Bachelor food

Cooking is hard for just one person, unless it is something you love and can freeze it and eat it over and over. But for me, if I cannot microwave it, or put it between slices of bread, I dont eat. I also eat lots of fruit, apples, bananas, and Ilove thos ecanned mandarin oranges.

The worst breakup line ever
Posted: 8/20/2008 5:34:27 AM
Well, there is a big difference in loving someone (or somethng) and being "in love" with someone. I can honestly say that I love my sisters and brothers. I love my neices and nephews. I love my dog. But, that is not being "In Love"

cure for shoplifters
Posted: 3/2/2008 4:58:20 AM
On the surface it sounds like a great idea "IF" it is someone who has been caught and convicted of shoplifting. But, if it is a picture of someone who may "APPEAR" to be "helping themsselves", in a stil photograph, it is a bad thing.
Never, never, never take a still photograph as proof of anything.
Many people put full faith into video as well, but, even some video, without audio can be misleading and taken for something that it isnt.

their not suppose to reject me?
Posted: 2/26/2008 11:57:19 AM
Just as an example, your profile reads you are 38. Then, in the "About Me" section, you say that is incorrect. OK, BUT YOU DONT SAY WHAT YOUR CORRECT AGE IS ???? I think this is a ploy used by players, so you can adjust up or down depneding on which "sucker" you reel in. Just how freakin' old are you?
Secondly, I think you are assuming that "unattractive" people are desparate and find it hard to belive they are not begging for that second date so they can jump your bones.
Just try honesty. It really does work.
Look at me..I am an independantly wealthy, international superstar but, as you see, very humble.

My dog is dying
Posted: 2/21/2008 4:52:17 AM
I have a 15 year old beagle named Casey, who I had since he was 5 weeks. He is my best friend but I know he is beginning to fail and will not be with me much longer. He lost his hearing several years ago but his quality of life is still good.
I think the best thing to do is keep remembering the good times you have been through and know that your pet is going to be free of pain and discomfort.
Be thankful for having him, not sorry for losing him.

Sex on the First Date
Posted: 11/29/2007 11:46:00 AM
Robin Williams once said "God gave man a brain and a penis....but only enough blood to run one at a time!" If he is looking for sex on first date, its obvious that was the only thing he was after.

It is pretty obvious that the only "ridicule" he is fearing is his own. He is thinking

Did you ever see the movie "Shallow Hal"?

I think that Prolibertate hit the nail on the head. It is like sending out a 'form letter'. Send the same, pretyped letter to 100 customers and hope that 10 percent respond.
Another name is "junk mail' and should be treated like that.

High speed police chases

I guess there is a decison of when to chase and when to let go. Obviously, chasing someone who ran a red ligth is not worth the risk to innocent bystanders.

what to do if?

How long before Christmas did he leave? When will he return?
One possibility is that he will return with a very special gift. The other possibility is that he is just a typical man... I know, because I am one.

Death of an ex
Posted: 12/16/2006 8:16:33 AM
Well, I have not gone through this personally but maybe I can give you some comfort. You loved this person and feel the loss. Criticize the performance..not the performer. It had nothing to do with your love for him. You did not leave him, you left the addiction. You can continue to love someone even though you may no longer be "in love" with them.

Guys who push too far too fast.
Posted: 11/2/2006 12:45:58 PM
I agree with Jui Jitsu. It sounds like the guy who wants to meet "RIGHT NOW" is probably after sex. And, there is a good chance he is married or in a relationship and has only certain nights he can get away. Maybe wifey poo is out of town and he wants a quickie. Or, vice versa..maybe he is a business traveler in town for a short time. Either way he is a player and someone to avoid.
By the way, lets go out tonight, you gorgeous hunk of womanhood !!!
Just kidding

Posted: 10/30/2006 5:21:15 AM
It sounds like this man is what is known as a schmoozer. He says what he thinks the other person wants to hear at that time. He was obviously not in love with you. You can love someone without being "in love" with them. I can almost guarantee that he did NOT just meet this woman over the weekend. Kenny Rogers has a song titled "Know whe to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em"
Genevieve...it is time to "fold" and move on with your life.

rejection at first sight
Posted: 10/29/2006 4:13:32 AM
Sometimes it helps if you have a couple of phone conversations first. You can tell much about a persons personality on the phone. For erxamle, one turn off are those talkers who never let you get a word in edgewise, or they sound immature. But, as someone else said, if you are not sure, set the first meeting for coffee or a drink, orjust lunch. However, if you make a date you should keep it and "tough it out" for a few hours.

When do you tell your girlfriend that you just got yourself a ton of money...
Posted: 10/26/2006 2:13:56 PM
There are only 3 occassions that I would tell her. NEVER, NEVER, and NEVER. It is impossible to have your girlfriend become your financial advisor, even if she is a good one.

why do woman say
Posted: 10/22/2006 5:06:55 AM
This is just some friendly advice and I hope that it does not offend you.

1. Get rid of the rodent in your profile pictures. It just isnt the place for that.
2. Let your hair grow out. Most mature women are turned off by the 'shaved' look.
3. I may be mistaken, but your picture looks as if you have not shaved.

Plentyoffish, Now with Flowers.
Posted: 10/20/2006 12:35:40 PM
I visited your flower site. I think it is a great idea. Maybe you should also have some smaller items, like asingle rose or soemthing. I am certainly not a cheapo but $36 for someone you only know form POF is a bit expensive. If I know them well enough to send flowers, I would probably use a local florist.

Just a thought,

Wake up and smell the coffee, young lady. Does he always come to your place? Have you ever been to his home? I can almost bet that this turkey is not only just after sex, he is probably married.

Why do I always have to do the chasing..........
Posted: 10/18/2006 5:46:40 AM
Dear Spy101
Please dont take offense at this, but......I think it may help if you post a different picture. Your photo is a distance shot with your hand in front of your face. I think that people are turn off by this. Ideally you need a close up from the shoulders up and let them see your smile and your eyes.

Is It Okay to Post One's Profile on More Sites Than POF?
Posted: 9/24/2006 5:45:50 AM
My dear woman, Why do you have concerns about being on more than one site? POF is a good site, but not everyone knows about it. It is possible that Mr. Right is sitting out there on another site wondering where YOU are. Let me ask you this. If you were looking for a good pair of shoes, would you only go to one store? And, if that store did not have the perfect pair, would you sit in there until they did? or would you try a few other stores?
My name is Bill and I am from Delaware
