Sex on a First Date - Does it Kill a Potential Relationship?
Posted: 7/18/2018 12:32:02 PM

Most of the time, having sex on the first date will not result in a LTR.

I agree, what who says it's supposed to result in a LTR?

It's not like a barter, sex for a LTR. The real question is, does early sex change the odds of an eventual LTR?

I think it doesn't change the prospects as all, I would argue it accelerates the decision process.

Will history judge Trump as US's greatest traitor?
Posted: 7/18/2018 8:57:38 AM
US offers no details as Russia claims Trump and Putin reached military agreements

Washington (CNN)Russia announced it was ready to pursue agreements reached by Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump "in the sphere of international security," though the White House and Pentagon would not confirm any agreements had been made or offer any details.

Trump and Putin met for about two hours during their summit in Helsinki with only translators present. It is still not clear what the two men discussed or agreed to during their meeting.

"The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is ready for practical implementation of the agreements reached between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump in the sphere of international security achieved at the Helsinki summit," Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov, a Russian military spokesman, said in a statement Tuesday.
The Russian military "is ready to intensify contacts with the US colleagues in the General Staff and other available channels to discuss the extension of the START treaty, cooperation in Syria, as well as other issues of ensuring military security," Konashenkov said.

The National Security Council would not confirm what Trump had agreed to in the one-on-one with Putin. A spokesman for the NSC told CNN on Tuesday that they were still "reviewing the discussion."

"The Helsinki summit was the beginning of a process between the United States and Russia to reduce tensions and advance areas of cooperation in our mutual interest," the spokesman said. "We are reviewing the discussion between President Trump and President Putin, considering possible next steps, and have nothing further to announce at this time."

The Pentagon declined to comment.

Trump's Helsinki press conference with Putin, and his endorsement of the Russian President over his own intelligence services, has fed outrage and concern about Trump's motivations, as well as what transpired during the closed-door session. Those concerns are now yielding calls in Congress for Trump's translator to appear before lawmakers.

Sen. Jeanne Shaheen, a New Hampshire Democrat who sits on the Senate Armed Services and Foreign Relations Committees, called for the Foreign Relations Committee to ask the administration to allow Trump's interpreter in Finland to testify before Congress.

"Yesterday, President Trump handed global leadership and stature —free of charge— to Vladimir Putin, a man who has spent his entire life working against the interests of the United States and who brutally suppresses and murders his own citizens," said Shaheen said in a statement.

"I believe the Senate Foreign Relations Committee should hold a hearing with the American interpreter who was present during President Trump and President Putin's private meeting to determine what was specifically discussed and agreed to on the United States' behalf," Shaheen said.

In an effort to clarify his comments about Russian election interference and US intelligence agencies, Trump gave a statement to cameras from the White House Tuesday in which he outlined in general terms some of his discussion with Putin.

The two men discussed "the range of issues," Trump said, "starting with the civil war in Syria and the need for humanitarian aid and help for people in Syria."

They also discussed the need to halt Iran's nuclear ambitions "and the destabilizing activities taking place in Iran," as well as Israel's security, North Korea and "the reduction of nuclear weapons throughout the world," Trump said.
He did not mention making any formal agreement with the Russian leader on military cooperation or anything else.
CNN's Mary lyushina and Ryan Browne contributed reporting.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/07/17/politics/trump-putin-russia-claim-military-agreements/index.html

Can Trump make military deals with a foreign country without Congress? Lord knows what is going to happen next.

I can't even imagine how this farce ends and how history will judge this time period.

We are only 1.5 years into this, the only good thing I can think "might" result from this is a much stronger Congress. Though I am not placing any bets on that happening.

Any thoughts?

Men age and lying
Posted: 7/16/2018 2:43:36 AM

Exactly. I have seen profiles that have an incorrect age in the stats section at the top. But the correct age is listed in the profile body. Many of us get emails from people that we are not interested in for whatever reason. Simply say "No thanks" or don't respond. If they are unable to take no for an answer or say something rude, then block them.

