Predict what Trump will do to North KoreaPage 1 of 3    (1, 2, 3)
I believe they will shoot down the next NK missile at the same time they take out the NK leadership than will plead for peace. I believe the die is cast...Trump is going to do something and soon...maybe this coming week. Let's hope the US military is up to the task and can handle all contingencies without SK and Japan being taken out.

http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/354389-trump-only-one-thing-will-work-with-north-korea

President Trump on Saturday continued to dismiss a diplomatic approach in handling North Korea's escalating nuclear ambitions, saying "only one thing will work."

"Presidents and their administrations have been talking to North Korea for 25 years, agreements made and massive amounts of money paid hasn't worked, agreements violated before the ink was dry, makings fools of U.S. negotiators," Trump wrote in tweets.

"Sorry, but only one thing will work!" he added.

Trump's tweets alluding to possible military action in dealing with the crisis on the Korean Peninsula echoed his comments last Sunday in which he argued that Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was "wasting his time" trying to negotiate with North Korea.

The president said that his administration would "do what has to be done" in response to actions from North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, whom he referred to as "Little Rocket Man."

Tensions between Washington and Pyongyang have remained heightened in recent months, though relations between Trump and Tillerson have also gained fresh interest recently amid differing comments on the U.S. approach to North Korea.

Tillerson held a hastily-scheduled press conference on Wednesday to push back on reports that he considered resigning over the summer. Trump later expressed confidence in his chief diplomat, and officials emphasized that the administration was working together.

North Korea has put the international community on alert in recent months after testing a series of intercontinental ballistic missiles, including two over Japanese airspace.

Trump threatened to "totally destroy" North Korea on the floor of the United Nations last month, prompting the country's foreign minister to threaten to test a hydrogen bomb in the Pacific Ocean.

so far, its assumed the check and balance on Chump, the real adults in the White Again House, are Rex Tillerson and Kelly...and a few at the Pentagon who refused to drop the blade on transgenders in the military just b/c of a dumb tweet. Chump found on the campaign trail, that insulting names worked well to diminish his opponents. But it sucks as a foreign policy. and we all can guess how long before Tillerson gets axed by the moron.

If Chump pushes the wrong button on the desk for Diet Coke, and the political wind is blowing in the right direction (for example, a new Russian election deal hits the papers), Chump may find the Pentagon...acts on its own, and pretends they didn't get the call to launch a strike-counterstrike. Even the Pentagon realizes, if NK flings a No Dong in the air and our vaunted-yet-never-really-tested anti missile network fails to "hit a bullet with a bullet"...that's a disaster. Its a political disaster when we tell our allies not to worry, we got this. Its a disaster for any military-industrial complex the generals want to work for as soon as they retire, to find out oopsie, we got another Patriot missile fiasco (we said they could shoot down Scuds, Israel went to buy them until they couldn't find any evidence they actually do what they are advertised). If someone at the Pentagon is really not sure our counterdefenses work...they may not be interested in revealing that unless there's an actual war and no one can bother to sue for false advertising b/c they're too dead to do so.

Chump is desperate, as the dealmaker, to find ANY deal he can lift a leg on and mark as his own. So the question may be, who will take it out of his hands? Will our allies, NK's neighbors, cut a deal and calm down NK before it can be a threat? Will our navy sabotage things by, oopsie, we sent the ships to Australia again, guess we can't be a threat. Maybe NK might find advantage in pulling back from things, saying its the bigger man, and will de-escalate things...esp. if it gets some favors for doing so. And then there's China, the wild card--what will they be convinced is in their best interest to do? NK keeps us from dealing with China, so they do China a favor, but maybe China will decide there's another option.

Trump has drawn too many (red) lines in the sand regarding NK
KJU has called every bluff that Trump issued (so far)
His recent "calm before the storm" remarks, is either more BS (that KJU will deride)...or its gotta be the real deal

Unless China can accomplish a miracle, Trump has to SH!T, or get off the Fkn (war) pot
Its do or die for KJU,...blinking first is not an option for him, it will be seen as a huge sign of weakness...and he will be deposed by his generals....thus he has only 1 option, and that is to go forward with the H-bomb & missiles.

He is banking that the US won't attack because no one wants a devastated Korean peninsula & japan....not to mention a world wide market collapse that will soon follow.

It would serve the President better if he were to state that the U S A respects the people of North Korea but deplores the members of the regime than has hijacked that country from them. Technically, Kim Jong-il & Co may have assumed power legally; but, in practice, their rule is illegitimate

Re #7...that would maybe be a strategy of a sane and strategically intelligent person, however, Trump has displayed this behavior from the get go and with those he isn't even an opponent of. When you have those working on "your side" who don't know where you stand from day to day and constantly try to one up or publicly deride when something intelligent they say or do takes the spotlight off of you, it's not feigned unpredictability and crazy behaviour, it's legitimate.

What do you want in NK
Posted: 10/7/2017 10:00:20 PM
Seems to me... our President has already defined what we plan to do.

I bet it was an ultimatum. Cease and desist. Comply by X, or we not playin.

Wonder how deep Kim is hiding?
Don't wonder if he a wee bit worried if it deep enough.

President Trump is ours. Warts and all.
Personally... I wish him good luck.
Bet it's more than he signed up for.
Will he "fix" all that's broken? No.

