some of my favorites are: Auudition, Candyman, Jacobs Ladder, and Bram Stokers Dracula

I love the Evil Dead trilogy, but I've never considered them zombie films.

Dead Alive is great, but only if it's the totally uncut version going by its original title Brain Dead.

My personal favorite zombie film is George Romero's Dawn Of The Dead, followed by Night Of The Living Dead.

Bewilderingly enough The Exorcist wasn't mentioned nor The Descent or Anti-Christ.
Honourable mentions go to the original Omen, Nosferatu, Frankenstein, Vampyr, Freaks, The Wicker man, Straw Dogs, The texas chainvsaw massacre

I just recently rewatched The Stepford Wives. Great movie.

One of my newer Halloween horror viewing traditions is the excellent anthology Trick r Treat...I think it captures the Halloween spirit(even more so than Carpenter's Halloween)

you my man, have committed blasphemy, and we have similar taste. Normally I like to include Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween 3, Night of the Demons Creep show 1 and 2, Fright Night films, Scream 1 and 2 in my Halloween day viewing sessions, Trick r Treat is okay but I can't watch that over and over like the other ones.

No, blasphemy would be if I said Zombie's version of Halloween was better than Carpenter's. haha Don't get me wrong, I love Carpenter's film, also love parts 2, 3, and 4.

Night Of The Demons is great, the remake is horrendous. Night Of The Demons 2 was decent, haven't seen the 3rd.

Love Creepshow 1 and 2...part 3 on the other hand? Wow, that was bad.

Enjoyed the first Nightmare on Elm Street. Thought it was quite original.

The following ones, I thought, were a little schlocky.

No, blasphemy would be if I said Zombie's version of Halloween was better than Carpenter's. haha Don't get me wrong, I love Carpenter's film, also love parts 2, 3, and 4. Believe it or not I have had arguments where people claimed Zombies was better. Zombie basically turned Mike into Jason.

Night Of The Demons is great, the remake is horrendous. Night Of The Demons 2 was decent, haven't seen the 3rd.

Love Creepshow 1 and 2...part 3 on the other hand? Wow, that was bad.

5 and 6(I know everyone hates this one) I kinda like it Mike was pissed in that one. Night of the demons 2 is okay and the third was bad(not even so bad it good bad, but sucks bad)

I don't count Creepshow 3, because none of the people involved with the other had anything to do with it, I think some dudes just made some kid of student film and attached the name Creepshow to it. the production value sucked.

You should listen to the commentaries on those. It's pretty cool and creepy how Wes Craven got the idea's for the film. Actually one of my old professors worked as a associate producer on that film, she said no one that Depp would be a star they thought the other guy would be.

I like all of them they all belong in the universe even the cheesy ones and tv. show.
