Oh, I love Dire Straits. "Tunnel of Love" is one of my top ten favorite songs ever, and "Romeo and Juliet" is excellent as well.

Mark Knopfler is one of my favorite musicians. One of my favorite albums is an oldie which he did - the score from Local Hero. Mostly instrumental, but haunting and touching. Although I normally think of Knopfler for his amazing guitar work, his overall ability as a composer far outshines his guitar work (and that's saying something).

"Brothers In Arms" was one of the best albums of the 1980s.

"Love Over Gold" that preceded B.I.A. was another fine work especially the song "Industrial Disease"....."two men say they're Jesus, one of them must be wrong."
