Is Intelligence A Curse In Relationships?
Posted: 3/18/2008 8:45:54 AM
Intelligence is manipulable and not revealed by mirrors so need be no more a curse than any other extreme as has been well recognised here. I, also, have spent a lifetime at this and I've learned so much that doesn't really mean anything but is sometimes true. Well probably is ....or might be. Intellectual and intelligent aren't necessarily mutual terms. Stupid people with huge egos are too stupid to ever realise the depths of their stupidity. Intelligence, with differing knowledge and ability subsets, creates diversity. In my unit of diversity I have tested the bounds, rescued my ego from the vanities, still remain whelmed with curiosity and I'm still unsure what being intelligent really means even though testing tells me I am. Apart from the ephemera, at present I think it means to have a greater ability to sense consequence which could be a handicap but there's always a balance to every advantage. Success to me means ascertaining how much is enough balanced by the effort to attain and then enjoying as many finite heartbeats as possible and using my skills to please myself and my children and now my grandchildren. There's great joy for me knowing my genes are still in the time stream and eminent survivors so it enhances those relationships and the lifeforce has made male female relationships naturally about children. There's also great joy in asking 'Why' and 'How' and being able to see a very little.
Why don't i want to rule the world? I'd have to waste time with too many diqheads.
" To see the world in a grain of sand and heaven in a wild flower. To hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour" Bless you William Blake you make me so envious and awesomely inspired. Hope I haven't used too many platitudes. They're such wonderful little furry creatures

Probably easier to be freezier in Alaska, lol. Wonder how well french knickers sell? Seems to me the teasing and fighting is about finding boundaries and establishing fitness and security for parenthood with a potential erotic side benefit. Paradoxically security seems to be death. Both males and females seem to be more secure when they're a little afraid and it certainly heightens awareness. Anyhow that's my pop psych view. Nothing like teasing a girl until she starts to fire up and then grabbing, holding tight, and tenderly nibbling. Also nothing like a chase for revenge and a wrestle for dominance after you've been annoyed enough to get your attention

Why Do We Women Continuously Put Down Men?
Posted: 12/15/2007 8:17:24 PM
Speaking personally I never get too hot about hot air. I didn't ask to be made a rooster so I'm not going to apologise to anyone for being one. Women are always flapping their jaw about something incomprehensible. That's why males have an auto ears off switch and legs. Plus they do most of the work so they're entitled to something. Speaking generally I don't care at all if women bash other males. I don't like them anyway. They're the competition, they're hairy, look disgusting and they stink. Always had this small background thought that women must be a little peculiarly perverse for even liking us.
Think it changed me somewhat having daughters though because somehow I'm always on their side

social standing/class/education does it really matter?

You talk like a man and you oh so surely demonstrated the answer to your real 'proposition' of why were people like you placed in a box which most of the people here knew but were too polite to tell you

Inside the mind of a serial seducer
Posted: 12/12/2007 12:04:48 AM
[only 100 at age 32?... wow he must need some viagra or something. I had that many by age 21.]
yeah Moi Aussi. Me and my bike. The fifties/sixties were hot. Real rockin' and rootin' and shootin'. I go to my bikie reunion now every year and see the grannies acting respectable but I remember them when we were young and lovely with their legs in the air in the moonlight going crazy and I look at them and grin and they can't hide that girlie secret smile. Not sure how many, it's all a bit of a blur now, though i remember 7 different girlies in one day starting at 6.30 in the morning AND knocking back the 8th 'cos it was a gang bang. Was just like having a burger and easier. No drugs, just bikes booze and banging.
Not sure who was the seducer and who the seduced. We'd be sitting on our bikes ( anything up to 200 but usually up to twenty) at the kerb in our local 'burb carrying on like culturally deprived bike obsessed Teen boys and the girlies would walk up and back, up and back until someone felt like a ride and said hop on. These were just normal girls out for a rev. They didn't come to marry us just to play. Didn't pay to hang with the scrags, too likely to get poxed. The fast ride to the boonies was the foreplay and were they ready. After, we'd take them where they wanted to go and they'd comb their hair and walk away smiling. Might see them again might not
Get a bit sick of this boy bad, girl good ballocks. We are the same and girlies sure do like to shag. These girlies came from all over the city to get fixed up. Came like they were coming to Mecca. Only time they got upset was if they got knocked back. None of them were afraid of us only of their girlfriends mouths. Girls can be awful nasty.
They wanted to be in the gang and some girls did hang with us permanently. We're still friends. You can bleat wise man from the east platitudes all you want but it aint like some of you try to fake it. I been there. Seems there's a real world and yours. Pathetically scripted mechanistic balderdash. Pity we didn't have it all on film. Movies that is, there's plenty of pics.... and witnesses.

Help ! I need your opinion........

"Shouldn't his doctors be better able to identify if this is a bona fide malady?"

Yeah...bit confusing but it's sort of hard to believe you could forget the dog as well
I think oiving said it so wunerflee

Monday ended
But the marriage still flounders on
Fido and his bona maybe gone
And the malady lingers on

I used to think I was really indecisive but now I'm not so sure

just as shallow?
Posted: 12/9/2007 7:36:31 AM
Is this thread deep or shallow?
It bemuses a fellow!
How deep is a creep???
Would a fondness for sheep
named yvonne or
phillipe,
qualify one for the genre?
Well I've wandered and squandered,
I've dreamed and I've pondered,
but one thing I've learned above all.
As a view of the whole
or a description of soul,
well one pic's just one click
in a chorus.
Songs and words charm the birds
and reveal the absurds
or why you shouldn't abhor us.
And adherence to appearance,
is a source for incoherence
as solid as a shade upon a wall.
So if looks are all you've got,
well a lot you have not,
for in weeks you wont see them at all.......

But oh for such sensate baby making weeks which left you both soul sated..sentient.. weak... yet so strong among the memories

Sometimes it's lovely being a genius when the muse wants to play and my soul and I remember why we love her so deeply and dearly
copyright to me 10/12/'07 AESDT don't care what you do with it though as long as I get a mention, lol

I thank you kindly sir,
from you an honour I aver,
but all and all I do
is an homage to the few,
and an effort to restore,
my gods of genius and awe
gone before

My eyes find you attractive.
My soul finds you seductive.
You recall the sweeter memories,
of lovers I have known.
Save all those Queens of Hearts,
as they performed their parts,
of Dallying and Dreaming,
Chronos wore away their throne.

Now I stand here in my evening,
watching memories of morning,
yearning for past joys and grieving
for the beauty that has gone.