Due to POF policy of age restrictions, I can understand why someone might use that as a dodge.

As long as they list their correct age in thier profile, IMO it isn't really a lie as they are only trying to deceive a computer.

HELL NO

ONE OF MY MANTRAS RAISING MY KIDS WAS ALWAYS TELL THE TRUTH EVEN IF IT DOESNT LOOK GOOD

I am thinking of when Jane says something like, the teacher's a btch. (Could be anything at all)

The teacher hears that, and ask, what did you say????

Jane is expected to lie and say "nothing" but if she tells the exact truth, she gets punished.

I don't believe there is any exceptiono to that.

Sometimes people lie.
Nasty habit, almost worse than smoking.

Really?

Everyone does it, we teach our children to lie and we punish people who tell the truth.

You don't have to have fears about potential seriousness & drama with that as you don't "have time" to get serious, etc. You just let the guy know what's up. A hell of a lot easier setting that tone & letting a guy know, than a guy doing that on a 1st date with a gal. Because you probably don't want to blatantly advertise it on your profile which would draw in too much riff-raff of guys -- you just have a conversation about what your situation and what you're focused on.

Sounds all neat and tidy.

First, what makes anyone think it's all that easy to find a suitable FWB? And it often doesn't stay that way. People get jealous, want more time, want more attention, etc. Is one a FWB and also "exclusive" that seems to be asking a lot of a FWB. If not exclusive, people tend to get possessive.

Yeah, they're less visual. That's why they're busting down the doors of ugly men with well-written profiles, eh?

Less visual my ass.

less visual doesn't mean deaf, dumb and blind.

I think it's pretty obvious, whats the ratio between chippendales type places and strip joints / lap dance joints? 100:1?

Now if you think about harlequin romance novels Vs whatever men read, it tells us something else, not sure what. I have zero interest in romance novels.

Who Is Too Young or Too Old for You to Date?
Posted: 7/9/2018 8:14:49 PM

CBGB77 People age at surprisingly different rates. My sister is 71 but she looks much younger, younger than me in fact. Her boyfriend is 40 years younger than her

This picture of her when she was 70.

Your sister looks quite a bit younger than 70. Congrats !

I don't entirely agree that how one "looks' totally denotes how healthy one is, but it's often a good indication.

But her 40 years younger BF, that would be pushing it for me. Kind of depends, as few years ago I used to chat up this lady that was 23, but she was an avid rock climber, I am sure I could not have kept up. And it would bother me to be a drag on someone.

I never had children, but chatting about meeting with an 18-year-old gave me a queasy feeling of having to plan her college education if we ever got married.

It depends on how old one is. I am 66, but if I were single and 71, 31 doesn't sound too weird, but a super active 25 year old is out of the question, 18 still makes me queasy.

Wise me up. I'd love to hear them. I'm dating, just haven't this year.

OK, I will wise you up a little.

C and V are Cialis and Viagra, I took this quote from another forum. Some number of men take Cialis and Viagra either separately or together on a regular basis regardless. I am not sure what percentage, but it''s more common then you might think. Guys are competitive that way.

C and V together work very well for me, I pair it different ways sometimes 5/C in the AM , 5C in the PM, and then a 50/V as date time approaches. Be easy on it and judge your tolerance with lower doses and if you pair it with NO donors like Citrulline/Arginine watch your (low) blood pressure

Also, on yet another forum , many young men take Cialis and Viagra if they anticipate sex with a lot of women in a short period of time, like say 2 a day for a couple of weeks. They stock up on the chemicals ahead of time.

TRIMIX, now no doubt you would notice someone that used TRIMIX.

I tried Cialis out of curiosity, but I didn't care for it. It game me a headache and I don't need it, just wanted to see how it worked.

some are just born in, and others decide they don't like the crime or crowds of a city or don't want the big boxes of the suburbs--or just want more land and less on-the-grid living. There is the concept of small town courtesy--my parents had their car broken into, the kid responsible sent someone to apologize to me when he found out he knew his own victim and they weren't a stranger, go figure--but there's also small town mentality, too

I usually live in the suburbs, I am ~ 50 min from downtown Chicago.

