A friend of mine aquired a old book.
MORALS AND DOGMA, SCOTTISH RITE, FREEMASONARY...

he did not realize what it was.

The Masons are a secret society and all I knew about them was they kept it a secret....
and it had something to do with the pyramid on the back of a dollar bill.
This book lists the 32 degrees of the order and some info on the 33rd degree ( only held by Mr Pike, who is long dead)

Being I have personally known some Masons and they never talk about it, I quickly looked over the book to see what this was all about.
Found some interesting stuff.
A person goes in on the first degree and works up the ladder. Each degree there are teachings and an aspect taught such as FORCE, LEADERSHIP, etc, etc.....
The whole thing is based on ANCIENT Eqyptian philosophy, astrology, numerology and symbolisms...

Going through the book and to the ROYAL "SECRET" of the 32nd degree, the TRUE WORD of the MASTER MASON... but I cant tell you, its a secret.. lol
It is a very interesting book based heavily in philosophy and very ancient eqyptian symobolism and wisdoms of that era....

It was profound in reading the MASTER MASONS SECRET...
We boiled it down loosely to "do the right thing".... I feel relieved somewhat as I always wanted to know what this was all about with Masons and the back of a dollar bill.
They are basically cult-ish and this is not based on religion.... but they do have some good teachings as ...... not to fear death.... how without dark there would be no light, no good with no evil... about free will.
I no longer fear Masons and that the secret they hold is a bad one...
The symbolism gets deep.... lots of numbers 777=God and lots like that all from ancient teachings, astrology and numerlogy. Strange yes but they seek to do good in the world.
I would NEVER have guess it was based on astrology, numerology, ancient eqyptian symbolisms and all that.
Interesting.
Will read some more on the degrees.... why? I dont know....
lol.... I just want to know how it works... lol

ps..... why is this an all boys club?
Hmm?

Don't they worship the God Baphomet?? I think it's very interesting and also think the Golden Dawn is interesting as well as secret societies....I don't like them though...that is unless I was the head of a powerful one..

well, I'm not wanting to join one but I am curious what the Masons
are about. Since I have one of their books on the whole process now
( friend gave it to me )
I have been reading it.... find it interesting.
Degree one has to do with FORCE... very philosophical yibberish about FORCE
stangely called "THE APPRENTICE" ( look out Donald Trump)
hey... is that what that show is about?
lol

talks all about force...in every concievable way....
and some about the TEMPLE ( house of the temple) and how it is arranged
called the LODGE to keep the writings, square, compass, charter... where it
represents a part of KING SOLOMONS TEMPLE.

mmm, like I guess they are pretending they know that King Solomons Temple was like.
and they are laying down some rules, that you have to participate in the temple.
Force of Unity I guess.
I find it interesting but no plans to join

This is just a cult as I see it.

Its not bad... like they do or preach evil... cuz they don't seem to
from the readings in the book..... but its based on strange stuff
of the ancient days .... all in all..... its still a cult

My Father and Grandfather were both Freemasons and my Father tries to get me into it. My question is, if what they are doing is such a good thing, then why would they need to keep it a secret? There are reasons people and organizations keep things very cryptic and covert, and those reasons are rarely noble ones.

yeah why do they keep it a secret?

lol

I guess because its base has to do with the occult, astrology, numerology
and based on the teachings of ancient eqypt.... and some people would find them a little
goofy.
I guess this is also why they keep women out... because women might laugh at them or something as much of the book is yibberish philosophical ideals and all.

Its not that the ideas are bad as they are done to illicet good...
but the means they do this is kinda crazy to me.
I guess why its a secret is they dont have to do around spending time defending themselves.

another good point is why they would have a book if it were such a secret... lol

if this is true, this is maybe why its a secret society
I do not know the internal workings, just have the code book of ideals....
which may not be the actual case of what they are doing at all.

The masons I have known in real life were people trying to
get far ahead... I do not know much about what they did in the meetings.

I asked... they werent saying

I would like to set a few things straight about the Mason organization. It is NOT a cult. Nor does one have to be Non-Christian to belong to a Masonic Lodge. In order to become a Shriner you must first go through the steps to become a Mason. Mason's and Shriner's do a lot of good, charity work. They support the largest network of Crippled and Burned Children's Hospitals. There is never a fee for treatment and most of this charity goes to people who are not Masons or Shriner's.

Some of the Masonic Principles are :
Faith must be the center of our lives.
All men and women are the children of God.
No one has the right to tell another person what he or she must think or believe.
Each person has a responsibility to be a good citizen, obeying the law.
It is important to work to make the world a better place for all.
Honor and integrity are keys to a meaningful life
"So Who Are The Masons?
Masons are men of good character who strive to improve themselves and make the world a better place. They belong to the oldest and most honorable fraternity known to man."
George Washington and thirteen other Presidents have belonged to the Masons.

You also said in another Post that to be in the order of the Easter Star, your husband must be a Mason. That is also false.
Why not try researching something before posting false and negative information about a very good organization that does a lot of charity work and believes in family traditions and a Supreme Being?

Wow, they are not so great at keeping "secrets" if your "friend" got ahold of this book that reveals all.

Of course I am sure that YOU , OP are one of the SELECTED FEW ( chosen by the Intergalactic Council of Elders..? ) with sufficient intelligence to understand the writings and their significance..
