Being a virgin
Posted: 3/21/2013 1:14:14 PM
I was still a virgin at 25 and only lost my virginity by going out and paying for a prostitute to have sex with. I wasn't shy with girls as I used to approach loads, but none of them seemed the slightest bit interested in me. I still haven't managed to get a girlfriend yet despite now being 46 and having approached literally thousands of women. I don't know what the hell I am doing wrong, I just can't seem to get women to become interested in me.

Swinging
Posted: 3/20/2013 8:55:37 AM
The trouble is most swinging clubs do not allow single guys so if you are single it is not a good way to get sex. I know a few women but none of them are interested in joining the swinging scene and none of the women I know want to go out with me so I am finding it hard to get any sex at all.

Aspergers and intense sex drive/interest.
Posted: 3/20/2013 8:51:50 AM
I think I have mild autism as I have always been rubbish with women and never managed to get a date when I was younger. In fact the only dates I have been on have been with a few women from the internet who I then never heard from again. I never used to think I was autistic until I started reading about it. For example I had obsessions as a child, I didn't know how to hold interesting conversations and I didn't know how the hell to talk to girls in order to get dates with them. For example I read a while back that when autistic people try to chat up girls they will try to deliver a whole paragraph as the opening line and I then realised that was what I was like when I tried to talk to girls. Also I was a very bad conversationalist so hated having to talk to girls for ages before going for the kiss or even being able to hold their hand. Because of this I think I put off loads of girls because they thought I was too forward as I would to get romantic with them far too soon. I am also bad looking and always thought it was just my looks that were putting girls off me, but some friends told me that it wasn't my bad looks that were putting girls off me but my bad approaches to them.

Speed Dating

You don't have to just judge women on their looks in DIY speed dating either. But come on looks are most of it in any form of dating.

Speed Dating
Posted: 2/27/2013 3:27:10 AM
I do DIY speed dating, ie talk to attractive women around town for a few minutes each then either invite them for a coffee or if they don't have the time for that ask if we can meet up again and take their phone number. It actually works as I know a few people who are good at this. Even stopping women in the street can work well because women usually only get stopped in the street by people who want to sell them something or sign them up to some charity, so when they get stopped and complimented they are really pleased. The best way to stop a woman in the street is to walk in front of her by about 10 feet then turn to face her and say: "Excuse me, can I say something really quickly?" Then if they stop continue with "I literally just saw you and thought you looked really nice so I wanted to come and say hello" or "I really like your style, how you are dressed." Then start making assumptions about her like; "You look foreign but you sound English", and then after a couple of minutes of small talk tell her you would like to take her for a coffee at a local cafe.

Pregnancy fetish chat
Posted: 1/12/2013 12:39:14 PM
No it is not. I have met several pregnant women who were quite flattered that I found them sexy. That is because most pregnant women think they look very unattractive while they are pregnant which makes them feel sad, so are quite pleased when someone tells them they look great and sexy.

Contact History - what's yours?
Posted: 1/10/2013 4:26:20 AM
I have never noticed that before, but according to mine I have been contacted first 576 times since Dec 2011!!! And made first contact 28 times, no real discrepancy there then..
That is the problem with dating sites. There are far more men on them than women so guys don't really have much chance on them unless they are extremely good looking. One thing that puzzled me when I first started using these sites back in 2001 was why I was getting so few replies despite sending out hundreds and hundreds of messages. Then I decided to look at the number of female members and the number of male members and found that there were four times the number of male members. So I think if you are a guy and want to get a date you are far better off going out into the real world to meet women rather than online.

Job interviews
Posted: 1/10/2013 4:21:17 AM

Not appropriate under any circumstance!!!! And very unprofessional if attempted.
But she could be the girl of your dreams though. So there should be some way of letting her know you are interested in her. In my case I thought I had my chance when she said "is there anything you want to ask me about the job". I tried as hard as I could to think of some way of letting her know I was interested in her but couldn't. But there must be ways. I think I could have said something like; "What about promotion prospects, how did you get to your position in the company did you get promoted?". Then when she explains that say something like; "Well you seem a really ambitious career minded woman, those are the qualities I like in a woman". Something like that very subtle.