He has shaken the establishment.
He bucks bureaucracy.
Results should trump decor.

Trump will die before anything happens because the rocket man can't really be that stupid. China isn't going to sit on the fence if North Korea were to attack someone with nuclear weapons. The United States are their biggest trade partners. I can't imagine an economic war with America is something they would want to engage in.

Which one is Trump?

My understanding of your government is that without the okay of Congress and the House of Representatives Trump can't even attack another country with his penis.

Trump will treat North Korea the same way he treats questionable regimes in other parts of the world-Trump will offer to sell them billions of dollars worth of military weaponry so that they don't have to waste time developing and making their own. Trump would then say that arming North Korea is good for the U.S. because it creates jobs-and of course, his flock of zombie Trumpites will believe him..

Only it hasn't worked...and doesn't look like there is much chance of NK backing down. They are getting ready for a new launch. I think they have been warned behind the scenes not to do it but they are going to do it anyway, which means all he'll is about to break out. I just wonder if they are going to try to evacuate Seoul first, as well as us citizens.

At what point will the lunacy end? Today, it's the U.S. telling North Korea they can't have nuclear weapons (while the U.S. is allowed to have as many as they want). Tomorrow, it could be Iran or some other country getting a warning not to even think about it. Later on, it will be some other country. Is the U.S. going to invade and have a war any time some other country wants nuclear weapons? Will the U.S. up the ante by invading China and Russia as well, because they have nuclear weapons? Look at how well global domination worked for Hitler, or some other leader in the past who thought they can control and own the entire planet. I guess Americans find it too boring if there's peace in the world. It seems to be human nature to always want an enemy to fight, no matter what.

that's why countries go nuclear to protect themselves from threat of war made by those like Trump, and having nukes lessen the chance of being invaded,

since neither Trump nor Kim Jong have a problem getting rid of cabinet members and the fact that Kim Jim tend to dispose of his members using methods from The Game of Thorns is why some of the North Korean generals could be induced to concoct a plan with The United States to get rid of Kim Jong,

so the most Trump can hope for when it comes to a non-nuclear option is to disrupt North Korea perhaps with a computer virus or a Chemical agent so that a "coup d etat" can take place

if Trump is the Antichrist and are in fact trying to fulfill the prophecy for the "Tea Party Trump Christians" and bring forth The Zombie Apocalypse ..... then so far he's been doing a "damn" (no pun intended) good job...."the calm before the storm"

and since the Russians have been doing their due diligence in the re-scripting of America, all Putin have to do is covertly blow up something in North Korea and guess who the North Koreans would launch missiles at

THE QUESTION
if a nuke did hit The United States, would those that was against illegal immigration jump "The Wall" and try to cross over into Mexico or Canada illegally

What a difference a year makes. This time last year the f*cking moron was calling Clinton as a warmongering menace to the world. Now this demented unqualified fool has taken us to the brink of nuclear war with North Korea, while his followers are clapping like trained seals at a zoo.

DONALD TRUMP CALLS HILLARY CLINTON “TRIGGER HAPPY”

At a rally in Lynden, Washington, Trump pivoted into a tirade against Clinton as a warmonger.

“On foreign policy, Hillary is trigger happy,” Trump told the crowd. “She is, she’s trigger happy. She’s got a bad temperament,” he said.

Trump implied that casualties inflicted by the U.S. military were far higher than reported. “They bomb a city” and “it’s obliterated, obliterated,” he said. “They’ll say nobody was killed. I’ll bet you thousands and thousands of people were killed every time you see that television set.”

“If we would’ve done nothing,” Trump argued, “we would’ve been in much better shape.”

"It's a game of chicken....and if you know your opponent is crazy....the only way to win is to convince him you are even more crazy and unpredictable. "

>>and that's exactly the problem. We are so egocentric enough to think, the first opponent mentioned is KJU and the one acting more crazy is Chump.

its the other way around. and the side with less to lose, is the one who wins the chicken contest. B/c they have less to lose by holding out until the end. NK has more than just nukes on a missile, they have chemical weapons and cyberwarfare capabilities..and we rely on our internet far more just to conduct daily business/finanacial. Meanwhile Chump wants to pull out of the Iran deal, as if dumbing down on stupid. How about we fix one near-war sabre rattling first?

Has anyone begun to notice, Chump's solution to foriegn and domestic problems is to...invent a new problem to divert attention from the first problem?

Pentagon chief tells Army to "be ready" on N. Korea
"You have got to be ready to ensure that we have military options that our president can employ if needed," Defense Secretary Jim Mattis says"

Yea..that game of chicken is getting to be very hot. I sure hope we know where all of NKs subs are...not to mention all of its agents holding vials of deadly biotech concoctions.

President Trump is not just doing a good job with North Korea, he's doing an outstanding job!!
It's not just him, it's his entire staff.
North Korea is being choked to death economically. The noose is being drawn tighter and tighter all the time. Read the story in the Wall Street Journal this morning. If that isn't going to stop Kim Juong, then other means will be used.
Perhaps one of their missiles will be shot out of the sky.
Nuclear war will never happen. THe United STates will not let it get to that point. IT's not good for anybody.

As sure I say this, Uncle Fester is going to post and cite 37 different sources attempting to show me how I am wrong.

Just like with Syria, the end result is all that matters. Patience.
