I need some advice/help
Posted: 4/25/2007 2:13:18 AM
Dear sista. I also am a BBSSW. Just hearing the word diet sends many of us into a feeding binge. So what, just jump right into the just for today, just for this morning, I will have a yougart and a cup of mixed fruit or red grapefruit in lite surup. I have lost 45 lbs within 6 months as of this month. After I stopped dating an uptight ridgid MAN.
I felt like rebeling around him, and purposely not trying to loose any weight. He had alot of potential, yet, yet. I am working on for today, to try to lose another 45 lbs. on my own. My son is getting married to another beautiful gal this late summer. This is a good incentive for me. Her family is from Frisco Bay, CA. I want to loose my big gut.
Stay focused sista. You can, you will do it. Cheers

Isn't it proper for the man to let the woman order before him ?
Posted: 4/24/2007 12:27:28 PM
No. I feel and think that the man will score points by allowing the lady to order first. But, after that, as for myself, he can order first later on. It takes me a while to see what he is ordering, then, I decide if I want the same meal.

Dating and Spirituality
Posted: 9/22/2006 1:53:28 AM
That is a red flag for me. If the guy is not a 12 stepper into Bill W. or catholic or christian background and occassionally attends church. I drop him within 4 to 6 months. He is a phony and used religion and God to bait you.

Haven't dated in awhile...problem???
Posted: 9/22/2006 1:50:16 AM
Don't show you are too interested in him and that you just want to have a nice date. If he thinks you are easy for sex. Split like the Red Sea. Don't need a nasty creep. Maybe on the next date, if all goes well.

What do women look for in a man after 40?
Posted: 9/22/2006 1:40:38 AM
I will not be satisfied what what ever comes my way. I'm old and picky. The Lord God will give me the desires of my heart. He has be faithful to me in so many many ways. I'm moving in with my old 39 y/o gf and her four beautiful daughters. So I won't be bored living there. And I will still go onto night law school and own two car dealers one in San Diego, CA and one in this area. And practice law in San Diego, CA and in this area.
My God gave me a brilliant brain. I shall use it to the extreme. Lucky man, whoever hooks up with my police background family. Can you handle a old tiger?

Celibacy - a more common choice than people admit?
Posted: 9/22/2006 1:31:20 AM
Cheap hot slutty sex is for the young uns. We older folks need daily hugs and kisses and hand holding. Well, this is about what I want and think, for today. Tomorrow is another day.

A moment that you will never FORGET..........
Posted: 9/22/2006 1:28:12 AM
The moment you admit to yourself that you are falling in love with a bi-sexual young hot man. And you know it a no win situation for me/you. But, I still love his persona. He is so loveable. I better find me my own hetrosexual bf soon. But, junior has a piece of my heart. It hurts we both were deeply into church for many years and had many good memories there too. But, the past is the past. Why is it the cute and sensitive ones are mostly gay/bi ?

Men love naked women
Posted: 9/9/2006 2:59:20 AM
By the way skinny gals. Many of your boyfriends and husbands love to make hot and wild sweaty love to big and super sized women. There are Victoria Secret large sized bras and panties and such too. So don't do think you have anything over on us. The men tell us that their skinny girlfriends and skinny wives are always angry and uptight cause they don't eat...

Some men are so ugly and stupid and brainless, even with a average sized body it still will make no difference. Ugly and stupid and brainless vs. fat and cute. Fat and cute always wins.

Why did you divorce/split?

49 year old divorced guy spent too much time with his teen age kids. I was the left over time. I got tired of this. If he don't compromise, I will start dating other men. I have not yet...

they should make crime penalties so severe that the crime becomes unthinkable
Posted: 8/18/2006 3:57:17 AM
I agree, on child predetors and violent rape and murders. Not, drug addicts with kids involved, unless the kids are beaten or left alone so mom and dad or guardians can get high. Social services needs to be broadened in this issue, like in England.

