I was outside a local hot food street thingy today...........
there was a small bird hopping about, pecking for crumbs-
the lady server threw it some cheese bits, which caused
it to come closer to me - a greenfinch, I believe........
she told me 'it's been around since November'
I was enchanted by the wonder of this small, brave
insignificant little bird as it danced for me..........
the other 'customers' looked through the event as I knelt
before something that I thought rather special.
The bird & I just did not exist - so many blank stares.
How many times have you seen something that seemed
completely missed (or dismissed) by those around you?

Ahhh, lovely, I am an avid gardener and the birds come for worms when I’m workin,
Robins, Blackbirds and Thrushes are the usual suspects.
My ‘friend’ would call it being old I call it being in touch.
I say my ‘friend’ because from my research she is toxic and I’m currently
Avoiding especially after her last visit on Monday,

I did have a little Wren coming into my man shed last year. Probably only 4 feet away, amazingly small.

I have a cheeky little Robin as well. He gets quite close. They are well known for it.

I have a Wren visit too,
it looks as though a pair of Robins are nesting in the Bay
So I won’t be able to cut that for some months....

My Camelia will be bursting into bud anyday
Love spring
