Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

Is POF aware mobile user distances is unreliable?
To test it I've picked one user, looked at their distance, logged out and back in again, and looked again.
In 1 minute this user has been 11k away, <500m and almost everything in-between.

Anyone know what's wrong?

They should just set it up by the city you load your zip code in. Probably would be a lot easier to script. Instead of figuring the distance from which a user uses to search for. Because honestly big cities have a lot more ppl and loading that zip code brings up a lot more ppl compared to loading the country zip code and very little around.
