOL Some of their TV shows and made for TV movies are so generic, it's like they throw any crap on there.

It's in my Netflix queue, just haven't gotten to it yet. The premise shows potential.

Having been a huge fan of the graphic novels, this was one comic book that I hope got turned into a movie. After watching the first season, I realised that a television show is the only way this would work, and I'm really glad that it was AMC that picked it up, cause no other television company could have done it justice. Anyone who hasn't watched this show, needs to watch at least the first 2 episodes, and I bet you're hooked.

Season 2 started last Sunday and the premier certainly didn't disappoint. Only downside to this show, is having to wait a week for each new episode.

Just watched the first episode of the first season, and I had to keep reminding myself that people are stupid because the writers write them stupid. Let's see... I can siphon the gas out of the truck and go into the city, or better yet, I can hold my nose and go in the house and get the truck keys, or I can take the horse that has a top speed of maybe 20 mph as a sacrifice to the zombies.. Hmmm steel or flesh... Decisions decisions.

Does anybody know what episode the guy finds out that his partner is nailing his wife? And did they have that going the whole time?

He doesn't know that his best friend had sexual relations with his wife while he was is in the hospitol yet.

No only when his best friend thought that he was dead when the hospitol got overtaken by zombies which he told his best friends wife that is when they started having sexual relations with each other. Since her husband was found alive she stopped having sexual relations with her husbands best friend.

All three are great. Planet Terror is great as the Grindhouse double-feauture with Death Proof with the fake trailers.

Other good recent zombie flicks Zombieland, Dead Snow, Rammbock: Berlin Undead, and brand new- The Dead.

I saw who shot his son last night.

Started watching Season 2 on amc.com last night. I got a bad feeling about where some of the stuff is going though..

The wife and Andrea are gonna end up in a cat fight over gets to bang Shane.. And Rick will take off with his kid..

Kind of a low bodycount in episode two. We need to see more dead zombies.

I wonder what happened to that little girl.

Looks like Otis wasn't killed by Zombies after all. This is starting to look real good. Seems to me that Shane is starting to take on a jekyll and hyde type of mentality.

I think the zombies like their dinner alive and twitching. If he pops Otis in the head, the zombies might pass right on by. In a way, Shane wasn't really wrong. It's a different moral landscape. Shane's responsibility to the boy and the rest of his group supercedes pre-zombie world morality.

Ah ooooh looks like someone is preggy with Shanes kid. Brings a whole new twist to that storyline, just when you thought that storyline ended it comes roaring back.

WHY did that deputy sheriff shoot Otis in the leg and then let him get eaten alive?

Simply to provide bait for the zombies to slow them down so Shane could get some distance and make it back alive for Carl.

why not a head shot?

Perhaps zombies only go after living flesh. There have been corpses littering around through the series that have gone uneaten. Probably a good indication that the zombies only go for those who are still breathing. Shooting Otis in the head would have only left Shane as the tempting meal for the zombies.