Most likely it was a hoax as there are loads of hoaxers and scammers on dating sites. My advice is don't be taken in by them if a woman contacts you first and seems to good too be true then they almost certainly are. See this: http://www.hoax-slayer.com/internet-dating-scams.shtml

I once went a job interview and the interviewer was this extremely attractive woman. I wanted to let her know I fancied her but didn't know how to without being too direct. In such a situation does anyone know what to do so that you can let the woman know you like her without wrecking the interview?

The rules

I read some of it in a bookshop recently and it seems rubbish. It bascially tells women to play hard to get. They do that anyway so playing even harder to get is just going to put most men off as they will give up trying when a woman seems too uninterested in them unless they are a stalker.

Well one thing is for sure...If Iran or any other country were to use anything remotely like a WMD on mainland America then im pretty sure our American friends would quite literally bomb Iran/any other country back into the dark ages.
I don't think there is any actual WMD threat to America from Iran. They Iranians wouldn't be that stupid as to attack either the USA or Israel.

Iran
Posted: 12/4/2012 5:49:57 AM
It looks like a war with Iran is not going to happen now. Israel would never launch a war with Iran on its own because of fear of retaliation. It would only go to war with Iran if America joined it as America is the only country with enough military bases in the Middle East to fight a successful war. But even if America was willing to go to war with Iran it would not want to go to war alone so it would need to build a coalition of allies first like it did for the Iraq war.

Another reason why there wont be war with Iran is that Russia and China are strongly against it. They are global superpower with enormous influence and America would not want to upset them. Plus if the US and Israel wanted UN backing for any military action given that they are UN security council permanent members those two countries would veto and UN decision to invade or attack Iran.

Thirdly President Obama is far less reckless than George Bush was. He knows that involving the USA in another major war would make him deeply unpopular and so is keen to avoid any military confrontation with Iran. Especially since he won the last two elections partly on anti-war feeling amongst the American public.

They are still concerned about Iran's nuclear weapons programme though. I expect things will really hot up over Iran over the next few months. And it could be all out war by the spring as even the USA has stated that the world needs to get tough with Iran to stop it getting a nuclear bomb.

When Will the Job situation improve in the UK?
Posted: 10/22/2012 5:02:30 AM
Unemployment will stop rising when mass immigration stops. People keep saying that immigration does not cause unemployment but that defies logic. Because if say you have one million job vacancies and one million unemployed then all the unemployed should be able to get a job, but say you import a hundred thousand extra people then even if every job vanancy is filled by an unemployed person you will still have one hundred thousand unemployed left over. I don't know why people who are in favour of immigration can't see that.

events near or in Aberdeen area?
Posted: 10/18/2012 8:06:39 AM
I am pretty sure that there haven't been any plenty of fish events ever in Aberdeen. So if you want one to happen you would have to organise one yourself. Just pick a large fairly empty city centre pub and invite people along for a night there. Tell the staff at the pub you are hosting a party and they might set aside a table or an alcove and let you put a notice on it.

Nick Clegg has said he is sorry
Posted: 9/28/2012 8:55:41 AM
Nick Clegg should never have said he was sorry! He is a victim of the something for nothing culture. Young people already have free education in the form of school and college education. Why should they also have free university education? In America they would have to pay an absolute fortune far higher than the fees that are being introduced here. The country is in massive debt and cuts need to be imposed in oder to reduce the national debt. I am angry at Nick Clegg for acting like a coward and not explaining to the simpletons just why they should pay their way and why spending cuts are needed.

What is the difference between a bar and a pub?
Posted: 9/28/2012 8:50:48 AM
Bars are American venues which sell beer. America has never had pubic houses which originated in England and were originally peoples houses which were licensed to sell beer. The main difference is that a bar is not also used as a home. America also used to have saloons which were the closest they ever had to English style pubs as they also had a accomadation as well a bit like Old English coaching Inns.

