Heyyo,

Just wondering if anyone else here went to see Rob Zombie while he was on his Educated Horses tour. I myself went to the one in Edmonton July31, and it was amazing. Greatest live show I've seen yet.

Anthrax opened for them, and they put on a hardcore show. Did tunes like Madhouse, Got The Time, Anti-Social, Skeletons In Your Closet.. but as soon as the Zombie hit the stage? I was full out andrenaline raging. I think I was the only one in the stadium section I was in that was going all out hardcore rockin', kinda sucked, but oh well. The costumes, the props, and he even had a crazy 8 foot tall robot for the song "White Zombie - More Human Than Human" which was sweet.

He did all his big songs, even did "Metallica - Enter Sandman" and cause it was John5's birthday, he did "Marylin Manson - Sweet Dreams" and both were great stuff, near the end of sweet dreams he started shouting "happy brithday! happy birthday!" haha, I'll never forget this live concert. He maybe did a total of 4 encores before they finally hit the light switches back on.

That night, I couldn't sleep, I just wanted to bolt to the nearest bar cranking his music, and rage all over again. So fellow Zombie fans? this thread's for us, lets hear how much you also enjoyed this hardcore live show.

Seen White Zombie twice and they put on great shows, although Tommy Victor and Prong really stole it as the opening act first time around.

it was at AE Stage next to Heinz Field in Pittsburgh that I saw Rob and John5 perform. Exodus opened, Slayer next. I became one of the world's oldest moshers as I jumped into the pit for Reign In Blood. I enjoyed Slayer music more than Zombie but Zombie was more interesting visually.

he did "Marylin Manson - Sweet Dreams"

Ummm.... You know Manson didn't write that, right? It's an Eurythmics song.

The one time I had tickets, at the Capital Theater in Port Chester, NY, they cancelled because their guitarist was sick. Around 5PM, I saw the dude in the local mall and I was like, "What's up? Why no gig?" and he said they didn't sell enough tickets. Lame.

Have seen White Zombie on three occasions years ago. All were entertaining and rockin' shows, of course.
I won a pair of tickets by being first caller to a radio station for correctly knowing name of his bassist: Sean Yseult.

I am not the biggest fan of Rob Zombie but I did enjoy 'Hellbilly Deluxe'.

Great album by him.

White Zombie 1992-1993, okay enough.

Rob Zombie in the 21st century - just awful.
