Happy New YearPage 1 of 1
To all, wishing a happy new year and nothing but the best for 2016, especially since we get an extra day of it. The way I'm looking at it, I get an extra day to do laundry. Every little bit helps.

Happy New Year! I resolve to procrastinate about any resolutions I may now or may in the future even think about.

vvv
"Jimmies on my chocolate sundae, or whipped cream?"

I'd halt the decision making problem by using both!

Happy new year to every one.

Realize a few things. If there's something in your life that you do not like and are tired of it, you can change it. Start by doing things differently, be willing to get out of your comfort zone. Realize that change only happens when you approach it from a positive point of view and you build on those objectives.

My yearly resolution. Makes all other problems much easier to resolve, e.g. "Jimmies on my chocolate sundae, or whipped cream?"

Hope everyone, and I do mean everyone, has a great start to the New Year. Even better, would be a full year of smiles, giggles and laughs. Here's hoping.

One of my resolutions this year is to drink more. I, obviously haven't been drinking enough. Evidence of such, is me being right here, right now, typing away, like a fool.

It is uncharacteristically sunny here today so I went for a walk around the island (ok, not ALL the way around the perimeter but quite a ways). This is the kind of place people waive as they drive past or say 'hi' when walking, or the road is blocked by people just stopped to have a chat. Except when trying to get to the ferry it's not a big deal; we're on island time.

Since we're all too old to stay awake until midnight, the community game night (potluck & BYOB) starts at 4pm. Unfortunately my smack talk is a bit rusty. Ah, well, my friends know this about me and let me play anyway.

Hope everyone has a safe and sane evening too. See you tomorrow - same bat time, same bat channel.

Happy New Year to all of my friends here in the forums. And yes, to all of the rest of you too! (smile)

Anyone have any good New Year's Resolutions? My one and only resolution is to learn C&W dancing (2 step, western swing), and do more dancing. Earlier today, I ran across a profile on Tinder for a woman whom I know IRL. The profile says she is 67, but I have heard her tell people she is 52 and she looks good, for 52 or 67 or any age.

I reached out, and asked her about that discrepancy, thinking it was just a mistake. She said that yes, it was a mistake, she put down her real age accidentally. She also said that it was the dancing that keeps her young.

I should mention that every time I see her she is dancing, she never sits down and takes a rest, up dancing to every song.

So all of you, get out there and do more dancing!!!

so, two hours into the new year, what did everyone do? I went to a local casino, 1000 people dressed to kill and dancing, saw more cleavage than I do swiping thru profiles here. no black ice on the road home, and its supposed to warm up to 40 degrees today, might walk a beach with a friend. Hope everyone else enjoyed their celebration.

My girlfriend drag me to watch Penn's Landing fireworks by the Delaware River Waterfront. It was freezing cold, surrounded by people who obviously drank too much, lol

Happy New Year everyone!

I woke up this morning without a headache.

I immediately checked my heart.

I don't know what the phuck is going on this year with me.

I may have a problem.

^^^^ Cool.

2015 started poorly for me, but ended with a bang. Rock on, 2016.

2017 Happy New Year

It's almost 2018 and I can feel the excitement building.....

Soon, there will be balls dropping, time will pass as usual and as it does it will ring in a New year. There will be fireworks, first kisses for the year 2018 and people will all get another year older. Unless they die anyways.

With all of this in mind I think the future looks pretty good. If you have life, live it.... If you've got em', smoke em and enjoy it while you can. Enjoy one anothers existence even if you don't always agree. I think I am going to try that at any rate....

Onward ,Upward. Over, and out. Year 2018 make me, twist and shout. Or, just a bit more time, to figure the whole thing out..... Happy New Year!
