Hypothetical - The Ex and Winning the Lottery

Funnier still, is I'm not pretentious. I don't know either of them, or who treated whom how. So I take logic, with so little to go on ;)

Married to a Disabled Wife

It may be an odd thing to say, but you've got plenty of advice above on so much that you purposely left out or wasn't clear on. Sometimes though I ask myself. If stuck with the choice oc being happy, or being right, I'll take right everytime. At least I know I went as a good man.

edit: I've lived it, to prove it.

Hypothetical - The Ex and Winning the Lottery

I'd set up an account with enough money to have my payments, or my part automatically withdrawn and deposited in her account. then I'd move on.

It's obvious the women in this thread are on your ex's side.

I would've personally left it with the text. Messaging here also, looks like you're trying all angles, my opinion. Honestly, I'm dead the first 2-3 days out of the week. Generally I won't hardly talk to anyone that's not face to face, or work required, till I come back alive :P

Would men even consider being friends first?
Posted: 11/27/2012 5:25:33 AM
Then say Hi back to those that just say Hi, and ignore the ones that want to marry you. We're constantly judged by whatever line we use at the moment, or criticized for not being original. Hi, is OK in my books.

It's never been an issue for me, but then again I'm 5'11" also. I guess it would bother some men, but there's so many other characteristics to worry about as well. You're very cute, young, you'll do fine. What doesn't work, don't worry about, and move on to what does.

HELP! Kid Issues
Posted: 11/25/2012 8:13:14 AM
If you do bring it up, and I think you should. Have ideas, not complaints. She's the mother, she knows who they are. To help her is a lot better than trying to inform her.
As others said, I doubt you're the first, and they're thinking you won't be the last.

I can give it to you in the short form. Don't stay for the kids sake, you do more harm than good. Been there, made that mistake. Don't count on dating sites, they suck. Get out into the real word as much as you can, mingle.

The irony of your post is, I was thinking the same the other day about women. I see more women with fish than guys.. admittedly however I don't click guy profiles.

An old man use to tell me, before I was one of them, "If you want to find out who your friends are, run out of beer"

Been there done that dude. It can suck at times, but it's worth it.

can a girl look too old fashioned?
Posted: 11/21/2012 5:40:50 AM
It depends on what you're looking for, what type of guy. If you like the way you look, then no, because there's always going to be someone that likes the way you are. If you're trying to impress people you wouldn't normally be compatitble with, why?
As opposed to looking loose and slutty look, I'd prefer the "old fashioned" to some degree.

How does a woman who is disabled present herself correctly?
Posted: 11/15/2012 6:50:08 PM
Other than stating you're disabled, you're really not going through anything the rest of us don't. We start out, and for some reason the messages die. There's thousands of post on that one alone.

Why Does Our Society Look Down On Unemployed Men So Much?
Posted: 10/2/2012 4:19:24 PM
I'm sorry, no sympathy here. I was laid off twice since 07, when this all started. I took jobs that were half or more than what I was accustomed to. Meanwhile I see people whining about having two BAs and they're not going to waste them on menial work...lol that guy's still unemployed almost 3 yrs later... anyways. I worked, and I feel the same way you did, about people looking down on me because of what I did for work. I didn't care, I worked, almost at the same rate of pay as unemployment would've paid. I went through 3 of those jobs, and finally latched on to a future again, doing quite well now. Would I have, sitting around on the government dole, probably not. Cpmplacency would've set in most likely. I've said since I was a teenager, only those that don't want to, don't. The rest will do what it takes.

Get a job.

I still love my wounded ex. What should I do?
Posted: 9/28/2012 3:31:40 PM
Both previous post told you he's using an excuse. I first thought same thing. Regardless of all the rest, if a man wants a woman, and knows she wants him. Nothing would stop him. Weirder things have happened, so if what you say is so, then it's the odd one out.

When you block someone do they stay blocked?
Posted: 9/17/2012 5:03:42 PM

when you block someone it should block their IP not just their username...

While I see the logic behind that, whats to stop someone from logging in from another ip address...

I constantly change my IP, then there's dynamic IP's, more and more people are learning to use Proxies, There's block IP's in foreign countries, so you'd block a ton, and the list goes on. Usually, block on a website's good enough. You can message support, but as someone mentioned. A whacko's a whacko, and they'll always find a way.

Why do some men not want to meet – only chat?
Posted: 9/9/2012 7:16:36 AM
No-one can tell you why he does what he does, other than guess. Which you could do better than anyone else, since you're in the thick of it.

However, if you enjoy the chat, keep chatting, but keep shopping. You could always go straight to the horse and ask.

27 widower with three daughters 5,3 and 2 any advice on finding someone?

I didn't read the entire thread, so if I missed it, my apologies. There's a club for single parents. It's not for dating, but something to do for kids and adults. I met a wonderful woman there once, I highly recommend it. Google it, not sure if I can post links here.

would this be a dealbreaker?
Posted: 9/4/2012 3:34:54 PM
It's private, unless they share it. If you're going to use everyone's past as a deal breaker, you've got a long wait for a perfect woman. Religious or not, "judge not, less you be judged" applies at all times. Why don't you tell us about your past.

I thought this was intersting, and just a tip of the iceberg.

A New York woman has confessed to signing up for the online dating service Match.com because she was going into debt and wanted free food the dates would provide her. Going on five dates a week she “made” up to $1200 a month.

Coffee, Drinks or Dinner first date?
Posted: 8/28/2012 4:12:28 PM
I don't mind covering the cost of a meetup, and if I ask you out then, and you accept. I definitely expect to cover that too. I, myself, was referrng to agreeing to meetup for coffee/drinks, and before I even get there it becomes lunch/dinner.

"stop by on the way home"

I hadn't tried that. The fact that guys ask makes me wonder..... does it work?

Is too much technology affecting children's creativity/imagination?
Posted: 8/20/2012 5:07:06 PM
Imaginations come from open minds. As we get older, due to life's experiences, they narrow. Imaginations build off of what they know. Technology doesn't have any effect on it, they just create more technology.

Clean clothes, phone, xbox, who's paying for them? Who's in control? Use the tools you've got. We all love them, and they know it. Sometimes loving them is doing it the hard way.
