Notice: Forums will be shutdown by June 2019

To focus on better serving our members, we've decided to shut down the POF forums.

While regular posting is now disabled, you can continue to view all threads until the end of June 2019. Event Hosts can still create and promote events while we work on a new and improved event creation service for you.

Thank you!

Used to go to erm "tatt" auctions when i was out in ireland to get stuff for car boot sales, I wouldn't know about "proper" auctions but at this one you had to actually catch the auctioneers eye and make a definite confirmation to him while doing so to make a bid :)

Its like Ebay, except you don't get outbid by 2 pence when there's 3 seconds left.

General auctions are much like you see on TV.

Car auctions are fast, risky and competitive.
