car tax
Posted: 8/31/2014 5:31:21 AM
also the ones who use false plates no tax disc to cross referance if parked on the street, myself i prefer tax disc, even now number plates are read by cameras so there s nothing new, i to checked and we all lose out buying mid month, just think if a few thousand car change hands mid month , car is taxed twice for same month, mine works out approx 16 quid, thousand sales mid month will bring in 16k extra

car tax
Posted: 8/30/2014 12:55:57 AM
if what you say is fact it is a scam, fair way do it by the day, but new system has been thought out to raise more tax, so car dealers will have to sorn till they sell, i would like to see a debate on tv where someone from dvla answers question from the public, the only advantage i see buyer and seller on even terms old system you could use 5 month tax as a selling point, or if one month tax buyer would use it as a bargaining tool, old story we the public will pay more

car tax
Posted: 8/29/2014 1:28:18 PM
read that tax discs are being scrapped, tax checked by cameras, when you buy a car you tax when bought, so if i buy at 10am does previous owner tax lasts till midnite, as you would drive home no tax, also i buy on mid month eg 15th does tax start that day or goes back to 1st, if thats the case buy a car 1st of month, ive noted dvla have not put a full page ad with details, i spoke to a car sales today they have not been informed of the changes, so opinions etc welcome

replica football kits rip off top £100
Posted: 5/31/2013 2:38:50 PM
in our local paper man city and utd childrens kits have gone over £100, i dont know where these kits are made now , but it wouldnt be as painful if they were all made locally, at least some fans would be employed, due to the cost of players wages is the bubble about to burst as with higher tickets and kits get out of reach of your average fan, if you have 2 childrens its a full weeks wages for some to get the latest kit. nike one of the makers could not be reached for comment

taxpayers will be paying for legal team plus the cost of keeping them, my mate in the pub who is ex army he would have shot them dead, theres a lot of extremists already in this country just hope others do copycat, also i should imagine support for the far right parties may increase, soldiers etc should be able to walk the streets in uniform as i should imagine if you killed a soldier in some countries you would lynched in the street

Why do employers use recruitment agencies?
Posted: 5/21/2013 7:58:58 AM
i worked for a major technical agency, it was rumored that the international company we was placed with ,actually owned part of the agency so if that was the case or if they owned it outright they are paying themselves in a way but it gives them flexability with the labor

Cynical Supermarkets?
Posted: 5/20/2013 11:24:00 PM
all supermarkets are full of sh1t, they seem to have a varying prices if bread is cheap this week they have increased the price say on toothpaste, ive been in a pound shop and found same product a third of the cost, ie a computor cable £1 in tesco £4, toothpaste £1 tesco £2 68, if you spend more than 50 quid 5p a liter of your fuel, most dont put in more than 30 liter , even if it was 50 that would be a saving of 2.50 , but profit they make on my examples swallows the petrol loss easy, i dont trust one word that comes out of their gobs, note how many have always sold british beef in their products in their adverts

Why do employers use recruitment agencies?
Posted: 5/20/2013 1:01:50 PM
ive work thru agencies, a employer has to pay 37 hrs to the worker even if the company isnt busy, some in our game base labour on 50 a hour, paye 11 a hour agency 19 , as work tails off agency layed off, at the shipyard over half are temps even thou some had been there 3 yrs, usually if you have your foot in the door as a temp you can apply for perm positions and this gives you a advantage

what can you do if your pics any pics get stolen and used/sold by others?
Posted: 5/6/2013 8:58:34 AM
well hairy aloe you have a good point there tesco and others just want info to sell on and keep tabs on customers, about pics some have sister sites and use them to swell the number of users, also scammers set up profiles using stolen pics, and facebook is just a public laudery

CSCS TEST
Posted: 4/24/2013 8:50:27 AM
at the naval base we went thru the questions some have 2 correct answers but you have to pick the one they want, i had to a fire watch on shipbuild my fire cert approved by marine coastal agency [ 4 day intensive course] wasnt recognised against a half day company one, but it is accepted by all worldwide shipping companys. i used to work building site on leave but my qualifications are not accepted, even some certs depending who did the courses may not be valid with some companies, its as if you pass your driving test in manchester, you cant drive in liverpool. a lot of it is blame culture you did the course so company played its part

conversation on POF for 3 days, then blocked ?
Posted: 4/2/2013 12:55:38 AM
even in the real world when you have been chatting to a lady in pub or club, go to toilet and she is engaged in conversation with someone else when you get back, i know a local lady who is also on here and gets 50 plus messages a day, she deletes all pasted messages, naked shots, also on her profile states pet hates being called babe hun etc, even these get blocked if they have already exchanged a few messages, or as a previous post press the block when clearing all the dross, then realising blocked wrong .

i can see your point a few years ago i was doing a ongoing plumbing job for a so called friend said she was low on cash payed me small amounts, then one day was over the moon with her new tattoo which must have cost a couple of hundred quid, money could have been for me as payment for work, needless to say our friendship ended, i have seen similar cant afford to pay, but can afford to pay for personal luxuries

thats correct i just got a mail off the lady in question it was a sister site, small print they can use your profile on sister site, which imo is fraud, so the genuine who are looking to meet others could be mailing them and they are not answering , now we know why, numbers game makes site look busy, afterall a payed site is a business, keep people interested even thou people they mail are not active on that site, stay on here the devil you know.

Borrowing money

you will find most pubs and workplaces have a serial borrower, we had one on a building site known as jimmy the tap, borrow £3 small amount over a site of 150 blokes , most wont ask for it back, some will move on to other jobs so they could end up with £100 of other folks money.

Courts and the justice system
Posted: 2/24/2013 11:11:24 AM
im not a lover of the system, i was in over council tax, i actually got the council to lie in court by saying that i was the owner of the house, i produced land registry docs stating i dont, case adjorned for me to get a legal rep, if it was me lying in court i would have been guilty, in the end it was crown and i won there, makes me think some judges actually work for council, as my local council is labour, labour club secretary was a JP, makes you think is it all one big club. end my case crown court judge sent me out and gave manchester council a bollocking

Horse meat scandal
Posted: 2/13/2013 11:35:43 PM
a few years ago when we had a high st butcher the meat was cut up on the premisis , but now done in faceless factorys all over europe so anything can happen, i sometime wonder what goes into pies now, one post said are mps got shares in these places after all max profit seems to be the priority, if we could return and USE a local butcher we would have a better idea of what we was being sold, i know one major supermarket has its own high st but that is just bullsh1t advertising, in my town only 2 butchers shops survive there was 28 at the peak, i know where i go for my meat
