Posted: 10/24/2005 5:33:42 PM | Around my neck of the woods it seems like all the men are the same. I've dated enough around here to learn that respect and trust are two difficult things to find. It seems so many times ya give and give and ya don't always get it back in return. Right now I think i'm single because i'm being selfish and living for myself and making "me" happy before I go ahead and jump into anything too serious.
I'm sure there are also those who will agree with me that after taking so much BS in past relationships, you have to learn to remove some of the insecurities that gained. | |

I'm wondering if it has to do with me being a single mom and meeting "boys" who think they want a family and after leading one on.. decide it's not for them.
Oh I REFUSE to feel guilty for having my daughter. THE BEST thing I have ever done in my life. Honestly... my BA was a piece of cake compared to being a mom. | |

It's hard to be lusting after and/or be in love with someone.. tell them all your dreams and goals and let them in to see you for you.. and then POOF!!!! They are gone. For whatever reason. It takes a lot of work to get to know someone.. and them to get to know you.
I'm no expert but I'm having a hard time with allowing someone to upset the routine of my life. I find it's easier to let them in.. then once they are gone it's much harder to get back to the old routine. Meh.... | |
