What do men want?

that's what you want to hear right?
That men are superficial?
like your friends?

WHEW!!! Doesn't get much more personal than that ML1

woMEN are waiting with bated breath to hear what you want (to say in return)...

Oh, Grand Puba,please enlighten me and show me the right way.
I'm so lost muddling through my life without YOU!!!
^^^^stated by the above poster...but geez, he deleted it for some reason...right after I posted this...go figure

<<< obviously what men want...so many men, so little time...sighs

(besides being the center of attention)

I did my best
But I guess my best wasn't good enough
'Cause here we are back where we were before
Seems nothing ever changes
We're back to being strangers
Wondering if we oughta stay
Or head on out the door

Just once can't we figure out what we keep doing wrong?
Why we never last for very long
What are we doing wrong?
Just once can't we find a way to finally make it right?
Make the magic last for more than just one night
If we could just get to it
I know we could break through it...just once

So ML1, now we know that you like your felionesses to be sizzling hot, bug free and fertile for growth (of what????)

What do you think of self appointed post editors?
Posted: 7/4/2007 5:03:22 PM
If the intended thought and idea of the poster is legible and is put forth in such a way that it can be understood by all, then who the H E L L cares if there is a grammatical error or spelling mistake or three...forums are not dating communiques designed to impress, just an exchange of ideas. That being said, however, I do tend to think that the person is of higher intelligence if their English skills are masterful, even knowing what I do know about dyslexia and intelligence. An interesting prejudice for sure...

...If someone must take the time to correct other posters (except for fun and sarcasm as part of a flame or two) on a continual basis, probably a bit bored...go teach ESL or help an illiterate adult learn to read or something...

Testimonials ... Good ??? or the Kiss of Death???
Posted: 7/4/2007 10:00:05 AM

As a newbie, I did not find the testimonials at all intimidating, but I did find them odd.

Odd they are, even for some of us who have been on here awhile...if you watch them sometimes you see the dramas unfold...LMAO...joeblow has a new tesitmonial...okay...she's in love with him but still trying to be his friend...but puts a testi up that she knows will scare any more dates away...then poof that testi is gone when the guy realizes it's hurt his business...and she reposts a more generic friend one when she realizes that she has really been kicked out the door...

...soap operas in a box...you are such a great person(gag me), sorry it didn't work out...I feel bad for dumping you and here's a few words to help you find someone who WILL like you...(good luck with that)

Single dad going crazy...found something out!!!
Posted: 7/2/2007 4:45:07 AM
Kudos to you.

Please though, I hope you have had more than one opinion from different psychiatrists at different hospitals for your child, especially if he/she was very young when diagnosed. It is difficult to diagnose such things accurately at young ages...often the diagnoses morph over time, and changes in psychiatrists, and what once was an apple is suddenly an orange. Better to have as much input as you can early, than ten years down the road a child with ten different labels, who may become traumatized with the stigma of being different.

<<< does believe there is an overzealousness these days to medicate square children into round holes

Best wishes to you and your child

is romance dead?
Posted: 7/2/2007 1:30:01 AM
...I don't think I am capable all by my little old self to give all of the male species a bad rap...something tells me they have done that all on their little old lonesomes...

Im asking this question after receiving numerous emails from guys that seem to want to jump past the courtship and right into bed. Are the majority of women the same way? Or am I just unlucky? I have come across a few guys who still like to be romantic but they seem to me to be few and far between.

...and if you read the whole post, you may have noticed that I also spoke up FOR the males who were complaining about the same thing with women...obviously THEY are ones that are not just looking to hop into bed.

May The Force be With You

P.S. A sense of humour is a wonderful thing.

...F.Y.I....

Men simply consider 'romance' as the cost of getting into bed. If you can get into bed for free, why not try?

It seems like a lot of women also tend to be that way these days, although they don't have to pay the same price to acheive it... I have had numerous guys tell me that women only want one thing from them on here, and it ain't mowing the lawn...

Don't settle for less than you really want. Make them pay the price

Well known fact that women outlive men by far...

Growing old alone...hmmmm...no diapers, no feeding, no grumpy old man that wants his tea and toast made before I have my coffee...

...What's to fear about that?...

Let's hear answers from all of the health care managers/administrators and employees
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~(PLEASE!!!!)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Have any of you ever been in the situation were the more you do the more they want?
Have you ever been forced into overtime that you don't want?
Feel that the bottom line is more important then the employees health?
If you are an employer do you think it is important to keep your employees happy?
Do you pressure your employs in to working beyond there means?
Are you understanding if mistakes are made?
The practical element to this program just may have been invented, it's called Reader's Digest Word Power... let's all practice, shall we?
di·dac·tic(d-dktk) also di·dac·ti·cal (-t-kl)
adj.
1. Intended to instruct.
2. Morally instructive.
3. Inclined to teach or moralize excessively.
And as for YOU, Mr. No-tears, confused-guy...you should read up on the newest findings that there is a direct link between stifled emotions and early onset Alzheimers...the lacrimal glands back up and all that excess saline puts pressure on the grey matter...you might want to be peeling onions a little more in the near future to delay the whole process...
Posted: 6/24/2007 10:46:14 AM
I think men mainly do it for two reasons:
1) we have big egos (we hope pics with hotties will make us look extra cool)
2) we're dumb (we don't realize that girls are not fooled and are totally turned off by this)
In fact, being dumb and having a big ego drives most of our idiotic behaviours.
Dear female-kind:
we suck. sorry.
Relationships and Antidepresants...
I went with one, for about 3-4 months, (not as long as you) who had some sort of depression, who was taking meds, and her mood swings at times were astronomical, and just totally unbeleivable, I couldn't beleive it.
...sounds more like menopause to me...or a little known condition that women get when they have to deal with ignorance on a daily basis...^ssholaphobia
ELVIS IS IN THE BUILDING
The topic I believe is relationships and antidepressants, not people with bipolar disorder or mood swings.
I wonder how many would opt to experience your condition...? Ignorance is a much more life altering and pervasive disease to cope with than ten mental illnesses combined. DEFINITELY easier for most to walk away...
Get it on, pass the bong, get it on
Well, you're built like a car
You got a hubcap diamond star halo
