Triangle Get Together...
Posted: 7/18/2007 6:51:35 PM
Okay, Looks like this gathering will have about the same attendance as the first.
And I may have to beg off to work.
Here's the deal: 98 people viewed and only 4 replies.
Maybe it is just not the season to be doing get togethers, eh?

Triangle Get Together...
Posted: 7/3/2007 8:38:29 AM
Well, alrighty then, the initial, inaugural, first, numero uno, germinal, beginning, cardinal, inceptive Triangle Get Together was not well attended. We had four POF’ers show up and have a few dwinks and have fun.
The problem with a meeting like that is that someone has to get elected to plan the next.
Vicki has picked a Wonderful Place: The Carolina Ale House at Brier Creek. Nicely appointed and convenient to Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.
A wonderful time to Meet & Greet: Saturday afternoon at 4:00 pm.
So, all we need now is more people to show up.
Oh, we need a Date to do this: I get to choose this, July 21st, 2007.
Any other suggestions are appreciated. Be forewarned that too many suggestions earn the suggester the honor of being the Next Planner.
No RSVP’s, No Cover, No Problems…

Not True. The Raleigh Durham area and people are fantastic for partying.
Hell, Raleigh is the state's largest down east town or at least it used to be before all the damnyankees moved in. And a down east town is known for bbq, beer drinkin' and loud beach music. That's what Southern parties are all about.

Today is Ocho de Mayo. Didn't hear of any plan(s) for a getogether.
Sad, eh.
How does anyone expect to meet someone without, er... well, meeting?

Ok People Over 50. Sign In
Posted: 9/19/2006 3:17:19 AM
The way I'm reading this suject is that you shouldn't sign in unless you are Ok and over 50. Well, I am over 50 (a bit). BUT, I am way better than just Ok (just ask me). Love where I'm at in life and am still learning about the wonders of the world.
