Just read today that after a Long Illness former drummer Phil "Philthy Animal" Taylor has died aged 61.
With a distinctive double bass drum on the likes of Overkill which created a new genre.
Any fans out there? I do like Motorhead and others myself.

Motorhead is a great band. One of the better live shows that I have attended.

A cool boyfriend took me to a Motorhead concert probably 20 years ago.
He thankfully gave me foam earplugs before the show. That was SO SWEET of him! His name was Andy and I miss him.
After awhile I had to to take a break because it was really loud. Andy took me to a great dinner before the concert, too.

Laidbackguy, I think you missed out the 1 before the 5 LoL. There is a Motorhead album coming out in November of them doing cover versions called "Covers" and 1 of the tracks you can listen to and view is David Bowie's "Hero's".