People were complaining about the lack of dating possibilities and limitations of getting wild in a small town. My point was, people have chosen to live in their area, and should accept the good with the bad. When I was single, I would have never moved to a small town, the smallest "town" I have lived close to was Washington dc. I am not sure what it would have taken to induce me to move to a small town far removed from a big city.

When I think small town, I think like campton ky, Population 424 closest "big city" is Lexington, Kentucky at 72 miles away. Our next door neighbors moved to a large tract of family land outside of Campton, in the Kentucky hollows. We visited there for a week, people in town all knew their last name and family history. They moved back there because the guy used to be a tobacco farmer and had a lot of family in the hollows.

I can see the appeal, build your own house, not many code restrictions on building, build your own road to the house and get to name it, deer in the front yard every morning, great place to RV up and down the mountains and valleys, they have a small peer and boat dock on the creek. But they have family all over the place, they aren't really strangers.

My brother lives on 17 acres 45 min north of me, still not a small town IMO, but out in the country. They are 11 miles from a walmart, how small town can it be? Sort of sounds like the type of place MachIMustangII lives.

Sex in the Weirdest Places!!
Posted: 7/8/2018 4:59:40 PM
I have NOT had a lot of weird places, once in an elevator, but it was quick. I borrowed my brother's van to have lunch time sex in downtown chicago, I used to get road head as a way to stay awake on long road trips, once we pulled over to complete vaginal sex in the woods, once I had sex in my Fiat X1/9 that was really uncomfortable.

But I don't think those are all that odd.

A few years ago I was surprised at noon time by a couple in the middle of the bike path standing up and fuking.

I will state the obvious, just in case it wasn't considered...but in a small town, certain reputations last long and are difficult to turn around.

One of the top 3 reasons I will never live in a small town.

I never quite qot how one ended up in the small town. Most of us choose where to live, no doubt there are limitations, but not that many.

Trump Baby to fly over Parliament Square
Posted: 7/5/2018 4:16:56 PM
So what do you think of this sort of protest?

Giant 'Trump Baby' could fly over London for president's visit

Plans to fly a giant inflatable figure depicting Donald Trump as a baby over London during the US president's visit have been approved.

Mr Trump is due to meet Theresa May at 10 Downing Street on 13 July.

Campaigners raised almost £18,000 for the helium-filled six-metre high figure, which they said reflects Mr Trump's character as an "angry baby with a fragile ego and tiny hands".

London Mayor Sadiq Khan gave permission for the balloon to fly.

The White House has been approached for comment.

On Twitter former UKIP leader Nigel Farage said the plan was "the biggest insult to a sitting US President ever".

Under the plans the inflatable will be allowed to fly for two hours on the morning of Friday 13 July.

Leo Murray, who is behind the crowdfunded idea, said: "[Mr Trump] really seems to hate it when people make fun of him.

"So when he visits the UK on Friday, we want to make sure he knows that all of Britain is looking down on him and laughing at him.

"That's why a group of us have chipped in and raised enough money to have a six-metre high blimp made by a professional inflatables company, to be flown in the skies over Parliament Square during Trump's visit."

Mr Murray said organisers initially "didn't get off to the best start with the mayor's office over this, who originally told us that they didn't recognise Trump Baby as legitimate protest".

However, he said City Hall had "rediscovered its sense of humour - Trump Baby will fly".

A statement on behalf of the London mayor said he "supports the right to peaceful protest and understands that this can take many different forms".

Mr Khan's city operations team met organisers and gave them permission to "use Parliament Square Garden as a grounding point for the blimp".

The plan is for the Trump Baby to take off from Parliament Square
More than 10,000 people signed a petition calling for the inflatable to be given permission to fly, activists said.

