Divorced Vs Separated
Posted: 3/6/2009 12:56:46 AM
Yes definitely put "Separated" and a short explanation. You've been separated an awfully long time... I know I wouldn't date someone who is freshly separated (at least a year), as the possibility that they are not yet ready to move on is greater in this time period. Time does heal all wounds and if it's just that some papers have yet to be filed in court, I'd say you're as dateable as someone who is single or divorced.

I have been separated for almost six years.

I rarely get questioned as to why such a long separation without divorce. It's not really all that uncommon these days. Everyone has their reasons... usually it's finance. Divorce can get expensive, especially if both parties cannot come to agreement easily (which is more likely when the marriage dissolution is fresh). Every visit to the lawyer and every amendment to the Order costs money. In my case, it's that I feel that HE should file for divorce, since he's the one who chose to cheat, and then chose to leave. He wanted out, so he should formally end it... though it's looking like I may just have to go ahead and do it myself.

Pay Attention To The DONT SEND MONEY Statement

Yes, absolutely do not send any money. Keep posting and your posts will show up in your profile. There's no other way to turn it on except to post.

Also, some jails do have computers for the inmates' use.

stomping on the ex
Posted: 1/25/2007 2:08:19 PM

My son gets off the phone crying all the time after he talks to his dad. He always asks why his dad doesn't take him, and he doesn't understand.

Would it be fair to your son to revoke visitation altogether? He wants to see his dad.

Porn. Love it? Hate it? Think its a Crime? Cant follow the Storyline?
Posted: 1/16/2007 6:59:07 PM
There's a storyline? lol. Oh right, that part at the beginning that everyone skips past. lol

Nothing wrong with the music. Bow chicka bow wow

I agree with Em..... as long as it's not exploiting children (or animals) and isn't hurting anyone or negatively affecting a relationship, then it's ok.

I don't love it, don't hate it, it's just ok. I prefer erotica over porn.

New Years Eve 2006
Posted: 1/1/2007 10:13:00 PM
Well I had a really good time, and am glad I went out.

Thanks EverHeart for the shooters. Who would have thought a dirty hooker would taste so good?? And sorry I botched up my first blowjob and turned into a come-on-my-tits instead. lol.

It was nice to see everyone -such a great turnout! There were lots of familiar faces, and some new ones too.

Thanks to the DJ for playing a great selection of music and getting me up on the dance floor.

Happy New Year to everyone and all the best in 2007.

What did you feed your snowblower today?
Posted: 12/31/2006 11:36:00 AM
No snowblower here, but I was out shovelling this morning. All I got was snow - and lots of it! There's no way I can get out until they come and plow. There were three cars stuck in the parking lot here, so even if I managed to get my car out of my stall, I still wouldn't be able to go anywhere. Ugh. Winter!

Boxing Day* Madness!!
Posted: 12/26/2006 9:46:00 AM
I ventured out last night around 7 pm and saw that there were people already lined up at Visions. Crazy!

Steamer: no online shopping for this one but Superstore has Sandisk 512 mb memory card for $9.98 (but I found the same price at Future shop online a while back) or Kingston 1 GB card with reader for 19.98. Don't forget to print the online coupon from superstore.ca if you go. It's for a free 1.89L bottle of PC cranberry c0cktail when you spend $25 before taxes. LOL me and my coupons... or check redflagdeals (dot) com/forums any time for deals. That's where I found the Future Shop memory card deal (among other deals)

I do need a new tv and have some money put away for it. I'll be heading to Visions myself after work to see if there's anything left. If not, oh well. It wasn't worth spending the night outside with the kids lol... or getting trampled...

Stocking Stuffers... HELP
Posted: 12/23/2006 1:55:08 PM
I agree with sally0

A can of pringles and/or a can of shaving cream will take up most of the room. Throw in a search word or soduku book, some gum, a chocolate bar, soap, toothpaste... I wouldn't go all out for the ex's stocking lol. If you have any shampoo samples or other samples you got in the mail but didn't use, those work.

LOL at TAINT. It's actually called a perinium... lol.

per·i·ne·um

The region between the scrotum and the anus in males, and between the posterior vulva junction and the anus in females.

As for tang vs tine. They both work, as well as "prong".

how to de-ice your car ....
Posted: 11/30/2006 11:41:50 PM
Coorslightguy has it down pat! I also have a gadget named a "car warmer". You plug it in, and the inside of the car gets toasty warm, resulting in clear, easy-to-roll-down windows and non-frozen-shut doors. The only downfall is that if there is a downfall (of snow) the entire heated portion of the vehicle will have a 2" thick sheet of ice.

Also it's a good idea to empty the washer fluid thingy completely of the pink stuff before adding the blue stuff. I didn't do that -had an inch or two of pink stuff left and just topped it off with the blue... and this morning my washer fluid was coming out like blue slurpee!

Ah yes, the bags. That's another green thing I do is NOT buy bags from Superstore, but bring my bins in instead. I've also got some cloth bags and a couple of the PC Green thick plastic bags (very durable and reusable), in case I overshop.

And holy smokes ITV that's quite the sunflower!

I'm saving energy right now by sitting here in front of my computer instead of doing something more productive. lol

I've got flourescents here but it wasn't my choice -I'm just renting.

I've switched almost exclusively to rechargeable batteries, and recycle religiously.

I was on my way to work this afternoon -major traffic jam! At 2:00 in the afternoon! I was kicking myself (well I wasn't really, just figuratively) thinking... I shouldn't have told them all about the darn COUPON! Looked like everyone was heading to The Love Nest...

Turned out to be a water main break though.

I love my toys!

I am aware that some men are jealous of them. I found out after an ex threw one up against the wall and put a crack in it. I think that was a little extreme, he should have just said it bothered him and I would have kept it out of sight... lol

In a live-in situation, I don't mind putting them away, or even getting rid of them... but while I live alone I will have my toys -they are good, safe fun, so why not. Whether I have toys or not, I'll get the job done anyway lmao.

Discreet Boutique is an excellent store, will great selction, but the small stores are good too. The Love Nest for instance -not as wide of a selection, but the prices are about the same... and there's a $10 coupon (when you spend $30 or more) you can print online at lovenestboutique dot com (me and my coupons LOL).

Windows Live Messenger is no longer BETA. They released the final version recently. I love the send offline message feature! I think the replacing of our contacts' current display pic with the green messenger guy (as an icon beside their name on your list) was a downgrade though.

For those with MSN plus, the newest version (compatible with the new Windows Live Messenger) was released on Saturday. Spiffy!
