How many here have gotten into the facebook craze.
It's seriously addictive. I feel like I'm on crack now.
I've gotten in touch with so many old friends and people who I've sadly forgetten over the years just messaging me out of the blue.

Are you a facebook junkie?!

What does being on crack feel like? Facebook is cool. I'm not addicted yet. Where do I buy a facebook pipe?

Ok I know I am going to sound silly but - What is Facebook?

Not silly, an honest question. facebook dot com It started as a college-university level place for students to keep in touch, share pictures, etc. You needed a valid school email to get an account (something that ended in .edu). Now it's spread to high school and is open to non-students and is slowly moving towards a myspace feel to it.

I think of it as short-attention-span blogging.

My first year's first semester in college, I was insane about it. It took over my life. Looking back, I find it to be quite silly. Then my second semester, I deactivated my account because it was seriously affecting my grades so now I still do have a profile there but I hardly log on.

My only problem with facebook is that it's making already screwed up middle school and high school kids even more messed up. I'd say it's getting worse than my space because it practically has everyone from the school. So there's so much more drama and kids competing and fighting.

I wish they had kept it only for colleges and universities.

Making it available for middle schoolers and high schoolers was a very bad idea.

I started really using facebook my sophomore year of college. I love it. I check it almost daily. It helps me keep in touch with my friends at college even though I took the semester off. I prefer facebook to my space. I'm not real crazy about my space. I do wish they would have kept the facebook open to college/university students and not high school and middle school though.

It's a great format to keep in touch with work friends that I don't get to see, and family that lives far away. Everyone in one place, very easy to navigate through. Great communication tool.

blew iis, alot of people make their profile only viewable to their friends.
Just ask to have them add you as a friend and you can see their profile.
It's really a super tool for finding old friends and keeping in touch and planning parties.
I have literally found 90% of everyone I know and 50% of just about anyone else I knew.
It's just too cool!

And then there are people you don't want to find or to find you.

I love facebook. I have met up with many of my old classmates and some relatives.

I personally will not join or have an account, do some research find out where this program REALLY originated from. Try the US government.... Think of why your addicted to this particular site, try to delete your account...You CAN'T. Subliminal messages are not the word here, people. I have been researching the government and the propaganda BS they are feeding us. People need to start asking questions as to what's really going on in our society. For your own sake. You really think we are free thinkers??? think outside the norm of things and your looked upon as "Crazy" or something weird like that. I for one, will not conform. Once you start searching FOR THE TRUTH you can't stop. IT WILL BLOW YOUR MIND.

^^^^Wether it originates from the government or not. Its just another website such as any other. Some people get addicted to things very easily and well others could not be bothered. Its seems everytime there is something out there people can blame on the government or anyone else they will pass the stick. Rather then taking it for what it is....

I just joined facebook. I can't really see what the big deal is. I currently don't like it much. But I guess that will change when I get used to it, and know what to do in it.

YEAH KIND OF LIKE THIS PLACE, only here they don’t collect what your doing, what your friends are doing, how you met them, how much money each of you make and what you spend it on.

I am going to cancel my acount here, right after just one more profile. Its only one more.

You dont HAVE to give any information if you dont want to so. So if your givng out your income and everything else then well your the only one to blame. On here they also ask the same things. Too add to this i must say i was reading a report and "supoosedly" they are not permitted to use that website well at work...... So if its government run then why the ban?