Mr Khan and Mr Trump have repeatedly clashed on Twitter, including in the aftermath of the London Bridge attack.

Before the figure can take off, campaigners will also need permission from the National Air Traffic Service (NATS) as the project constitutes a "non-standard flight in controlled airspace", a spokesperson said.

Because Parliament Square sits within restricted airspace, additional approvals are also needed from the Metropolitan Police.

Max Wakefield, who is one of the people working on the project, said the group is "confident it will obtain all necessary permits".

He said the initial crowdfunding target was just £1,000, but this was reached within 24 hours.

The extra cash will now be used to send the balloon on a "world tour" and "haunt" Mr Trump wherever he goes, he added.

What a scorcher

I thought you were all joking about the heat. Your temps would be a real relief.

Just got back from Las Vegas, it was 46 c, of course with the low humidity, it feels like 46c. Like my brother says, it's dry heat, like a pizza oven. He has two central air cons, one for upstairs and one for downstairs.

Even the scorpions don't like that sort of heat and try to get inside the house.

Then I got back to Chicago, it was 33c, but with the humidity it feels like 39c. Just got back inside from mowing the lawn, I had to get inside a couple of times just to cool off before finishing.

I recall dating a woman who had a lot of experience dating many men.

One thing she told me they all had in common, they all thought they were unique. A rare sort of bird.

We all like to think we are pretty unique, marketing and advertisers exist because they know most people aren't all that unique.

How many profiles does anyone see claiming they are average? Being unique is the most common thing of all. :)

Older men's expectations

There have been periods in my life when I suppressed sexual desires, sublimated sex and concentrated on other things. Women (in general) seem to be able to do this more easily than men. And of course you can find a lot of literature dealing with this topic, 1984, George Orwell, immediately springs to mind.

I have wondered how many older men have a mental desire for sex, but if they don't have sex on a regular basis, how can they know for sure how they will perform, or how often they actually want sex if sex is on the table on a constant basis.

Kind of like, sure I can hike this trail, but after the first 3 miles I am begging for relief.

Most unique way ever to get dates.

This fellow created a one man dating platform, he is the only male a woman can choose.
===============================================================
Shed Simove called the app Shinder and said he built it to find himself a partner.

However, when he tried to trademark it, a Notice of Threatened Opposition was filed to the Intellectual Property Office by dating giant Tinder.

He also received a letter from lawyers representing the elevator firm Schindler.

Schindler asked him to commit to refraining from entering the elevator or escalator market.

Both firms were contacted by the BBC for comment. Tinder said it was aware of the situation.

Its filing means that it could formally oppose the trademark at a later date.

Mr Simove said that while he had no interest in the elevator industry he didn't believe he was a threat to Tinder either.

"I think it's a case of a big corporate giant looking at an entrepreneur who sees the world differently and being punitive," he said.

"It's unlikely that the female population will stop using Tinder and start using Shinder."

The Shinder platform invites people to register via Facebook, and after a few questions, decides whether the potential date is a match with Shed Simove.
Mr Simove, a serial inventor and speaker, said he had received 150 matches and been on three dates.
However, he also said he had heard from others who wanted to create a similar platform for themselves which was why he decided to trademark it.
"I think there might be commercial possibilities for it," he said.
"I have to keep my eye on that. If it was 'white label ' - that would mean if I chose to I could take the raw guts of the code and allow people to have their own versions. Jane could have Jinder, and so on."

Older men's expectations

One thing I want to know from all of these men who claim to have “lost my desire for women” –

Do you still have sexual desires? Do you still masturbate, and think about, fantasize about, watch videos of attractive women while …. ?

If the answer to the above is “yes”, then you have NOT lost your desire for women. You have just become unwilling to pay the price to obtain what you want, what you desire.

Henry, it's an interesting subject to me.

Since I have been on TRT (testosterone replacement) and been off TRT I can state hormone levels directly affect how I at least think about women.

What's REALLY interesting, this always feels "logical, mature thinking" even if it's completely different depending on levels of hormones. Women likely understand this better because they regularly go through a lot of hormone changes monthly. While with men, it’s such a slow gradual change it seems natural.

