What do you think about people who have psychics' readings?
Posted: 3/29/2010 12:28:45 PM
you're being scammed, they just tell general stuff about life that applies to almost every "normal" person, it's all bullcrap to me, mediums on the other hand, i'd believe more than i would a psychic. or maybe i've just never had a psychic be right about giving me a reading. then again i've never been able to be hypnotized either.(i tried it to quit ciggarettes twice). but in my opinion, it's a money scam. I could care less if you want to call a psychic, whatever works for you and your money. i dont tell people how to live their lives.

Question about Women and Progressive Rock/Metal.
Posted: 3/23/2010 10:23:36 AM
yeah i too wasn't inpressed with the new porcupine tree, but if you get the chance check out a band called OSI(office of strategic influence) has mikael akerfeldt(opeth),
kevin moore and jim matheos. not to mention alot of guests ranging from stephen wilson, and other various progressive musicians. i dig all of porcupine tree's other albums though, especially "deadwing"

Sexual Frustration!!! How to Deal With It?
Posted: 3/16/2010 9:00:05 PM
ummm, light some candles, crack a bottle of wine, get lost in thought(i think of old girlfriends) and polish the one eyed gopher. that's what us guys do that aren't really into casual sex. I personally prefer to be in a relationship with a woman and you know, get to know her as a person first.

Why do so many people seem to hate cops?
Posted: 3/13/2010 7:42:10 AM
There is nothing witty about cops. They are humanless, empty souls scouring the streets to write you up on a traffic fine, when the crack heads are out roaming around b&e'ing.

Would you date someone who believed in UFOs?
Posted: 3/12/2010 8:39:49 AM
what i meant by that is: all there is to support that fact that extra terrestrials dont exist, is by hear-say. i'm not saying they exist and i'm not saying they don't. I just like to have the facts right in front of my face before i change my beliefs. same thing goes with ghosts/demons/spirits.

Would you date someone who believed in UFOs?
Posted: 3/11/2010 7:51:11 PM
i keep a half open- half shut mind on those sort of things, i like to "hope" that aliens exist, but i have never physically seen with my own eyes, proof that they do exist. but then again, there's no evidence to support the fact that they don't exist. so, who knows. and yes i would date someone who believed in u.f.o's, but there are limits, i mean if they think they belong on the mothership or something like that then, no.

Think Laws Against Texting While Driving Are Necessary? Read This!
Posted: 3/10/2010 9:20:15 AM
big surprise, how f***ing expensive is it to get a damn earpiece? is this particular text that important to where you endanger yourself and everyone else in the car? am i willing to die, or risk serious injury not only to me, but to others just by answering a text or call that you couldn't possibly pull over to answer?

those are just a few questions you should ask yourself if planning to text and drive.

i hope that puts my point of view into focus.

Posted: 3/10/2010 9:09:29 AM
good for him! you should be proud. i wanted to join the marines right out of high school as well, but i was turned down due to my flat feet, and the fact that i was born with minor curvature of the spine (kind of a stupid reasons i know.) but i guess they aren't the army, they can afford to be picky. i would still like to join up, having my college paid for in full would be quite nice.

items in your toolbox defined.
Posted: 3/4/2010 12:15:45 PM
DRILL PRESS: A tall upright machine useful for suddenly
snatching flat metal bar stock out of your hands so that it
smacks you in the chest and flings your beer across the room, denting the freshly-painted project which you had
carefully set in the corner where nothing could get to it.

WIRE WHEEL: Cleans paint off bolts and then throws them
somewhere under the workbench with the speed of light . Also
removes fingerprints and hard-earned calluses from fingers
in about the time it takes you to say, 'Oh sh--!'

SKILL SAW: A portable cutting tool used to make studs too
short.

PLIERS: Used to round off bolt heads. Sometimes used in the
creation of blood-blisters.

BELT SANDER: An electric sanding tool commonly used to
convert minor touch-up jobs into major refinishing jobs.

HACKSAW: One of a family of cutting tools built on the Ouija
board principle... It transforms human energy into a crooked,
unpredictable motion, and the more you attempt to
influence its course, the more dismal your future becomes.

VISE-GRIPS: Generally used after pliers to completely round
off bolt heads.. If nothing else is available, they can also
be used to transfer intense welding heat to the palm of your
hand.

OXYACETYLENE TORCH: Used almost entirely for lighting
various flammable objects in your shop on fire. Also handy
for igniting the grease inside the wheel hub out of which
you want to remove a bearing race.

TABLE SAW: A large stationary power tool commonly used to
launch wood projectiles for testing wall integrity.

