"just give them away"

could care less about the diamond or the gold.....the intent of the rings was broken when the vows were........to me they are valueless and I don't want them.

A ring with meaning..........no matter the monetary value........priceless!

Melt them down, mold them into teeth, and then record a rap album. That's what I did.

Apparently my ex had a feeling I'd pawn them or something, I didn't realize till after that he took them with him when he left.
Totally fine by me, he never asked me to marry him, just bought the rings and expected me to wear them with a big smile...uhh I dont think so

Hopefully he will give them to his next gf, so i can exclaim how beautiful my rings look on her

I had his and after ten years I gave it a friend....I didn't want that ring in my jewlerey box anymore.....didn't want to pawn it......that's part of the reason I got divorced......cant/don't want to find him....yup a friend....I don't think the fish would have liked it as a lure.

Plus I don't like gold anyways........not the regular kind

Don't know where mine went...oh ya he probably pawned them for his habit.....

Put them on a chain and hang them around your neck as a warning to the next guy who even thinks about breaking you heart.

well........... i consider myself very lucky in that my ex and I are still friends (but i think the 500miles between us helps!) ....... She will always be part of my and my daughters family..... so my daughters had my ring converted to a family ring with mine and their stones in it (luckily it started as 3 diamonds, so it was easy)

The only challenge i find is that even though i wear it on the other hand, women sometimes still think it might be a wedding band and that i slipped it on the wrong hand to sneak out for the night! lol

My wedding ring was my grand mothers ,didn't even have to size it.I gave it to my mom for safe keeping. One of my kids will get it some day .Even if the split was ugly ,and I bought it ,I would do that ,after all love her or hate her those kids are half her,and they were conceived in that marriage

Don't do what the ex did with the one I gave her.....she tossed it out her apartement window.

After the daughter informed me of the incident,I gave my ex a note with $$$$ amount I had spent on the ring. According to sources, the ex was on her hand and knees on a New West street for two nights looking for something??? Silly, silly, girl.

wow, that sounds like quite the scam. Buyer Beware Why waste postage, when if that is what you want to do you could do it here. I would recommend having your gold weighed before walking in somewhere to negotiate a deal.
Me? I gave mine back to the buyer

Exactly what we did for our daughters. Something we actually agreed on and the kids were grateful. They weren"t very big rings though. Heck, no wonder she left, I bought her inexpensive rings. My bad. Hey two grand was alot in 1983. Obviously not.
