there's a perfectly good current one going on, same problem, new day.........

Trying very hard to be fair, POF is getting slightly better at deleting this stuff.
I have reported a couple of dozen in the last two days, all have been removed,
so someone is acting - I wish them luck, it's got to be a huge problem.

I see Mother Terasa is making overtures to Corbyn - in an attempt to sidestep the DUP,
which was an idiot mob to side with in the first plasce (imo) - unholy alliance time?
After the shit has finished hitting the fan, it really is time that if a serving party member
decides to shuffle off, there should be an immediate by-election, not just a continued
trip on the Gravy Train, which WE fund...........

(apologies to Sam Cooke)
Are we heading for a financial crash, the like of which we've not seen for many years?
I have a friend in the construction (supply) business - he's saying that there are many
new housing estates where nothing is selling and the developers are reneging on
promises of health centres, shops and the like.
We are in a cleft stick here, if Brexit happens & it all goes t*ts up,
leaving the EU will get the blame - if we stay in & it all goes down the toilet, Europe will get blamed.
Interesting times?

When I and 17+million voted Leave - most of us were stupid enough to think that HMG
would put wheels in motion, y'know little things like trade agreements & transport logistics.
Instead we have Parliament pi**ing about trying to lose the whole thing in the long grass.
What is the bluddy point of throwing a ballot if you ain't gonna like the answer?
(I'm reminded of my ex who wanted a 'proper valuation' of our property holdings,
done by an agent of her choosing, only to stamp her foot like a five year old in Court
and refuse to accept the figures) - 'Be reasonable, do it My way comes in to play.......
Well HMG I've been reasonable & you've effectively told me to fvck off.
Democracy died this week in this Country - sad but true.
I may now reluctantly have to decide NOT to vote in any politically driven ballot again.
(National or local)
At least that way I can say 'not my fault mate' - I didn't vote.

Back in t' day, when all this were fields, there used to be a
search for intimate encounters which was stuffed with prossies
of all ages (& sizes) - then Marcus cleaned it all up, to flog it
to Match (I got a forum ban for forecasting that) & much of
the entertaining idiocy of the place got lost & along
with it a bit of a sense of fun - this place is now grey & dismal,
not unlike Britain in the 1950s.............

I think you just answered your own question -
Dating sites (probably) work well in large metropolitan areas
with fair numbers of possibles aged around 35 - 50.
After that it all gets a bit thin - in a rural area it gets very thin.
You seem to be doing the 'real life' stuff, and hopefully,
when you least expect it, you may yet meet 'the one'.
Good luck, I hope it all works out for you..........

Any over 70 who remember the pre TV era when Radio was king?
Posted: 1/25/2019 2:06:58 AM
You're a bit older than me - we had a tv in 1953, for the Coronation -
not much to watch as I recall.....I remember on the radio
'lost in space' (weekdays) 'rays a laugh' 'round the horn'
'the navy lark' & 'whacko' - oh yes & Larry the Lamb
(listen with mother) - later on, the top 20 with David Jacobs -
I grew up with the sanitised BBC TV News (nothing changes)
and the various tv pop shows.
I despair at a lot of the stuff on tv, it's either a load of idiots
screaming (bit like Parliament) or made for oldies tv junk..........
........ now what did I do with that stairlift leaflet............?

At last, having spent the weekend at her personal five-star hotel in the Chilterns,
St Tereasa the Maybot emerges triumphant, clutching (wait for it) A FIVE YEAR PLAN (for the NHS)
This was the same sort of shite that Labour used to trot out in the Sixties.
Corbyn will love it.
Anyone else this side of Westminster can be heard sobbing gently, head in hands.
