LMAO at Steno....

Thump my darling you have gotten alot of great advice here today
and you know you have lots of open arms and ears and hearts down here
we love you and miss you - come back to the city for a day
we can all brainstorm on this with you..you are truly a beautiful person with a great heart
do not take anything personally from this ex - it is not you she is full of anger about
it is not you.......
I believe the advice you have gotten today is well worth considering if you haven't already
and if none of that works out for you - i believe in stenokitty's theories !

Loyalty
Posted: 8/29/2009 12:15:49 PM
Loyalty -- OMG that should be my middle name at times
I agree with one poster above that mentions it is a similar act as unconditional love
I have this with employers and people if they treat me with respect and dignity

A feeling or attitude of devoted attachment and affection.

Someone is knocking . . .
Posted: 8/29/2009 12:02:49 PM
I dont answer my door
I dont answer my phone

I will often check to see who is there or who is calling but rarely still answer
unless its my kids or family

I can turn the ringers off on my phones but unfortunately I cant mute the doorbell or knocking
If I must answer it I dont go down to the door - I open the window on the 2nd floor and yell out -
its my safety zone.... plus one day there was a bear at the door - a real one!

What do you consider is the best feature of this site?
Posted: 8/27/2009 2:06:54 PM
the ability to make friends esp of the same sex

the rainbow group that embraces all

the open forums *cough*

the entertainment just before its deleted !

and the part where you get to add meaningless words at the end of your post because your opinion is not BIG enough or wordy enough to merit posting without adding garbly gib

oh and being able to Garbly gib

fitness
Posted: 8/25/2009 1:45:34 PM

My treadmill still gets used quite regularly,

^^ What a coincidence! Mine does too ...
there are runners placed neatly on it and a box of Big Brothers donations to give away and it is frequently a great clothes dryer for delicate items.... I especially like its usefulness each day as a divider between the office and the living room !
Hooray for Tread mills - the multi purpose fitness machine !

I'm so glad the favourites display is gone!

ME too .....especially since 8 out of 10 were people with duplicate profiles
and not individuals..... IE 10 favorites on my list - 8 were the same person ......

good riddance to the numbers and i kinda like the posting thingy gone too for when i accidentally posted stupid stuff responding to my silly rainbows

it is a good word to describe some ones ' behaviour -
sexually and physically and i suppose even verbally and mentally

Thinking too much?
Posted: 6/30/2009 1:12:14 PM
"" COGITO ""

Cogito ergo sum

"Cogito, ergo sum" translated in English as: "I think, therefore I am", also translated as "I am thinking, therefore I exist"

If someone is wondering whether or not he exists, that is in and of itself proof that he does exist.
The Latin "Cogito ergo sum" is usually shortened to "Cogito" when referring to the principle virtually everywhere else.

my father always called me "the Thinker" - one of his nicknames for me
I am totally in understanding of this thread - I found if too much time is spent on thinking in my brain in the past it became ruminating and that created a whole new mess - I now think about something - take note or right it down for later if not worked out immediately in my mind.......

or as Mark twain says ..whenever i get the urge to "blank" - I sit down and let it pass...

just my thoughts this day

Wrong and right.
Posted: 6/28/2009 2:36:18 PM

the thread could be misleading so I direct your attention to the world around you

In my world - all is right and good -
When it is wrong in my world, I do all I can to make it good again.

I think if everyone made the wrong - right in their world then the whole world would be right... I think i prefer to use the words Good and Bad in my world ...if i feel good about my world than its right. (I'd rather be good than right)

I feel good about "my" world and all I can hope for is that the vibrations of my good world goes forth and helps other's worlds be good too - if even for a moment

have a nice rainbow
