Ha ha, I though I would be the only one to like Barry Manalow's music.

I saw him in concert years ago. He was fab.
So, yes, Barry Manalow would be my guilty pleasure....Oh and Westlife. :)

Oh dear - I quite like Roger Miller & Willie Nelson, which is akin to heresy from a confirmed reggae muso......

Lightstar - can i add Gordon Lightfoot ?? - from another reggae muso ......

Why should music be a guilty pleasure?

"oh I shouldn't like this, what would my friends think? They might disown me!!!!"

Non-sense, it ain't a popularity contest, it ain't high school, I say just listen to whatever the hell you like.

I have no "guilty" pleasures when it comes to music. I like what I like (which is practically everything, to be honest), and I really don't care what people think about that. It makes for a lot of fun when people try and embarrass me by teasing me for liking, say, Jedward... while I just sit there completely unbothered.

Tee hee :P

Loads of supposedly 'embarassing' music on here, but again i'm with Strider et al...If you feel it, don't worry what others think, music is eternal & touches deep down.."which is nice''
Ex DJ & i used to carry the most diverse types from many an era, just because there would be people who would say "I don't suppose you've got?..."It had the power to make someone's night.
I love ELO, so Livin' Thing is a defo yes; Bee Gees; Celine Dion; The Big O..and a bit of Roy Orbison :~)
Nutbush..that was more about the embarassing dancing..same to Quo..when i had hair to thrash about haha
I saw that Westlife had 14 number ones & only, 1 outside of the top 5 of their singles~~added one of theirs on FB once and got slated by my mates..yerr whatever lol
LOADS..and yes..Country!

Lately, I've been digging Charlie Rich ..... the Sun, Smash, and late 60's pop eras.

Now, you're all going to be quite envious of me - I work as a presenter at our local on-line radio station and every week I play anything I like from the 50's, 60's or 70's. It's great - and because I'm 'old' I seem to have more to choose from than the younger DJ's. Only songs we can't play are those of Gary Glitter and his Band - and I so loved his music at the time. I s'pose it might be on Youtube.

Anyway, someone mentioned Max Bygraves on the first page and I will be playing 'Tulips from Amsterdam' and 'You Need Hands' next Friday and I'll dedicate them to you lot!!

My own secret playlist is a compilation with Agnetha Faltskog (blond in Abba) and a whole lotta 70's sounds which I listen to when I'm doing the ironing.

I must admit i do like ABBA now but not when they were popular from the 70's but did buy Mamma Mia on 7" when it came out. I did go and see the show Mamma Mia in Oct 2004 when on holiday in Vegas and was singing along also.LoL.

Mine is probably the Safety Dance by Men without hats. I always have to dance to it on the dance floor. Also I do like a bit of ABBA they are a decent band just very uncool.

I'm listening to 'Mister Mister - These broken wings' because I heard it on Vice City... shhhssss! I also have a re-occurring nightmare of listening to the Nolan's greatest hits at full wack and having the earphones suddenly yanked out at a public place like a cafe or library (#^.^#)

'At Worst-The Best of Boy George and The Culture Club'. One of the best voices to grace the airwaves.
'Pop', by Erasure.