So if my testosterone is low, I really don't have any interest in sex or masturbation. I could watch a porn movie and only feel bored. I experimented and if I try and force it, I could masturbate, but it doesn't seem worth the effort. I wouldn’t say my interest was zero, but it was fairly low level. And my testos really never went clinically low, just near the bottom range of normal. If my testosterone is very high, a random thought in the shower at the gym can give me an erection. Not a good place to get an erection.

Western countries in general have experienced a worldwide generational decline in testosterone levels and for unknown reasons. So younger men aren't the same as kind of man as their father.

IMO all men starting at 30 should test their hormones to get a baseline, and test every so often, like 5 years to monitor what is going on. Not that I think anyone will take that advice , but it's good advice.

Speaking from experience, a lower desire for sex isn't always a bad thing, it certainly makes life simpler and one can enjoy many other things besides sex. However, the other problem of low testosterone is a "tendency" to gain weight, become a couch potato, and have a number of other health problems. Probably depends on how low is low.

No one likes to think so much of our behavior and thinking is strongly influenced by hormones. but there is a reason they once created eunuchs to guard harems.

I've personally never met a healthy, straight man over 60 who's lost interest in women. If you've lost desire for female companionship, then I propose that there could be something going on with you that you're unaware of. You might want to get checked out by both medical and mental health professionals.

This is what I would call selection bias.

You only "meet" 60 year old men interested in dating.

Think of all the 60 year old men you might pass on the street daily. You have no idea how they feel about their interest in dating.

Men that have lost interest in women won't be talking to you about dating. Those that do have an interest in dating will approach you. So you "only" meet men interested in dating. That says nothing at all about all the rest of 60+men you never meet. Just joining a dating site indicates some level of interest in dating, but not all 60+ men join dating sites.

I know most women my mothers have no interest in dating (91), and they didn't have an interest in dating for the last 25 years of their life.

The Boron supremacy
Posted: 6/9/2018 9:21:12 AM
PP, thanks, I thought the title was cute, but it seems the health forum is pretty dead.

I had no idea CRP could react so quickly to changes in your diet. But I didn’t change my diet, and the NIH stated boron would likely cut crp by a large percentage, so IMO boron is responsible for this change.

That said, I think any future progress on CRP will require a change in diet, so I will be on a quest to lose 25 lbs. Bring me down from 168 to 143, at 5.4 I could lose even more, but 25lbs is a reasonable goal.

Nothing Boring About Boron (NIH)
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4712861/

You should read the link to boron and NIH, you will see it has wide ranging effects on MG, Vitamin D, hormones, calcium, inflammatory effects that can help alleviate arthritis and improve brain function.

Speaking about MG, I have long been converted to a true believer in magnesium. Boron helps your body to absorb more MG, as you know it isn’t easy to absorb.

I take plenty of MG already and have NO doubt boron has increased my absorption of MG into my cells based on my work out routine.

http://www.livingwithatrialfibrillation.com/2731/exa-test-rbc-magnesium-test-results-2017/

The above URL is an interesting read on MG from someone with AFIB. Those with AFIB have a life threatening reason to monitor MG, they often use a test call EXA Test which he compares to the RBC magnesium test. Interesting, but an EXA test is too expensive for me to buy for casual use. Another interesting thing, it took him 3 years to get his magnesium up to an appropriate level, and he takes something called REMAG, which looks like $60 a month. Way more than I need, but an interesting read.

WEIGHT: On my quest to lose weight, I recently got back on testosterone injections, which I need for assorted reasons, not the least of which is my very low estradiol. Testos will raise both total T, free T and estradiol. This will help immensely.

