Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

Plentyoffish dating forums are a place to meet singles and get dating advice or share dating experiences etc. Hopefully you will all have fun meeting singles and try out this online dating thing... Remember that we are the largest free online dating service, so you will never have to pay a dime to meet your soulmate.

Guys shouldn't be on the hook for child support in all cases [Thread Locked for Lack of Content]Page 1 of 1
In my state, Massachusetts, all a guy has to do is live with a woman with children by one or more other men, for a brief time, and then a judge will find him liable to pay many years of child support if they break up. I think that the man should only have to pay child support in two cases- If they are his biological children, as documented by a paternity test, or if they were married for some period of time.

Don't post such misinformation and half truths again, just to stir things up. If you're going to post stuff like this post facts and reference the relevant statutes and regulations. You're doing nothing but trying to start a gender bashing thread and if you don't know better, you should.
