Not the oldest chap

“Great-grandmother Laura Thomas is Britain's oldest driver instructor at the age of 94 - and has taught more than a thousand learners in 76 years behind the wheel. She's never been in an accident and none of her pupils take more than two attempts to pass their test.”

Good luck :)

Anyone?

Lol
No, anything. When I ate animals I’d have eaten budgie, dog, cat. I even once thought I saw a bowl of ice cream in the fridge so took a big spoonful only to realise I’d just shoved tripe in my mouth...awful.

Can’t wait to see the new svelte Vladster :)

My diet has changed again since my niece moved out, quick and fresh sums it up.
I can have a dinner knocked up in no time, minimum effort, maximum taste.
I didn’t used to bother much about what I put in my mouth but as an old ‘un it’s important I give myself what I need, not necessarily what I want.

Tubby ;) ......Someone once told me they ate 12 bananas a day, I called bullshit on that when I never saw them eat 1 in all the time I spent round them.
Surely moderation with everything is the key to success.

Fruits have never been my go-to food but I’ve learned to like them. I have it in my head they’ll help with my hydration when I’m stuck in an air-conditioned environment all day. So I’ve replaced other foods with fruit.

Brexit? A coup de grace?
Posted: 1/8/2019 1:13:55 PM
To be fair....posting a tweet or writing a letter/tv interview doesn’t take much concern either.
It’s very easy to fake revulsion with just minimal effort.

Looking forward to coming out the other side of brexit....are we gonna make it!

Women can't hold conversations, that's why they're here
Posted: 1/8/2019 12:50:44 PM
Boggled.....the man rant is usually ‘women don’t wanna meet, they just want to talk/fill their ego/boots/etc
As you can clearly see from the threads that women out number the men on here...we love to blah
Are you boring them? It’s easily done online when your ‘whole self ‘ isn’t evident.

*trigger* Have I broken it off too soon?

Weren't we rankled old women? I seem to remember that we were rankled too, or we were easily rankled by "youthful" optimism or some charming statement to that effect.

Pretty much yeh. I find those statements useless though. If I’m to have a go at someone prettier/slimmer/younger than me then that’s the reason, definitely not cos they’re a twat.....hmm really?

There is something to be said for youthful optimism though.
I know most people would like to have the knowledge and experience they have now back when they were young.
Not me. I’d rather return to the ignorance is bliss state again and unknow stuff lol

^^^I reckon someone tipped her off that it’s you actually scamming her lol :)

I broke up from work Friday. Great news. I had a few moments with another member of staff last day where we lost it. One of the kids unknowingly said something we found so funny. 52 or 3 and I completely lost control of my self. I tried to cough, pretend sneezed, I was so desperate to stop laughing. In the end I had to leave the room.
So inappropriate.
Last time that happened I was with my ma years ago at a funeral. What’s wrong with me.

Went to see Elf yesterday at Resort World Arena. One of my nieces is in it.
The lovely (I thought) David Essex is too.
Apparently he’s a bit of a diva and during rehearsals he was quite rude to everyone.
I suggested maybe he was just ‘staying in character’ :)
Still, fantastic show.
Going for breakfast with Santa this morning.
Christmas isn’t so bad I guess.

I’ll go out on a limb and be bold.
Most people who choose to remain single for a length of time are not hermits. They have friends, families, work......they spend plenty of time compromising and juggling all these relationships as well as any coupled persons.

Lonerwolf sounds so mystical and cool. I like the name.

LIR......I’m not sure if the link is inferring that all mental illness (like depression or psychosis) is a result of upbringing. I don’t agree with that. I believe some are born with it.
But otherwise spot on. Some people are very mild with it some are extreme.
We are all allowed dips into victimhood but long term it’s an ugly trait.

Or not.
That’s the negative (again). One positive is you’re less likely to end up in a shitty relationship for the sake of one. Swings and roundabouts.
I spend my day finding compromise. Kids on kids, teachers on kids, teachers on teachers. It’s what I do.
But yes it is nice at times not to have to consider others. That’s normal right.

Of course looks matter but fortunately it’s a very individual and subjective thing.

My friend for the first time has begun dating a guy who she would never normally be attracted to (she has a type) she’s finding something about him to be intrigued/interested in and she’s enjoying getting to know him.

I’ve never heard the expression before but then I don’t know many vegans.
I know more people who’ve replaced certain foods, cows milk for soya kinda thing.

Anyone with a daft obsession thing going on is irritating. I get the fussy eaters thing.

You’re a funny little character July.

Fussy eaters bore me too, can’t eat this, won’t touch that.
When guys get on my case about not eating meat/dairy/fish I usually present them with something they’re not keen on and demand they eat it :)
There are loads of foods I don’t like, I’m not fussy about it, I just don’t eat it.

I’d be more than likely interested in someone who’d took early retirement. Why and how they’ve managed to pull it off etc.
In my 20s/30s I’d this stupid idea that I’d retire at 45. I’m rubbish with maths and finance so I didn’t figure I’d need to bring planning ahead in to the equation.....duh!

I don’t align with any of them if I’m honest, they talk differently, act differently, live differently.

Msg 97. If only that was coming from a nice place.

I think the analogy fits well enough.
What’s survive? Just breathing? Yeh no one needs sex for that, you got it.
However some believe true survival is carried in our offspring and theirs etc.
And if we talk about someone’s overall wellbeing, part of their survival, then I’d say sex/intimacy with others is high up there.

Sissaa.....who’s running round proclaiming that?