And am considering taking Cytomel (Liothyronine Sodium) to boost my thyroid T3 levels. My T3 is not clinically bad but not optimal at 2.7 pg/mL (2.0-4.4 range). I would like my T3 more at 3.7 ng/mL. I have upped my iodine / selenium supplements, and my ferritin / iron levels are fine where they are. Maybe the iodine/selenium will do it, but if it doesn’t I will go for something like Cytomel. I will do another cheap test of FT4/FT3 to see what is going on before taking Cytomel.

Nice to see you looking fit and in good health, ciao.

Perhaps, but I would much rather be miserable in a Mercedes, than a Mazda.

I have a theory about that.

When you are poor, have problems, have health problems, financial problems, whatever, you can busy just trying to stay ahead of the same and can blame being miserable on your circumstances.

When you are rich and successful, but still miserable and unfulfilled, you have to think it's all on you, nothing you are going to do will make it better.

Trump Signals Possible Support For Bipartisan Marijuana Legislation

https://www.npr.org/2018/06/08/618276592/trump-signals-possible-support-for-marijuana-legislation

Trump wants to pardon muhammad ali, even though he wasn't convicted of anything, pardoned Alice Johnson, who really deserved to be pardon. But that's not the point.

IMO Trump is in campaign mode, trying to win the middle for the 2018 election.

Mature and oral sex
Posted: 6/8/2018 4:27:11 PM

only women I know that won't give oral when they are "mature"....are ones that really didn't like giving when they were younger!!

I agree, however.

I do think there are generational differences on how people regard oral sex, along with many other forms. Younger people tend to think of oral sex as very casual behavior, while those born in the 30s,40s and 50s had a different attitude when they were younger.

We lost another to suicide
Posted: 6/8/2018 4:10:55 PM
I am not so against suicide, for me it's mainly about how we affect those we leave behind. If we do have people close to us, it seems a very selfish act.

Meaning it's often a real hardship on children and spouses. If I lived alone with no one close to me, I take it as a personal decision on my part, I don't see why anyone should have to talk me out of it.

It seems to happen fairly often to those that on the surface seem to have a lot of live for.

Suicide doesn't change the eventual outcome of our lives at all, only a minor change in the date it will happen.

Romney predicts Trump will be reelected in 2020

Former GOP presidential nominee and current Utah Senate candidate Mitt Romney on Thursday predicted that President Trump would win a second term in 2020.

Romney, who once called Trump a “con man,” said Trump would “easily” win the Republican party’s presidential nomination and “solidly” win a second term while addressing a group of GOP donors.

I don't want to think Trump will be re-elected in 2020, but he might well be.

What happens to USA after Trump?
Posted: 6/6/2018 9:13:08 AM

There will never be an impeachment. I am sure nancy pelosi knows that too.

Maybe Trump will get really frustrated and shoot someone to test his theory that he can. That should do it, but you know ?

Maybe not

What happens to USA after Trump?

^^^ Somewhere I read that when immigration reaches a certain percent of the native population, it always causes stress amongst the natives. But I don't remember what percent it was.

In 1750, Benjamin Franklin shared his concerns about the Germans:

They weren’t as smart as the people already living in the colonies.

“Those who come hither are generally of the most ignorant Stupid Sort of their own Nation.”

They were unable to adapt to the local values.

“Not being used to Liberty, they know not how to make a modest use of it.”

They were endangering New England’s whiteness.

“[T]he Spaniards, Italians, French, Russians and Swedes, are generally of what we call a swarthy Complexion; as are the Germans also, the Saxons only excepted.”

In short, they were not to be liberally admitted to Pennsylvania, because as Franklin argued, “Why should Pennsylvania, founded by the English, become a Colony of Aliens, who will shortly be so numerous as to Germanize us instead of our Anglifying them, and will never adopt our Language or Customs, any more than they can acquire our Complexion.”

Dating Online Make self esteem go down ?
Posted: 6/5/2018 1:05:41 PM
Modern Americans born after 1952 all have TOO much self esteem. The later you are born after 1952 or so, the more self esteem one seems to have.

So maybe it's a good thing to take it down a little.

^^^ I don't think everything Trump has done is bad.