Stonecastle, are you saying Marxist regimes are not inspired by the works of Karl Marx ?

Apart from a planned economy what other policies recommended by Karl Marx in his book the communist manifesto have the regimes of North Korea and the former Soviet Union ever implemented? You should have a look at a British based socialist party and see how different it is from the ideology of those regimes: http://www.socialistworker.co.uk

If Karl Marx only knew how cruel the system inspired by him would be .Are you implying that the gulags in Stanlinist Russia were the best humanity could do ?
What about Mao's China ,was that also Utopia ?
Do I have to mention the current North Korean regime ?

Karl Marx envigished a system of society democratically run by the workers with accountable officials and elected workers councils. And an economic system based on production for need not profit! How does that resemble the regimes of so called communist countries like North Korea? The supportors of capitalism want us to beleive that there is no alternative to wage slave capitalism so they keep repeating the lie that countries like Stalinist Russia were socialist when in reality all their shared with socialism was a planned economy.

I don't think that people were much more gullable before we had science. And do think that people like Jesus were genuine. For example Jesus performed some pretty amazing feats that would have been extremely difficult to fake. And why would he willingly go to his death and if the ressurection story about him is false why is there no sacred site where he was buried? Every other religious leader from Buddha to Mohamed has sacred site where they were buried. None such site exists for Jesus and that is unique amongst major religious gurus.

Furthermore why is Jesus written about by people who were anti-Christian. He is mentioned by Orthodox Jews in the Talmud who write about his death and claim he was killed for performing sorcery - ie miracles. He is also mentioned by none christian historians such as Josephus, Tacticus and Plyny.

It seems that some none religious people will never accept the supernatural just as many religious people will never accept evolution or accept that many parts of the Bible are not true.

Religion and modern relationships, is there a basic conflict?
Posted: 8/7/2012 4:58:24 AM
Why the hell does Christianity consider sex outside marriage a sin? Actually if you read the Bible there is no clear condemnation of sex outside marriage at all check out: www.libchrist.com
Some Bible references which people think condemn sex outside marriage are "keep the marriage bed sacred do not defile it with fornication" - This could be referring specifically to a bed that a married couple sleep in. In other words do not have sex in a bed which is used by a married couple to sleep in.
"Abstain from fornication" - The word fornication comes from the word fornix, which meant arches where prostitutes plied their trade, so this could really be saying abstain from prostitution.
"To avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife and every woman have her own husband" - This could mean that marriage is the best defence against prostitution as married people should have no need to turn to prostitution for sexual gratification.
"If a woman sleeps with a man in her fathers house she plays the harlot" - This could simply mean that a woman is not to have sex with her lover in her fathers house.
"If a woman tells her husband she is a virgin on her wedding night but is found out not to be then he should take her to her fathers house and stone her to death" - This could mean that the real sin is lying about being a virgin as in ancient times virgin brides were highly prized. It was well known though in ancient times for none virgin girls to marry.
"A priest must marry a virgin who has not been a prostitute." Here is in the only clear condemnation of sex outside marriage, but it applies only to priests. It could therefore be concluded that it is OK for none clergy to marry none virgins.

Olympics Opening Ceremony
Posted: 8/6/2012 4:18:42 AM

They said the Olympics cost us £9 billion, so lets say the working population of this country is around 25 million (Some say 18 million some say 30 million), that means we paid roughly £360 each for it, that's if the £9 billion was solely from the tax payer, am not too sure. It's a lot of money though, I could have thought of better ways to spend my £360, like helping NHS cuts and other important things that have suffered from cuts that we need.
That 9 billion is an investment. There are already plans for the Olympic site to turn it into a housing and business area. Plus from that 9 billion you have to deduct money from ticket sales and sponsorship. The long term effect of the games should boost the British economy and should pay for itself eventually.
