You should be looking in other pastures.

Would you reject someone because of something in their profile?

Wine gives me a headache too! My profile lists me a nondrinker and nonsmoker but you would be surprised at the number of people that want to meet in a bar.

What is friends first?
Posted: 9/13/2008 1:26:05 PM
When the head line of a profile reads "Friends first" or something like it, the author just wants someone to buy them dinner a couple times then decide that thats as far as the relationship is going.....I just don't bother with those people.

Talking to someone who seems overly comfortable with you....BEFORE even meeting

Do these adjectives apply to every waitress or checkout lady in the country?

Private about phone number
Posted: 9/6/2008 8:01:05 AM
I won't meet people unless I get a chance to talk to them on the phone less chance of miscomminicating the day and time etc... Perhaps you can solve the phone issue by using on distinctive ring for work calls and one for all other calls, many phones have this feature.

Who likes coffee for a frist date??
Posted: 8/31/2008 11:14:43 AM
I like the idea of coffee for the first date, it gives both parties an opportunity to meet each other without having to spend a large amount of time with someone they just don't like. Ive met people for coffee that had posted pictures that were at least 15 yrs old. The coffee date is really just to make sure everyone is who they present themselves as..

percentage lying about age

I suppose the percentage of men lying about their age is about the same as women lying about their weight.

He brought his Fanny with him...

A fanny pack is a utility item, not an item of clothing. I use one when I go out jogging, which poses the question why aren't exercise clothes made with pockets for keys and ID's???????

Would you date someone on antidepressants?
Posted: 7/7/2008 6:36:34 AM
I dated a woman that occasionally took antidepressants and we had a pretty good relationship. Im thinking that the exact diagnossi is more relevant than the prescription. Mild clinical drepression vs manic phychotic depression..... I would go with the first but not the second!

Is it just me, or are testimonials a turn off ?
Posted: 6/22/2008 10:37:31 AM
The testimonials are a bad thing! Ive read some really nasty stuff about people who were (in my opinion) nice. Then there are the idiots...Maybe they forgot the "Don't kiss and tell" rule. The tetimonials should be discontinued.

First Dates!!!
Posted: 3/23/2008 5:20:58 PM
Men and Women put "the walk on the beach" and "the cozy fire" and "Chilled wine " junk in their profiles because its the romantic crap that they see in the movies. I almost married a girl (and should have) I met for coffee at a local coffee shop sooooo wouldn't that make it a romantic "hotspot"?
