what are the top 3 things that drive you nutz?
Posted: 5/4/2006 6:50:30 PM
1) being taken for granted.
2) people who give you time to meet and then cancel on you 15 minutes AFTER the meeting time.
3) people who cheat on others and expect that they can be forgiven for it.

a husband always tried to impress his wife.. (idiot!)
but the wife was never impressed...(what else is new?)
one day he learned how to fly (yippiee)
wife spots a man flying and doesn't know who he is ("wow.. and my husband? huh!")
husband comes home ("damn! she gotta give me some credit for that")
wife: "you lame a$$... here you are... guess what? I saw a man flying today.. " (nag nag)
husband: "Hun.. that was me?" (Feeling like a man among men)
wife: ?........ "it was you?" (hardly believing him.)
Yup said the husband.. (show off!)
wife: no wonder you couldn't keep it up for long (hmmmm.... ouch)

Posted: 3/13/2006 7:29:57 PM
hmmm... isn't everything a competition for guys? I don't know how much I like the idea of visualising myself, standing in line for someone's approval... thou at many times that is exactly how it feels like.. I guess it's the race with time and life.. no one knows who's gonna win it... you just have to do your best.. :) hope that makes any sense...

Love is the only survivor?
Posted: 3/13/2006 7:24:05 PM
I think 'Hope' is the only thing that has been constant in every era of huminity... if you look at love from that point well... why do we end a relationship or a marriege with a person that we once believed to be the love of our lives?

when do you know its real?
Posted: 3/13/2006 7:20:15 PM
hmm... well... I don't know how much this is gonna help but the way I look at life is that life is like sand.. if you're happy then it feels like slipping through hands.. and if you're sad.. well... then it feels like an endless desert.. we can wonder if the mirage we see is real or not.. but we can never be sure...

Assumptions
Posted: 3/13/2006 7:17:02 PM
well.. assuming something about someone without knowing the facts.. is like passing a judgement without knowing the details.. and it never really helps no matter what your agenda is... most of us have heard the expression.. "never judge a book by it's cover..." :) unless one's some psychic that can predict the future 100% correctly.. one shouldn't expect or assume anything from anyone.. cuz u never know what the reasons are behind that person's actions or whatever...

Posted: 3/13/2006 8:14:03 AM
Lying in your profile is like driving with a punctured tire... it's never gonna take you far... there are plenty of guys who would lie in their profiles and there are plenty of girls who would lie in their profiles.. in the long run... it's just not worth it...

it takes 21 days to make or break a habit... :) start with denying yourself or associating yourself with something else each time you think about playing... let's say... the next time u want to play.. leave the house... go to the market.. and look around for things and their prices.. lol... ok... that's not very creative but u get the idea...

Women living alone
Posted: 3/8/2006 1:44:22 PM
well... I don't know if I can say that men don't need women and women don't need men... if that was the case then the difference of opinions and methods of approach to any subject would have caused wars between men and women... I think we both need each other... it's the criterias that have changed... women are now more independent compared to the 60s.. needless to say... ABOUT TIME!... lol... however... it's still not a global status..

As far as women living alone or should I say... "on their own"... well... that's one step closer to measureable independence... unfortunately, women are still not there... simply because there are still those who live in the fear of failure and possess weakness of heart... maybe it's the 'what if' factor... or maybe they aren't ready.. I don't really know.. all I can say is there is a very long way to go... some will agree with me and some wont... but that's how it looks from my side...

you're right.. age has nothing to see with emotional connections.. however, it is, somewhat, disapointing to find myself being part of a different crowd where I can't fit myself...

I have nothing against age... MOST of my friends are atleast 20 year older than I am... and it never is a problem for me... I guess now u might understand the anomoly I'm talking about... or maybe not...

Anyone care to discuss the worst date you've had, ever here.
Posted: 3/8/2006 1:22:38 PM
ah... the worst date of my life... it has to be when I went out with this girl who (at that time) was an alcohol abuser... phew.... I had never seen a girl drink THAT much in 40 minutes... it wasn't the super paced drinking that bothered me... it was the puking afterwards... and still wanting to drink more... messing up the skirt of another girl who was passing by... and giving a reason to the manager for kicking us out... Gawd... I don't think I've got anything good to remember about that day... and that girl...

ah... as much as I hate to admit it, I'm starting to understand what my delimna is... I think I'm a bit too mature for my age to think of things in these terms... and no... I'm not falling in love with someone... reason? it's kind of unusually hard for me to find someone from my age group to be on the same page as I am (not that I'm the smartest man alive) anyway... I felt like taking out some of what I had in my head... thank you guys for the responses... I apreciate them... a lot..

AAAAWWW Look who's here!
Posted: 3/7/2006 5:11:39 PM
well... it depends on the history between the two people... I know.. I know... there isn't really anything like a clean break up but people do move on... it takes time to get use to the idea that the 'other' still exists and has a life beyond the extinct relationship... and, initially, it is kinna awkward... but that feeling eventually fades... and if you've got a good heart and a good head on the shoulders then it shouldn't be a problem...

In all the intensities of emotions and immunities to the attractions that I've felt and seen in my life, I have stopped here and I'm wondering what I've accomplished.

Many would wonder what the fuss is all about and many would pass by with no intention to ever finding out what had happened... Yet, I am watching the anomaly to take shape and develop, into an unknown, un-named, phenomena. It is what resonates a different pulse, scattering a different charisma, and this difference is the cause of the erratic heart beat; I'm feeling inside my chest, probably for the first time... I'm watching it take shape and I hope against what I would wish it would be. So many questions asphyxiate me into an abyss of monopolist dilemma. Is it the fear of the unknown? Or is it the difference that is creating this correlation between the two of us? I wish I knew myself, well enough, to answer those questions.
