I DID forget you, you are also witty and funny, you like music too? That is AWESOME! You belonged with norwegian guy and clooneystutor and I now give you props along with kj and eric for music-Rock on! :)
Also, Agirlnamedalli should have defiantly made it on my list of women with good hearts.
Sugung should have made the gentleman's list.
And Funchef is another poster who makes me think.
Peppermentpetunias is my go to source is the health forums, very wise and kind.
Walts is almost in a category by himself, HOW did I forget him? Straight forward, calls it as he sees it and funny at the same time :)
Gtomustang as well-also straight forward and wise.

Thank-you kind lady, and I agree with all the rest as well.

The last time I thought about race, height, or age was either when I was in 4th grade, or when I fell off my dinosaur.......... Can't remember which. I truly feel sorry for those who have such limited thinking and narrow vision.

OP, this is difficult to say. Personally, I hate texting. It reminds me of telegraph. We've gone backwards in communication, not forwards. That said, he may be (like me) not into testing at all. On the other hand, he may have other options, and while he may find you interesting, is not ready to get into anything with you. At least not right now.

Heightism, racism, ageism, and a whole host of others are sweeping prejudices masquerading as sexual preferences. As soon as I see a profile that says anything limiting about these things I go NEXT!!!!

There's an old adage "wherever you go, there you are."

Sometimes we need a fresh perspective/mindset & or a little spit & polish. Maybe a diet & a gym, or some spiffing up (for both genders) is in order. A lifecoach could help evaluate your dating approach/skills, etc.

If someone is not successful IRL &/or w/OLD, maybe they need to tweak one or more aspect of themself to achieve their desired goal.

Absolutely agree. I went to Karaoke tonight. I had dinner there, and sat and watched. Almost every other person in the entire restaurant was coupled. I thought to myself, that as I have been single and dateless my entire life, I have worked hard to improve myself. Education, martial arts, meditation, dance, music......... the list goes on. It made me realize that being dateless is not so bad. It has also been good for the bank accounts as well. And, I've traveled the world freely, and never had to worry about anyone else.

I think you read my mind here.

I went out to Karaoke tonight. I saw a couple. She was black, and he was white. In a country that seems to have suffered some setbacks in race relations over the past 6 years or so, it's nice to see that many regular people are blind to color and race. Seeing that made me feel good.

So lesssssssseeeeeeeee........ A friend can introduce me to many ladies. (Have been introduced to many in the past) Never had any luck getting any to go out with me. So why should I think that paying some stranger to try and match me up is going to work any better. I'd do better paying a pimp for his call girl.

It's funny because on one hand, everything point to women being totally into hook ups and one nighters, judging on the pics I see here on POF there's alot of young ladies willing to pose like sluts w/sexed up duckface selfies, very suggestive pics, giving the APPEARANCE at least of a never ending buffet of babes. So then, why is this such a struggle for guys. How come these "up for anything" ladies arent coming thru? AM I actually looking at pics of pros?

Actually, yes, that's exactly what they are. In fact, many of the paid sites use pros, and create multiple fake profiles just to attract suckers to part with their money. It's the old bit and switch, just done in "online fashion".

Everyone has their "deal breakers". Usually, in the online world, where it is crawling with men, women can have their pick. As such, if the man has ever voted Republican (or democrat), has green eyes instead of blue, is less than 5'11" or more than 6'1", makes less than $100,000.00/year (no, 99,999.99 is a deal breaker), drives a BMW instead of a Mercedes, lives more than a half mile away, has dark hair instead of blonde, is more than one month older or younger, has less than a masters degree, rides a Kawasaki instead of a Harley, he won't get dates.

It's the way of things online. Get used to it.

OP, are you sure the message is legit? It's easy to manipulate pics and screen shots today. If she was once involved with him, she may be doing this to break you two up, so she can get back with him. Also, it may be a case of "I don't want him, you can't have him".

Just my thoughts.

Online, men outnumber women by quite a bit. Offline, (it is said) that women outnumber men. I suppose that's true if you are 80. Either way, I've found the two worlds identical: Offline I get told NO, online I'm either ignored or get told NO. SSDD.

It's all about feminism. Most of the feminist leaders support lesbianism to the exclusion of heterosexuality. It is the view of the feminist leadership that marriage, and any other relations between a man and a woman constitutes rape, and should never be engaged in. Many young women going to the colleges and Universities are being brainwashed into this mantra by professors that have this agenda to keep like sexes together, and opposites apart. This is also why workplace sexual harassment cases have skyrocketed in recent years, and why women are again hitting the glass ceiling. It is better to not get promoted, than to have to mix with men.

Hey Coma,

Really, I joke about being ugly. Actually, I'm obscessive/compulsive about my personal hygiene. I don't think I'm Quasimodo, but I've always been the kind of guy that (I'm guessing) is so regular and nondescript, that women don't even know I exist. Seriously, I could walk into a room filled with 30 something women hopped up on Avlamil, with their bio clocks ticking, who haven't seen a man in a decade, and not a one would even turn and look in my direction. WTF? It's been the story of my life. It's like I have a sign on my head that says "Ignore me COMPLETELY". I'm thinking if I were truly ugly, they would at least look at me, if only to feel sorry for me, but it's not even that.
