| Things not to bring on a first date Posted: 9/5/2005 1:33:33 AM | a camera crew
Honestly... these dating shows that have a four person camera crew running after a couple (or sometimes people competing to become a couple). Do people act natural in front of the camera? NOOO! They show off! Yeesh.
I'll never go on Blind Date again. | |

| Things not to bring on a first date Posted: 9/5/2005 5:54:43 AM | I can't believe you guys missed the most important of all. CELL PHONES, pagers and other electronic devices! LEAVE THEM HOME. If a woman ever took cell phone calls while we were out for dinner on a date I would walk out. I'm serious. If your life is that busy that your mom or your best friend can't leave a message while you're out for the evening, then you shouldn't be really dating at all. The time for a cell phone is NOT when you're on a date. Those women who want a serious, sensible relationship and more than a one night stand would do well to take heed to this advise. | |

| Things not to bring on a first date Posted: 9/5/2005 6:14:39 AM | Amen CT! Was out with a guy who, just during the course of dinner, no only took 3 calls on his cell.. but walked outside to talk and was gone 15 minutes at a time. Unless you're a doctor or someone will seriously DIE if you don't get the call... Leave them off or at home. | |

| Things not to bring on a first date Posted: 9/5/2005 6:21:14 AM | Thanks norolim. My ex was pretty good about that. She knew I hated cell phones and I NEVER saw her phone even once. One time she had to place a call when we had a change of plans that affected someone else. So she gracefully excused herself for like 2 minutes to go and take care of it. Turns out her phone didn't work and she ended up using a pay phone anyway. But that happened ONCE and for a good reason. I do realize that people think they look cool when they are ALWAYS on their cell phone when in public. I just think they look stupid and have fallen prey to mass marketing by cell phone companies. I have a phone at home, one phone line that's it, and I simply check messages when my company is gone. | |
