Embarrassing automobile horror stories
Posted: 9/20/2006 5:17:54 PM
I have worked in Auto Parts many years and the funnest was they business man dressed in his suit nice shoes came up to the parts counter and asked for a 710 cap for his Corvette as his was leaking.Being new myself I looked in all my books and on the computer no such luck I gave him a rag asking him to bring it in to see if I could get an oem# off of it.He returns hands me the cap and look to find OIL upside down looks like 710 we both almost fell over laughing.

Rode for years without ever being a passenger then my bike broke down and a friend gave me a ride to the bike shop I hated it he thought he would try and impress me by lane splitting and doing crazy stuff we stopped at a light I got off and told him I was taking the bus he just stared at me then drove off not looking he almost got t-boned as he drove thru a red light I think my guardian angel was watching me that day

song lyrics that describe your mood

Serenity
by Godsmack

As I sit here and slowly close my eyes
I take another deep breath
And feel the wind pass through my body
I'm the one in your soul
Reflecting inner light
Protect the ones who hold you
Cradling your inner child

I need serenity
In a place where I can hide
I need serenity
Nothing changes, days go by

Where do we go when we just don't know
And how do we relight the flame when it's cold
Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

Tragic visions slowly stole my life
Tore away everything
Cheating me out of my time
I'm the one who loves you
No matter wrong or right
And every day I hold you
I hold you with my inner child

I need serenity
In a place where I can hide
I need serenity
Nothing changes, days go by

Where do we go when we just don't know
And how do we relight the flame when it's cold
Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

Where do we go when we just don't know
And how do we relight the flame when it's cold
Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing
And when will we learn to control

I need serenity

Anybody in to motocycle racing/riding?
Posted: 8/17/2006 6:15:17 PM
I sold my 1986 Honda NS400R last year a nice little 2 stroke street bike parts were getting hard to find thank God for Ebay.
I also used to Corner Marshal at Motorcycle Races in Coquitlam BC Canada and at Seattle International Raceway. That was fun bikes going by you at 180 inches away while you wave a flag. Running out on the track to pick them up after a crash. If you have a racetrack near you I recomend getting involved with the marshals or safety crew it's a blast.
