Another season done.-- I'm in serious hockey withdrawalPage 1 of 1
I am so sad right now. Was looking forward to hockey playoffs all year and another chance at the cup for the Winnipeg Jets and they were out in the first round. That was bad enough but I turned my attention to the Calgary Flames but they got knocked out the next night. So I turned to the Toronto Maple Leafs and they are out too. Now there are no Canadian teams to cheer for and I am in serious withdrawal. Year after year after a year a Canadian team fails to get the Stanley Cup. It's now been 26 years since a Canadian team won and with 7 teams out of 31 you'd think at least once in ten years one would get it. It's been a long hard drought. And now I have to wait another year to probably be disappointed once again. Why do I even bother? Why do long-suffering fans allow themselves to keep suffering for years and decades and even half a century?