HYDRAULIC FLOOR JACK: Used for lowering an automobile to the
ground after you have installed your new brake shoes ,
trapping the jack handle firmly under the bumper.

BAND SAW: A large stationary power saw primarily used by
most shops to cut good aluminum sheet into smaller pieces
that more easily fit into the trash can after you cut on the
inside of the line instead of the outside edge.

TWO-TON ENGINE HOIST: A tool for testing the maximum tensile
strength of everything you forgot to disconnect.

PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER: Normally used to stab the vacuum seals
under lids or for opening old-style paper-and-tin oil cans
and splashing oil on your shirt; but can also be used, as
the name implies, to strip out Phillips screw heads.

STRAIGHT SCREWDRIVER: A tool for opening paint cans.
Sometimes used to convert common slotted screws into
non-removable screws and butchering your palms.

PRY BAR: A tool used to crumple the metal surrounding that
clip or bracket you needed to remove in order to replace a
50 cent part.

HOSE CUTTER: A tool used to make hoses too short.

HAMMER: Originally employed as a weapon of war, the hammer
nowadays is used as a kind of divining rod to locate the
most expensive parts adjacent the object we are trying to
hit.
>
UTILITY KNIFE: Used to open and slice through the contents
of cardboard cartons delivered to your front door; works
particularly well on contents such as seats, vinyl records,
liquids in plastic bottles, collector magazines, refund
checks, and rubber or plastic parts. Especially useful for
slicing work clothes, but only while in use.

SON-OF-A-**** TOOL: (A personal favorite!) Any handy tool
that you grab and throw across the garage while yelling 'Son
of a ****!' at the top of your lungs. It is also, most
often, the next tool that you will need.

Cop Humour
Posted: 3/2/2010 10:05:28 AM
here's a funny one: when you get pulled over and you know u might not pass a breathalizer, you try to immediately hop over to the other seat, and fall asleep, then wake up and act really surprised when you see that your "driver" ran away. it's hilarious. when he asks about who was driving you say: "heck no, i'm wasted, he was here a second ago."

Is honesty really the best policy ?.
Posted: 3/2/2010 9:52:18 AM
I dont know maybe I'm old fashioned, but questions like the ones in the above post, can be "incriminating", in my experience anyway, women ask alot of "what if" questions where there really isnt a right answer. I'm not going to go through the list because most of them have already been posted. but yes, if you can think of a more constructive and conventional answer to some of these questions, by all means.

19 y.o. Olympian criticized for celebrating with Alcohol after Victory
Posted: 3/2/2010 9:43:41 AM
i know it's been said a million times, but my views are as is: if you can go to war and die for your country at 18.... you should be able to have a beer or two, but kids nowadays are alot more impressionable, and pardon the venacular: too stupid not to drink and drive. but for god's sake, if i just won a freakin gold medal and was over the age of 18, i would at least have a glass of champaigne(or however you spell it) to celebrate it. but everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

The Funniest Joke In The World! Seriously!
Posted: 3/1/2010 8:45:30 PM
i got a couple of good ones:

A group of friars were behind on their belfry payments, so they opened a small florist shop to raise funds. Since everyone liked to buy flowers from the men of God, a rival florist across town thought the competition was unfair. He asked the good fathers to close down, but they would not. He went back and begged the friars to close. They ignored him. So, the rival florist hired Hugh MacTaggart, the roughest and most vicious thug in town to persuade them to close. Hugh beat up the friars and trashed their store, saying he'd be back if they didn't close up shop. Terrified, they did so.... thereby proving that only Hugh can prevent florist friars.

Mahatma Gandhi , as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. He also ate very little, which made him rather frail and, with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. This made him (Get ready...)) a super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.

Q: what did the vegan zombies eat?

A: graaaaiiiiiinnns

how many amoebas does it take to change a lightbulb....?
one.
no, two.
wait, four!
hang on, eight!!!!

Q: Why do chemists call helium, curium and barium the medical elements?
A: Because if you can't helium or curium, you barium!

Q: why did the blonde wear condoms on her ears?

A: b/c she didn't want to get hearing aids

Q: how do you put a twinkle in a blondes eye?

A: shine a flashlight in her ear

Canada's worst air disaster: Canada's worst air disaster occurred today when a small two-seater Cessna crashed into a cemetery early this afternoon in central Newfoundland. Newfie search and rescue workers have recovered 826 bodies so far and expect that number to climb as digging continues into the evening.

thats all i got for now. until i get a thousand more in email tomorrow lol.