The question is, how to repair? It now has become obvious to all of us, in the USA and the world, if the President writes an executive order, the next President can just as easily undo it. How can anyone in the world trust that we in the USA will follow through in the longer term on our "word"?

Only Congress can pass laws that aren't so easy to undo. We need to demand more of Congress.

Wtf is dating for anyway?
Posted: 6/5/2018 9:49:17 AM

Thanks. I do get that the end result should be a relationship.

That is what I am saying is a big part of the problem. Online dating only makes it more pronounced, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

For one, to me, any activity with a romantic interest not already your spouse or significant other is a date. So, it’s a board definition. I think you are dating no matter how you met.

When you do meet someone that becomes a future relationship via common interests, or socialize with work associates, is your goal to find a romantic relationship when you socialize with work associates or meet those with common interests? From your posting, I think not.

I am suggesting that by making the goal of dating to be a relationship, you are putting too much of a burden on the process. You overthink the criteria of who you will go on a date with, you interact with that person as more of a vetting process than just enjoying the experience.

Date someone you find interesting, they don’t have to fit your idea of what would be an ideal long term relationship and suggest a date that involves some interest of your own that can be enjoyed with your date. Enjoy the process, let any endpoint evolve, or not evolve, naturally.

The Boron supremacy
Posted: 6/5/2018 8:59:43 AM
You might be interested in reading NIH report “Nothing boring about Boron”.

Since 3/1/2018 I have added 6-9 mg of boron and I have seen several surprising results.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4712861/

FROM NIH:
“Boron supplementation can affect biological half-life and bioavailability of E2 and vitamin D. significantly improves magnesium absorption and deposition in bone and can result in a 20% decrease in the plasma concentration of TNF-α, and in decreases (approximately 50%) in plasma concentration of hs-CRP and of IL-6, from 1.55 to 0.87 pg/mL.”

Boron supplement: What I have seen from blood tests that were only a few months apart.:

HS-C-reactive protein dropped from 3.39 pg/mL> 2.01 pg/mL
free testosterone rose from 5.5 pg/dl > 7.5 ng/dl
estradiol doubled from 11.1
PSA dropped from 2.8 pg/mL> 2.4 pg/mL

Magnesium must have increased, but I didn’t test RBC magnesium, Vitamin D levels, or get a good read on thyroid levels to see if they changed. So I don't know if blood test levels changed.

However, concerning magnesium.

Physiologically I have noticed one big change.

Taking magnesium has always helped me with random muscle cramps, but despite this I always got a muscle cramp in my abdominals from doing a couple of reps of 50 abdominal crunches, which would happen as soon as I would stand up. Now after the boron, this has gone away, I tested this by doing crunches on multiple days and have not had a single muscle cramp. Boron has earned a permanent part of supplement regime.

Boron is a very cheap supplement and has many positive and measurable effects in your body. I take a lot of supplements, but Boron along with magnesium have had the most positive effects, and I am convinced that Boron is working very well for me.

Just thought I would get a shout out about Boron.

What happens to USA after Trump?

What do you want to happen?

Should we change the constitution to say a President cannot pardon himself?

If Trump is impeached, will the Trump base react violently? If Trump is defeated in 2020, same question?

Will immigration laws go back to past policies or get even more restrictive? Will we deport DACA immigrants or give them a path to citizenship?

I believe social changes tend to reach a peak, then swing back like a pendulum. Are we near the peak of US hate towards those that are different, or is it going to get worse?

Do we elect another populist autocratic president?

Should Congress change laws? Gun laws, big money’s influence on our government, will it get even worse or better?

When if ever will we be able to respect Congress? IMO, never say never, but I can’t see it in the near future.

Will the blue wave of Democrats usher in a tea party type of far-left Democrat? Not sure what to call any far-left politicians, in Europe they are called democratic socialists, populist socialists and social populists, but we I am not aware of any popular name for them in the USA.

We are so focused on what is happening day to day, I wonder if what is happening now is a new trend or will we get an extreme far left backlash, or a return to the middle?