Do you drive an SUV and why?
Posted: 8/18/2006 3:53:54 AM
I have always had smaller sized cars. I'm 50 and like the added space for my grandkids when I visit them. Damm it, I worked hard all my life, so a SUV is my cup of tea.

WHY CAN MEN TALK TO SEVERAL WOMAN AT ONCE BUT WOMEN CANNOT???
Posted: 8/12/2006 11:54:04 PM
I see dating as a test for being faithful. Either you are, or you are not. And if you are bi-sexual, do you tell her of the him, or lie? I don't like cheaters with me. If I find out they are, I lose them quickly. I don't need trash men. But, if you both agree that you are still not ready to date only them, then, be up front about that ISSUE. Fair is fair. Cheater is a cheater.

Is there one thing you dislike about camping? Or more than one.
Posted: 8/9/2006 6:10:28 PM
The nasty outhouses or no tolet paper or no soap to wash your hands. Although, now you can buy all these in any store and take them with you. I most definately will, when I go camping.

who here actually enjoys their job??????
Posted: 8/9/2006 5:54:44 PM
I can't say enough stuff about my job. Yes, there is tons of work all the time. But, its all about the kids who are injured permanently or for a short time, if they qualify medically or financially the state pays for their meds or diapers or social work and of the guardians of said children. I am in the clerical case management section. County job.

Do christians have the right to impose their views/values on the larger society ?
Posted: 8/5/2006 2:08:38 AM
Christian religion has moral standings which offend those persons who choose to live their lives in opposition of moral and christian belifes. The United States of America was founded by Christian God fearing men. You cannot take away from the basic principles this country was founded upon, without damaging the very foundations of our US of A. Nobody can live a PERFECT RELIGIOUS AND MORAL CHRISTIAN LIFE. It is impossible. But, a good rule of thumb, for all in here. Those citizens with different lifestyles have their rights to the way they want, as long as it doesn't infringe on the minor children or the unrepresented citizen in here. Just, my opinion.

Checking out others when your In Love
Posted: 7/29/2006 11:39:07 AM
I don't hear anyone talking about the real issues that are the glues in any long term relationships or marriages. Compatibility in religion, do you really like being around kids, sharing in driving the kids to music practice, excetera. And finances, sharing and having your own money, and how much is we money. Lusting for one another is good at the very beginning. But, then, its the working at your relationship. And maintaining it at a healthy level all the way through is another piviotal core issue.

Odd Question
Posted: 7/8/2006 9:55:15 PM
I have never seen a woman shave herself. And if she did that in an open gym shower, I would be disgusted with her. I pay for the use of the same shower and I would let management know that she did so. Let her do that on her own home, if she has one. And if a woman approaches me in that way, I would say, hey, I love it with men only in a very strong tone of voice, which I am a strong assertive woman anyways. To each his own.

Posting in OVER 45 when you're in your 20's & early 30's.
Posted: 7/7/2006 5:13:56 AM
My kids, who are 30 and 28, respect their elders. Its all the way these younger kids see older women and older men, as sex objects. Not as people. You objectify a human being. And then treat them that way. We can lead them, by OUR EXAMPLE. Actions speaks louder than words. Yes, its alot of work. But, if you don't do it, they will continue to treat us older human beings as objects, next, comes the thought of genocide. Its an extreme, but is this what Hitler started with by treating Jewish people as objects? We get what we get.

Lost sex Life...
Posted: 7/7/2006 4:59:48 AM
God created sex. To be enjoyed between a couple.
Go to a professional for marriage advice. Like a therapist or church marriage counselor. If you have a import car, don't risk the repair to be as good as the general mechanic. Like a doctor, you need a specialist. So it is with your marriage, and God's help too.

Also, you don't date each other. Make it even one hour a day. Just you and him. If you don't, another gal will look interesting to him. And one hour with God as a family and one hour with the God of your own understanding. Balance is the key in all relationships. Even work.