Wtf is dating for anyway?

A lot of my long term relationships just happened. Maybe it was a friend, co-worker or someone I met with the same interests and was getting to know as a person. We'd spend time together, then more time, then more time. Next thing we knew we were a couple. A long comes online dating when many of those options aren't as common as they used to be. I've gone out with woman I've met through OLD for one date, a few days, sometimes a few months and one was on and off for about 18 months.

Well, I have been retired since 2002, then I moved 1000 miles to chicago. Friends are all over the country, and all of them are married. I could have joined a lot of groups, but I am not a real joiner and don't much like groups.

If I didn't meet people through OLD, it would be pretty rare to meet anyone new.

But going off dating itself i know i actually have done it, it just never to led to anything. Not in all my years did i have a relationship from dating someone, all my relationships came from work associates, meeting via common interests, not by basically not looking for a relationship. Any dates that happened after being with someone were just coincidental.

Is dating as pointless as i'm thinking it is?

I do think many people look at dating as a means to an end.

However, I never looked at it that way. Not to get laid and certainly not to get into a relationship.

I would say, all relationships that came as a result of dating were just coincidental. Getting laid is a nice bonus, but for me it’s kind of like enhanced dating.

I enjoy activities with a woman that I find sexually attractive, or just interesting. It was all about the moment for me. So it’s much harder to get disappointed in dating. In fact, I was a little disappointed in finding a relationship which meant I had to give up dating.

When you go dancing, bowling, hiking, ect, what is the point? Does it lead to anything? Same as dating, it’s doesn’t have to lead to something to be a fun activity.

When Pets Are More Important Than Male Domestic Abuse Victims
Posted: 6/1/2018 2:27:09 AM

Yep. They are sheltering pets before sheltering male domestic violence victims. Not just pets. They want to get more women in, so they are allowing them to bring their pets. Next, they will be opening women's shelters with built-in spas, so women can feel better about their skincare. Then the women's shelter combination mall, theatre, nail salon, and gym. Fully funded, of course. Men's shelter? Nope. No funding for that.

Can you point out where it says it's a women's only shelter? Because is seems their mission statement includes males.

There is no one face of a domestic abuse victim. As one of the largest and most comprehensive domestic violence residential service providers in New York City, we are committed to serving all survivors, regardless of ethnicity, gender, sexual identity, race , socioeconomic status, race and ethnicity.{/quote]

Is the right to free speech ending in America?
Posted: 5/31/2018 8:13:58 AM

Those protests didn't go down well with Trump, he called them sons of ****es. The argument has ben going on for 2 years or so but now the people who run the NFL have decided they will fine clubs who allow their players to protest in this way. They are asking instead that the players and staff remain off the field while the anthem is played. I can imagine that some people who would not otherwise have protested joining in. Surely the right to make a peaceful political statement knows no bounds?

I don't think this incident erodes free speech, after all there are always limits to free speech.

Football players are entertainers much like actors, so how they present themselves while on the field is a part of their employment, and it's legitimate for the league to set standards. For instance, "DON’T: perform a choreographed dance, " like after a touch down.

Political statements always have bounds. Freedoms are NEVER unbounded.

John
There is always going to be incidents that are not "carbon copy" to another but we are in decline with morality. We need to fix that first.

If you want to fix the decline in morality, Trump would be the last guy to lead that charge. He wouldn't even know what morality meant, for him morality is whatever you can get away with legally is moral.

Delusions of grandeur again.
Posted: 5/15/2018 5:30:32 AM

Brainless/Troll: your delusions of grandeur don't count. Spoken like the true beta male that you are. Alphas don't troll, that's a beta (**** move), which you've proven that little bit of testosterone that your wee manhood is barely producing is turning to estrogen.

It's probably not well known, but a male needs both testosterone and estrogen (estradiol) to have a healthy libido. It's all in the ratio of the two. Too little estradiol with too much testosterone leaves you with a limp noodle. (But big muscles. )
